  • In this paper, we establish a unique common fixed point theorem for T-contraction of two self maps on generalized cone b-metric spaces with solid cone. The result of this paper improves and generalizes several well-known results in the literature. Two examples are also given to support the result.

  • Necessary conditions for the existence of common fixed points for noncommuting mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions in a Menger convex metric space are obtained. As an application, related results on best approximation are derived. Our results generalize various well known results.

  • Several common stationary point theorems for two classes of contractive type multivalued mappings in a complete bounded metric space are given. The results presented in this paper generalize and extend some known results in literature.

  • We establish a coincidence and a common fixed point result for four mappings involving a (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractive condition type on a complete metric space. We take on ${\psi}$ and ${\varphi}$ the same conditions given by Popescu [Fixed points for (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractions, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1-4].

  • In this paper, we give definitions for common limit in the range property of mappings and obtain common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible functions in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space using the joint common limit in the range property of mappings(shortly, (JCLR) property). Our results improve and generalize results of Chauhan et al[1].

  • We study one-step iteration process to approximate common fixed points of two nonexpansive mappings and prove some convergence theorems in convex metric spaces. Using the so-called condition (A'), the convergence of iteratively defined sequences in a uniformly convex metric space is also obtained.

  • We prove a fixed point theorem for generalized asymptotic pointwise nonexpansive mapping in the setting of a hyperbolic space. A one-step iterative scheme approximating common fixed point of two generalized asymptotic pointwise (quasi-) nonexpansive mappings in this setting is provided. We obtain ∆-convergence and strong convergence theorems of the iterative scheme for two generalized asymptotic pointwise nonexpansive mappings in the same setting. Our results generalize and extend some related results in the literature.
