A $Si_3N_4$ tappet shim was devdoped in a direct OHC engine for the friction reduction of valve train system that contributes significantly to the engine friction in real driving condition. For commercializing $Si_3N_4$ tappet shim, it is important to reduce the machining cost. Therefore we analytically and experimentally figure out the optimum condition. Using ceramic tappet shims machined with different surface roughness, the effects of roughness on the friction loss were analyzed in view of the lubrication behavior. From this results it is shown that the friction torque of valve train system quickly drops at a certain surface roughness of ceramic tappet shim and its value remains constant despite further smoothing.

In case of commercializing of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the suitable emergency response guide is necessary to prepare an accident. In order to suggest the suitable guide for the domestic affairs, the existing external guide about GM, Ford, Honda, and Hyundai was reviewed. The emergency response guides in CAFCP and main FC vehicle makers were included in the analysis. As the results, it was found that the design and make of vehicle for the domestic user are demanded in the emergency response and the guide is made with the shut-down manual picked out for the rescuer and repair man as well as user.

Brand is a useful tool for modem people living under the age of the brand, to explain the information of their products by differentiating themselves from others. It also represents the value of company and plays a major role convincing customers. Even living space brands are no exception. According to the development of marketing management ability, living space brands require the new sales strategy to dominate the market over the business competition, and plan differently for a changing market environment. On such account, companies are commercializing the living space via establishing its brands. Thus the study will cover the living space differentiation strategies for promoting the brand images of respective construction companies and will strive to compare and analyze the differentiation strategy factors that construction firms are pursuing through case analysis framework. Moreover, it's objective focuses on materializing the strategies of living space in accordance to the brand application elements.

At the global times, each country is developing various designs, symbolizing its own country's original images. So significant and continual developments must be made in the aspect of the national identity and image promotion as well as for producing added value by commercializing the designs in the manner of discriminating against cultures. So this study is trying develop the textile design that express the beauty of Korean traditional pattern. For textile design, it was selected a rice-cake pattern and developed a textile pattern design by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0.

This article is about using the fuel mixed with 10% and 20% bio-ethanol to gasoline for the engine as a way to reduce carbon emission before commercializing future automobiles like fuel cell cars. The fuel mixed with 10% and 20% bio-ethanol showed output equivalent to that of the previous gasoline fuel. CO and $CO_2$ emission was somewhat reduced, but the difference was not significant. And the consumption of the fuel increased slightly. However, bio-ethanol is produced from bio mass growing with the absorption of carbon dioxide, so the total amount of carbon dioxide did not increase according to the result. In NOx, as the use of ethanol increases, the effect of reduction gets greater, and the emission of oxygen showed almost no change compared with gasoline.

Many online content providers who use the Internet to distribute contents, such as news, music, games, books, and other types of information, have been experiencing an extremely competitive business environment. To survive in this environment, they have started charging a fee for the contents that they provide. However, there have been very few success stories in commercializing online contents. One of the biggest hurdles may be customers' psychological resistance against paying a fee for the contents that have been free of charge previously. Without examining customers' perceived prices for online contents, many online content providers have tended to decide their prices by themselves. Online games are not exceptional cases. Although many online game-related research works have focused on psychological and technical aspects, very few works have examined online garners' preference carefully. This study alms at exploring online garners' preference by measuring their WTP (willingness to pay) for online games.

A vector control scheme is widely used in AC drive system in these days. In this country for commercializing the system, it has lots of dependency on advanced foreign technology. Therefore we have developed high-performance vector controlled inverter sytems ourselves for two years whose capacitives are 15kW, 30kW and 45kW. For computation of data in high speed DSP is empolyed and by using a IGBT with high switching the current ripple is reduced. Consequently, developed drive systems have high performance and accurary on speed control. There are proved in experimental results.

It has been the need for commercializing Korean traditional food using the grains like the Korean rice cake as improvement in the food life depending on advanced food processing and changes to the industrial society. However, the Korean traditional food using the grains has some weak point such as the hardness as retrogradation of starch, reducing of texture and flavor, and decrease of coefficient digestibility in human body if it's left unattended for a long time. In this paper, it was investigated that the delaying or preventing method for retrogradation of Korean rice cake at its production and storage using the literature search of patent.

SFFS(Solid Freeform Fabrication System) is commercializing to rapid prototyping concept in world- wide some corporations including the U.S.A, have much technological problems yet and need new mode for agile solid freeform fabrication as well as prototyping. In this paper, we design an algorithm that the cutting path of laser beam, on the SFFS, is controlled with constant speed. The designed algorithm fer constant-speed path control is implemented and experimented in the CAFL$\^$VM/ (Computer Aided Fabrication of Lamination for Various Material) system, the new SffS which is developed in this paper. Finally, the ceramic, new material developed in this paper, cut and fabricated. The dimensional accuracy and mechanical stability of the 3D object is confirmed through the experiment, also.

Web services and their composition (web processes) are promising technologies to efficiently integrate disparate software components over various types of systems. As many web services are nowadays available on Internet, quality of services (QoS) and performance/cost become increasingly important to differentiating between similar service providers. In this work, we introduce sPAC (Web Services Performance Analysis Centre) and show how customers can benefit from sPAC to consider performance in composing and commercializing web services. sPAC 1) helps users to graphically describe the workflow of web services, 2) invokes web services to test out performance for light load conditions, 3) automatically converts the web services and the flow between them into a simulation model, 4) conducts extensive simulations for heavy load conditions and various usage patterns, and 5) reports analysis results and estimation data for the web services.
