상용 프레넬렌즈를 이용한 극초소형 위성용 집광형 태양전력 시스템의 궤도 전력생성효율 분석 (On-orbit Analysis of Power Generation Efficiency of Concentrating Photovoltaic System Using Commercial Fresnel Lens for Pico Satellite Applications)

  • 극초소형 위성은 극히 제한적인 크기로 인하여 태양전지판 장착을 위한 표면적이 제한적이다. 또한 자세제어 방식에 따라서는 태양전지판에 대한 태양 입사각이 계속적으로 변화하며 이는 전력생성에 있어 주요 변수이다. 본 논문에서는 태양전지판에 대한 태양입사각이 전력생성에 불리한 조건에도 프레넬렌즈를 이용해 전력생성효율 향상이 가능한 극초소형 위성용 집광형 태양전력시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 집광형 태양전력시스템의 전력생성효율 극대화 가능성 입증을 위하여 태양광 모사기와 상용 프레넬렌즈를 이용한 전력측정시험을 수행하였으며, 시험결과를 기반으로 상용 S/W인 STK를 활용해 영구자석 안정화 자세제어 방식이 적용된 극초소형 위성의 궤도 전력생성효율 분석을 수행하였다.

순산소 석탄 연소 발전 시스템의 성능 평가 - 동력 사이클의 열역학적 해석 (Performance Evaluation of an Oxy-coal-fired Power Generation System - Thermodynamic Evaluation of Power Cycle)

  • Power generation systems based on the oxy-coal combustion with carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) capability are being proposed and discussed lately. Although a large number of lab scale studies for oxy-coal power plant have been made, studies of pilot scale or commercial scale power plant are not enough. Only a few demonstration projects for oxy-coal power plant are publicized recently. The proposed systems are evolving and various alternatives are to be comparatively evaluated. This paper presents a proposed approach for performance evaluation of a commercial 100 MWe class power plant, which is currently being considered for 'retrofitting' for the demonstration of the concept. The system is configurated based on design and operating conditions with proper assumptions. System components to be included in the discussion are listed. Evaluation criteria in terms of performance are summarized based on the system heat and mass balance and simple performance parameters, such as the fuel to power efficiency and brief introduction of the second law analysis. Also, gas composition is identified for additional analysis to impurities in the system including the purity of oxygen and unwanted gaseous components of nitrogen, argon and oxygen in air separation unit and $CO_2$ processing unit.

  • 충전기 인프라 시설은 일정한 전력 공급량을 기반으로 설계 및 설치되어 있다. 초기 설계된 충전 시설은 급속히 성장하는 전기 차량의 충전을 한정된 공급 전력량 기반으로 지원한다. 또한, 현재 상용차량은 완전 충전만 가능하며, 급속 균등 충전 방식으로 지원된다. 하지만 상용차량은 정해진 스케줄에 따라 운영되기에 탄력적인 충전이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 전기 차량의 급속한 성장 및 증가에 따라 동일 전력량을 기반으로 상용 버스의 고정 스케줄 기반 충전 스케쥴링 및 전력 분배 기법을 활용하여 20%이상 효율 향상된 전력 운영방안을 제시한다.

건식 저 NOx 가스터빈의 연소동압 측정용 소프트웨어 시스템 개발 (Development of a Software System for Measurements of Combustion Dynamics of a Dry Low NOx Gas Turbine)

  • Combustion dynamics of a dry low NOx gas turbine have been measured by utilizing a dynamic pressure measurement system. The software part of the measurement system, implemented with a commercial general-purpose DASYLab version 5.6 code, basically acquires combustion dynamics signals, performs the FFT analysis, and displays the results. The gas turbine often experiences momentary combustion instability, especially when its combustion mode changes. It is found that the measurement system developed in the study may outperform the other commercial dynamic pressure measurement system. The developed system currently serves to monitor the combustion dynamics of the gas turbine.

  • Resisting an accidental impact of large commercial aircrafts is an important aspect of advanced nuclear power plant (NPP) design. Especially after the 9·11 event, some regulations were enacted, which required the design of NPPs should consider the accidental impact of large commercial aircrafts. Normal working of equipment is important for stopping reactor under an impact when an NPP is in operation. However, there is a lack of reliable analysis and research on the impact test of nuclear prototype equipment. Therefore, in order to study the response of the equipment under high acceleration impact, a centrifugal pump is selected as the research object to perform the impact test. A horizontal half-sinusoidal pulse wave was applied to the working pump. The test results show that the horizontal response of the motor and flange is greater compared to other parts, as well as the vertical response of the coupling. The stress response of the pump body support and motor support is high, hence these parts should be considered in the design of the pump. Finally, combined with the damage and stress evaluation results of the pump under different amplitudes, the ultimate impact acceleration that the pump can withstand is given.

  • Hydraulic power steering system has been adopted in seniority passenger and commercial vehicle system for an easy maneuverability and a smoother ride. In this study, hydraulic power steering system analysis model which includes hydraulics and mechanical sub-systems was developed using commercial software, AMESim in order to predict characteristics for various steering components. Each component which constructs system was modeled and verified by experimentally obtained characteristics curves of each components. The agreement between simulation and experimental results shows the validity of the simulation model. The parameter sensitivity analysis such as valve opening area, torsional stiffness for system design are carried out by the analysis and experimental method.

  • 상용전원을 사용한 평행판전극 방전장치에서 수소플라스마로부터 방사되는 가시광선의 스펙트럼을 분광기로 조사하였다. 기체압력과 방전전력에 따라 수소플라스마로부터 방사되는 가시광선의 세기를 조사하고, 같은 조건에서 탐침으로 플라스마밀도를 측정하여 가시광선의 세기와 비교하였다. 측정결과, 가시광선의 세기는 플라스마의 밀도에 영향을 받으며, 플라스마 밀도는 기체압력과 방전전력에 영향받았다.

  • The majority of sensors currently being used for measuring current need to contact with conductor carrying current. Therefore it is not easy to measure and insulate. In order to figure the solution out, the remote power measurement system is introduced in this paper. The system developed here enables us to measure the current of the commercial power without contact by using Rogowski Coil and wireless communication method. Measured current is processed for the wireless transmission, then is transferred to the computer through wireless receiver. The data arrived at the computer is displayed on the screen as waveform.

  • 본 논문에서는 미약신호 수신환경, 고감도신호 수신환경, 스펙트럼 일치형 전파방해신호 수신환경 하에서 상용 GPS 수신기의 반송파 신호 전력 대 잡음 전력비 추정 성능을 모의실험을 통해 보이고, 이를 분석한다.
