Zirconia-Glass frit 조성에서 MgO 및 착색료가 소결체의 색상 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of MgO and coloring agents on the coloring in zirconia-glass frit system)

  • 지르코니아($3Y-ZrO_2$)에 frit을 첨가하고 MgO를 조제로 첨가하거나 혹은 하소된 성형체에 액상의 착색료에 침지하는 방법을 통하여 착색하고 얻어진 소결체의 물성과 색상 변화를 고찰하였다. Frit가 20 wt% 첨가된 지르코니아-frit조성에 MgO가 첨가됨에 따른 색상의 변화는 소결온도가 높아짐에 따라 구별가능한 정도로 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 때 색상의 변화 정도는 MgO의 첨가량 변화에 의한 효과 보다는 소결 온도의 변화에 의한 효과가 더 크게 나타났음을 확인할 수 있었다. 액상의 착색료에 침지한 후 소결한 경우에서는 frit의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 반사도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며 착색료에 침지하지 않은 경우에 비하여 색상의 변화가 감소함을 알 수 있었고 frit은 색상의 변화를 억제하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The purpose of study was to develop new dental plaque disclosants which could replace erythrosine. Three food coloring agents(Red No.40, Blue No.1, and Mixed Green), erythrosine and fluorescein were tested for their color difference, antibacterial property, and biocompatibility. Color difference of Red No.40 was greater than that of erythrosine as concentration of solution increased. Color differences of Blue No.1 and Mixed Green were smaller than that of red dyes. Erythrosine showed obvious antibacterial property, but food coloring agents showed almost no antibacterial property. The taste and sensation of erythrosine was the worst, and the taste of Red No.40 and the sensation of Mixed Green were the most tolerable. Erythrosine stained dental plaque and oral soft tissue most deeply and long, and Blue No.1 was the next in the depth and longevity of stain.

Effects of Nucleating Seeds on Coloring of Zn2SiO4 Crystal Glazes

  • The colorization of $Zn_2SiO_4$ crystal glazes was investigated by adding nucleating seeds with various coloring agents. The addition of color fixing agents such as $Fe_2O_3$, $MnO_2$, and NiO with seeds caused changes in the colors of glazes. The crystallinity and crystal size were dependent on glaze composition and firing schedules. By controlling coloring agents and firing schedules, it was possible to create various colors and sizes of crystals in a zinc-based crystalline glaze.

  • This study investigates the fundamental properties of the color concrete corresponding to the various types and contents of the coloring agent. For the properties of the fresh, the flow is gradually decreased corresponding to increasing of the coloring agent, and it is approached to the target flow on $3{\sim}6%$ of the adding amounts. The air content is increased in accordance with the increase of the coloring agent. For the properties of the hardened concrete, the compressive strength is increased about 9 and 12% in the case that $3{\sim}6%$ of red and yellow coloring agents is mixed. And they are decreased when white and black coloring agents. The chromaticity of red $(a^*)$ and yellow $(b^*)$ is appropriate at 6% of the adding amounts, and luminosity of the white and black is also favorable because of economy at 6%, so the formative article is manufactured successfully to aim in the result of this study.

Coloring agent가 지르코니아 색조 재현성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of coloring agent on the color of zirconia)

  • 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 coloring agent의 종류와 적용 횟수가 지르코니아의 색조에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 단일구조 지르코니아($15.7mm{\times}15.7mm{\times}2.0mm$)를 준비하여 완성된 시편은 11개 실험군 그룹으로 coloring agent의 종류와 적용 횟수에 따라 a1-a5와 w1-w5로 나누었다. 색조의 측정은 분광측색기를 이용하여 이루어졌다. Coloring agent를 적용시키지 않은 그룹을 대조군으로 설정하였다. 각 그룹의 색차의 정도(${{\Delta}E^*}_{ab}$)와 translucency parameter (TP)를 분석하였다. 측정치는 two-way ANOVA, multiple comparison $Sch{\acute{e}}ffe$ test, Pearson correlation와 linear regression analysis를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과: Coloring agent의 적용횟수가 증가할수록 두가지 종류 모두에서 지르코니아의 명도는 감소하고 황색계열은 증가했다. Coloring agent는 지르코니아의 투명도에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 각 그룹 간의 색조차이는 ${0.87{\Delta}E^*}_{ab}$에서 ${9.43{\Delta}E^*}_{ab}$였다. 결론: Coloring agent의 종류와 적용 횟수는 지르코니아의 색조 차이에 영향을 미치지 않았다.

레드머드를 이용한 바닥컬러콘크리트의 현장적용 (Application of the Color concrete with Red mud to the Floor Construction)

  • This study investigated the application of red muds, which were industrial wastes fired at 800℃, with a coloring agents. The results were summarized as following. The slumpflow, air content and unit weight volume were satisfied with each target values. The setting time was shortened on the case that 3 % of the red coloring agent and fired red mud were simultaneously replaced about 1 hour compared with the previous study which was 6 % of the red coloring agent was individually used. For the length change ratio caused by drying shrinkage and depth of neutralization on hardened concrete, they were declined when 3 % of the red coloring agent and fired red mud were simultaneously replaced compared with the previous study. On the measurement of forming colors, the case that 3 % of the red coloring agent and fired red mud were simultaneously replaced was similar to the previous study.

산화형 영구염모제 종류에 따른 염색성과 모발의 손상 (Dyeability of Oxidative Permanent Hair Coloring Agents and the Damage of Hair)

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of oxidative permanent hair coloring agents on the dyeability and the damage of human hair. p-phenylenediamine and toluene-2.5-diamine sulfate were used as a hair coloring agent precursers. The degree of dyeability was checked by the change of CIELAB $L^*$ value according to dyeing time. And the damage of hair was evaluated by the tensile strength and morphological change of hair in SEM. When the hair was dyed, the CIELAB $L^*$ value was decreased with dyeing time regardless of the type of precursers. But when the hair was dyed after nutritional treatment, the CIELAB $L^*$ value showed lower level. This means that the nutritional treatment covers the scale of hair and protects the hair from the chemicals.

Development of New Edible Pigments using Monascus spp.

  • Carotene, xanthophyll, carotenoid anthocyan, phycopyrine, chlorophyll, and monascus pigments are used as natural coloring agents since they are more stable to human body than synthetic coloring agents. Among them, monascus pigments are a natural red pigment produced by the Monascus purpureus. For the development of edible paint using natural pigment, Monascus purpureus strain was cultured at a temperature of $35^{\circ}C$ for 15 days on a PDYA plate and liquid medium to produce a red pigment. In addition, a large amount of the red pigment was extracted from Hongkuk Koji in parallel with water extraction and ultrasonic wave extraction. At this time, the yield of ultrasonic extract was 2~4 times higher. Thus, Monascus purpureus strains, etc. were prepared by freeze-drying powder. In conclusion, natural paints made with red pigments have enabled the development of been edible paints that can be used as eco-friendly materials with good viscosity, enhanced spread ability and coloration.

수용성 흑색 착색제의 개발과 이의 응용 (The Development of Water-Soluble Black Coloring Agent and Its Application)

  • In order to develop the economic and environmental water-soluble black coloring agent, some adequate chemical mixtures were mixed and this solution was applied to coat quenched and tempered 51B20 steel bolt. Some basic properties of the solution and characteristics of the coated film in addition to the corrosion resistance were investigated. The developed 100 kg of water-soluble black coloring agent solution was a chemical mixture consisted of 10 kg of aqueous coloring agent, 40 kg of surface active agent, 0.3 kg of anti-foam agent and $50{\ell}$ of water. The coated film of the bolt was composed of hard layer of about $2{\mu}m$ and the disbondable soft layer of about $4{\mu}m$ above the hard layer. Many surface active agents peaks and a few hydrophilic peaks were observed in the coated film. Surface roughness value of the coated bolt was lower than that of the non-coated bolt. Corrosion resistance of the coated bolt considerably improved and also relatively showed a good polarization resistance at test condition of $40^{\circ}C$ colorizing temperature and 5% the solution concentration in 3% NaCl anodic polarization test. Initial appearance time of the surface rust was greatly retarded owing to the coated film in salt spray test.

HPLC를 이용한 식품중 허용 외 색소의 동시분석에 관한 연구 (Development of a Simultaneous Analysis Method for Disapproved Coloring Agents in Foods Using HPLC)

  • 식품에 사용이 금지된 허용 외 색소 중 Orange II, Rhodamine B, Para red, Sudan I-IV 색소의 효율적인 수입식품 안전관리와 수용성 착색료 및 지용성 착색료로 이원화되어 있는 허용 외 착색료의 신속하고 정확한 분석을 위하여 동시 분석법을 개발하고자 하였다. 문헌조사를 바탕으로 분석을 위한 컬럼, 이동상 조건, 분석파장, 전처리 조건 등을 검토하여 분석법을 개발하였으며, 개발된 분석법의 검출한계 설정, 유효성 검증 및 회수율을 검토하였다. 26가지 제품에 대한 회수율 검토결과 Orange II는 96.46-121.26%, Rhodamine B는 70.86-106.53%, Para red는 97.00-116.86%, Sudan I은 92.93-112.44%, Sudan II는 96.63-115.10%, Sudan III는 92.21-114.73%, Sudan IV는 93.22-122.91%의 회수율을 나타냈다. 본 분석법 검량선의 상관계수는 0.999 이상을 보였으며 정밀성의 RSD는 0.8-1.39%로서 모두 2 이하의 값을 보였으며, 정확성은 90% 이상을 나타냈다. 이때, 검출한계 및 정량한계는 각각 0.1 mg/L, 0.3 mg/L로 결정하였다.
