Purpose : The Purpose of this study is to investigate the values of foot pressure during gait cycle according to adaptation and sudden remove of various color information. Methods : Participants who met the criteria for this study (n=13). RS-Scan was used to measure plantar foot pressur according to Five kinds of color information in this study. Results : The adaptation of various color information is no statistically significant on all area. But sudden remove of various color information is statistically significant on T2-5, M5 and MF area. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that sudden remove of various color information reduces the ability of balance during gait in normal adults. And these results means that increase risk of falling down according to sudden remove of various color information.

The purpose of this study is to study the movie costume and color image through the movie "The Aviator". Firstly, looking at the costumes of main characters and their color images expressed in the movie, one extreme of Hughes' image to another was expressed in order to show his extreme inner world by using the light-dark contrast rather than specific colors as the base. The gold color used to express the image of Hepburn represented an image expressing her intellectual elegance. As for her dress silhouette, the taste of intellectual elegance was displayed by a dress whose back was exposed with a grownup-style feminine silhouette or one with drapes and pleats ornaments. To express Gardner's image; that is, her alluring charm and glow, a vivid red color was used. As for her costume, her splendid and fascinating image was expressed by the 40s' rectangular- shouldered tailored suit, exotic peasant blouse and showy accessories. Secondly, the color image expressed in the background in the movie as a special space for Hughes. The red color image of screening room was shown to be as a space for passion and desire and the green color image of men’s room as a space for stability and rest.

Purpose - Pleasing ambient colors, music, scent, layout and salespeople are hypothesized to positively impact shoppers' perceptions about the atmosphere of a store. Few studies on the interactive effect of these atmospheric factors have earlier been undertaken. This paper looks at the interactive effect of color on the other predictor variables. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is from field locations in the shopping malls located in Delhi NCR. A descriptive study was undertaken to decipher the interactive effect of color with music, scent, layout and salespeople. Moderation of color on music, scent, layout and salespeople is regressed on store atmospherics. The authors investigate the effects of color, light, music, scent, layout and salespeople on store atmospherics in a retail context. They also study the interactive effect of color with predictor variables which significantly influence the perception of store atmospherics. Results - The paper reveals that music, scent, layout and salespeople influence customer's perception about store atmospherics. The interactive effect of color with scent, layout and sales people influence customer's perception about store atmospherics significantly. It does not moderate with layout and music. Conclusions - Store color is important in predicting store atmospherics. Care is needed to ensure that the effects of different environmental stimuli match.

This study performed a simultaneous sensory evaluation and color measurement, targeting 136 female university students who live in the Dae-Jeon region. the study measured participants'facial coloration under the condition of available light between 11 AM and 3 PM from Spring (May) to Autumn (October) in 2009. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, a member variate analysis, and discriminant analysis were executed using SPSS version 18.0 of the statistics program. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of the sensory evaluation, the blue undertone well matched to face type was dominantly distributed among the female university student participants. Second, the forehead showed a type of yellowish coloration and was relatively dark to cheeks. However the cheek displayed a reddish coloration and was relatively bright compared to the forehead from an evaluation of a cheek and forehead color measurement. Third, due to the investigation the of facial coloration variable, a yellowish and reddish chromaticity on the cheek were evident as a variable of facial coloration, which has an influence on the classification of the types of facial color. As a result of the induced discriminant through these two color variables, the yellowish chromaticity appeared as a color variable to have a greater influence than the reddish chromaticity on the cheek.

This study reflected sensitivity cognition in using color and evaluated the performance in task regarded GUI environment. Largely, three experiments were conducted. First, the searching time in text environment was compared with the searching time in color environment. Second, to know relationship of hue, saturation, lightness which are factors of color, and searching time, the searching time was measured using two-way ANOVA with interaction with three independent variables: hue, saturation, and distance. Third, sensitivity cognition about color was investigated and the performance of searching task was analyzed in the environment designed by color regarded sensitivity cognition. According to statistical results, the average searching time was decreased about 50.31% in color environment. The searching time was significant among the difference of hue and saturation. For the factor of color, the more the ratio of green and red was increased, the more searching time was decreased. The more the ratio of gray was increased, the more searching time was increased. And the searching time was developed in the environment designed by color regarded sensitivity. The purpose of this study is the presentation of sensitivity realization method and verification in the reflection and application of sensitivity to the industrial environment and design.

This study is to research the symbolism of the Eastern and Western costumes' color in films. Therefore, I chose movies about colors, which are 'Trzy Kolory', a Western movie directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski and 'Hero', an Eastern movie directed by Zhang Yimou. The purpose of this study is to figure out the symbolism of the common colors shown in both movie which are red, blue and white. Also, by comparing the eastern and western color symbols I studied the ambivalence of colors. Therefore, the comparison of the eastern and western color symbolisms are as the followings. The color red symbols charity in the movie and jealous, hatless, lies, expansion, self esteem, resist, struggle and sadness in the movie . The color blue symbols freedom, lost, gloomy and sadness in the movie and sacrifice and sadness in the movie . The color white symbols equality and emptiness in the movie and true love, sadness and sacrificed love in the movie . Consequently, it appears that the colors symbolize differently in the East and the West. Three series of which is the West movie has more positive meanings than the Eastern movie. Therefore, the meanings of symbols of the costumes' color are different in the East and West as they have different cultures, and also they could be expressed differently by the directors intention.

This study was performed to obtain optimal conditions for reduction of color in dye wastewaters using coagulation-sedimentation processes with redox reactions. The reduction of color as well as organic matters variation was observed after coagulation-sedimentation processes using FeSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 7H$_2$O and NaOCl. Coagulation-redox reaction was done with the dose of Coagulant and oxidant at various pH values. Redox reaction was done through jar-mixing and aeration. The results of study were as follows: 1. In the coagulation-sedimentation processes using FeSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 7H$_2$O, color reduction was heigher at pH 3. With variance of dosage of FeSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 7H$_2$O, color reduction was higher at 250 mg/l. When coagulation-sedimentation using FeSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 7H$_2$O 250 mg/l was added at pH 3, the reduction of color, COD$_{Mn}$, and COD$_{Cr}$ showed 47.6%, 21.3% and 22.1%, respectively. 2. When NaOCI was added at level of 100 ppm in raw wastewater at pH 3, the reduction of color, COD$_{Mn}$, and COD$_{Cr}$ showed 30.2%, 5.5% and 6.2%, respectively. 3. After coagulation-sedimentation processes by addition of FeSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 7H$_2$O, when NaOCl was added at level of 250 mg/l in supernant, color reduction was 47.8% in aeration and 37.5% in jar-mixing. 4. Color reduction by aeration was higher than that by jar-mixing.

As functions of public library has become diversified, proper environment color plan enhancing a supporting environment of user based on a function of public library should be achieved by utilizing space chromatics which is a psychological environmental factor. Therefore, public library's color environment of each space functions should be understood and the foundation of color plan enhancing supporting environment of user should also be established under the premise that public library color environment which supports integrated functions to every local residents by meeting functional roles of library. As functions of public library expands, this study has its purpose to analyze color environment characteristics by mainly focusing on library of Busan region to study color environment supporting function of each space. Through a literature research, function and role of color, environment color have considered, and through a preceding research analysis on public library's present condition analysis and tendency of library color preference, theoretical background on library color environment has deducted. By researching present condition of environment color application at 9 public libraries located at Busan, the environment color characteristics of library has deducted through an image adjective analysis using color system, coloration analysis, IRI(Image Research Institute) color image scale. This study can be provided as a reference data for environment color plan based on spatial function to enhance supporting environment of public library user, and it is expected to utilize in the library facility plan which has been diversified.

Aging brings color-weakness to the eye due to yellowed eye sight. The 87% of information required for human behavioral decisions are visually perceived. Therefore, the color-weakness will affect behavior in many ways. Most of previous research regarding color planning for the aged focuses on discovering their preferred colors and reflecting the colors on facility color planning. But such research failed to identify the confused range of color cognitions due to the color weakness of the aged. The purpose of this study is to propose a design guide for fee-charging residential facilities for the elderly, reflecting upon color perception characteristics. An experimental simulation on aged vision using the UV filter and Y-2 filter, YA-3 filter alternating for general eyesight, 70 year-old and late 80 year-old was conducted. The results of this study are as follow : color perception is changed by crystalline lens aging process and yellowed eye sight. The recognition arrangement of colors was preferred to contrast harmony rather than similarity harmony and the dominant color is a warm color rather than a cool color.

The purpose of this study is to research the similarity and difference of color application in culture of Korea and China. The subject of this research is the costume color of Changgeuk and Beijing opera. First, a bibliographical inquiry includes the attributes of cultural color in Korea and China and the costume attributes of Changgeuk and Beijing opera. Second, this survey analyzes Munsell's 3 attributes(Hue, Value, Chroma), tone by extracted color data. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The cultural color factors of Korea and China are classified geographical factor, internal cultural factor and external cultural factor. 2. Changgeuk costume much more used high value and medium & low chroma for korean temperate climate. But Beijing opera costume prefers high-medium value and low chroma color, various ranges of color because of China huge land and various climates, as geographical factor. 3. Changgeuk costume much more used YR color(no-dyeing color) because of korean white robe preference. Beijing opera costume much more used R color than Changgeuk costume because of traditional preference of R color, as infernal cultural factor. 4. Changgeuk costume and Beijing opera costume show the practical use of ascetic cole. like as jade green. Ojungsaek much less used than Obangsaek by the theory of exponents of the five elements doctrine, as external cultural factor.
