The recent medical education paradigm shift from teacher-centered to student-centered education, has led to a concentration on students' performance and competency. This means that a physician should be able to provide adequate health care in any real medical treatment situation. In order to reflect such a paradigm shift, The Catholic University of Korea School of Medicine launched a new curriculum in 2009 that emphasizes students' performance and competency-based education, known as "outcome-based education." In outcome-based education, the educational process is determined by the desired outcome, signifying the detailed competency that a graduating student should have. Thus, in outcome-based education, we should first determine the competency that results from adequate training and education, followed by specific teaching and learning strategies, methods, and assessment. This paper reviews how The Catholic University School of Medicine developed its new curriculum according to the development steps of outcome-based education.

Software education is inevitable for the success of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and university education also requires innovation to cope with revolutionary change of the society. The number of students seeking employment in the IT field is steadily increasing regardless of the major of the student. However, the existing software-related courses offered by universities or private educational institutions are limited. This paper analyzes the existing software curriculum of several major universities for non-IT major students. In addition, in-depth surveys by students at Seoul Theological University is conducted to figure out the demand for the advanced level computer science subjects. Finally, new software education curriculum is proposed to fulfill the needs of non-IT major students and to improve the employment rate of non-IT major students seeking tech companies. The new curriculum will help to cultivate intermediate level IT experts that bridge the gap between advanced level IT experts and primitive level computer technicians.

이 연구에서는 사례연구를 통해 중등 예비과학교사의 교육과정 설계에서 교육과정 자료의 활용 방식을 조사하였다. 서울 소재 사범대학에 재학 중인 두 명의 예비과학교사가 연구에 참여하였다. 교수학습관에 대한 사전면담을 실시한 후, 교육실습 기간 동안 이루어진 각 예비교사의 수업을 관찰하였고, 모든 교수학습자료를 수집하였으며, 수업 실행 전후에 반구조화된 면담을 진행하였다. 예비교사들의 교육과정 자료의 활용 방식을 읽기, 평가, 응용의 측면에서 체계적으로 분석한 결과, 두 예비교사의 교육과정 설계에서 교육과정 자료의 활용 방식에 상당한 차이가 있었다. 교육과정 자료에 대한 읽기의 방식에 차이가 있었는데, 이는 두 예비교사의 교육과정 재구성에 대한 관점의 차이로부터 비롯되었다. 교육과정 재구성에 대한 관점의 차이는 교육과정 자료의 응용 방식에도 영향을 미쳐서 교육과정 재구성에 대해 적극적인 관점을 지닌 경우 '구성요소 추가'가, 소극적인 관점을 지닌 경우 '구성요소 변형'이 중요한 응용 방식이었다. 또한, 예비교사의 교수학습관에 따라 교육과정 자료를 평가하는 과정에서 학습자를 고려하는 수준에 차이가 있었다. 평가에서의 이러한 차이는 '교사중심활동의 증가'와 '학생중심활동의 증가' 응용에서의 질적인 차이로 연결되었다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of critical thinking disposition of nursing students and the factors influencing critical thinking disposition. Method: The subjects were 406 nursing students attending at one university who have been taught by the integrated nursing curriculum. Data was collected by a self-administered questionnaire from Nov. 11, 2007 to Nov. 30, 2007. The survey tool developed by Yoon(2004) was used. Data was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and Scheffe test using SPSS Win 12.0. Result: The mean score of critical thinking disposition was 3.57. The sub scales of critical thinking disposition were statistically significant in regard to grade, age and character of subjects. Overall mean score of critical thinking disposition and its sub scales were statistically significant according to the degree of satisfactory of majoring nursing, reason of choosing nursing as a major and satisfaction on integrated nursing curriculum. Conclusion: Critical thinking ability is very important in various nursing situations. Integrated nursing curriculum was developed to improve critical thinking ability of nursing students. It is recommended that evaluation on the goal attainment of the integrated nursing curriculum needs to be monitored continuously.

In the field of animation, as technology advances, production technology, production methods, and production culture are also steadily developing. The demand for content is increasing rapidly around the OTT platform, and the demand for animation content and diversity is increasing. With these market changes, animation creation ability is becoming a more important animation education goal. There is also a need to innovate educational methods to provide students with the skills and knowledge required in the modern animation business. This paper investigated the composition of the educational curriculum of domestic and foreign animation universities education. It examines artificial intelligence (AI) technology that can be used in animation creation and explores the design and direction of the university animation curriculum using it. AI technology has already proven its potential in various areas, and it is integrated into the animation curriculum to present various development potentials. Using AI technology, students can focus on practical and essential animation education by preventing technical difficulties in animation creation, increase their experience in animation production, and experiment with planning and producing various contents. It is proposed to design an educational curriculum that further strengthens animation creation and production capabilities by forming smart animation classes to foster talents who can lead the future animation industry in a new direction.

This study conducted a survey of 330 students participating in the extracurricular curriculum program at K University in Chungcheongbuk-do to analyze the impact of extracurricular satisfaction and career decision self-efficacy on career preparation behavior. The main results and implications are as follows. First, the positive perception of participation in extracurricular curriculum programs had a significant impact on career preparation behavior. Second, high career decision self-efficacy was related to active career preparation behavior. It is necessary to provide continuous career program support, provide counseling tailored to the needs of each student, and establish a systematic career diagnosis system. This study is limited to extracurricular curriculum program participants and has limitations in generalization. Comparative and analytical research is needed by measuring the performance of various educational programs conducted in universities. It is necessary to support the development and operation of various extracurricular curriculum programs that reflect the needs of society and students and to prepare continuous quality management measures.

This review article provides the trend of current nursing curriculum of todays in Korea and its perspectives. This article reviewed 5 aspects of the current nursing curriculum for the undergraduate program, those are the (1)educational philosophy and believes (2)the nursing concepts revealed in the current nursing curriculum (3)the educational goals and objectives (4)the framework of nursing curriculum (5)the syllabus and credit hours. The common nursing concepts in the current nursing curriculum are Nursing, Human being, Environment/society, Health, Nursing science. The examplary vertical concepts composing of the current nursing curriculum are nursing process, life styles and the horizontal concepts are client, health promotion /recovery /maintenance, leadership, and research. The common subjects composing of the nursing syllabus are the introductory subjects(nursing history, nursing professionalism, foundamental nursing), and the supportive subjects (communication, human relationship, human growth and development, health education, etc) and nursing research, the intrductory basic sciences (anatomy, physiology etc.), and the major nursing subjects (adult nursing, child nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatric nursng, community nursing, nursing administration.) In order to have more advanced nursing education, the suggestions were provided as follows : (1) It is necessary to have revision and evaluation of the process and the structure of the current nursing curriculum periodically. (2) The concept of health promotion for all human being should be integrated into the nursing curriculum. (3) The nursing education program should be unified into baccalauliate level to get one type of nurse-registration system. (4) The nursing courses will need to provide the necessary contemporary Informations to allow the nurses to fuction efficiently in this rapidly changing era. (5) The use of new technology in nursing education is necessary to expand nursing education more.

In order to improve this, Korean universities should reorganize their curriculum such as job system research and job - based program development according to the demand of industry in order to improve their working ability due to the decrease of the school - age population and the youth unemployment rate. In this study, first, conceptualization of friendly education and definition of industry - university cooperation and analysis of cases related to friendly - educational cooperation between industry and academia, second, analysis of fusion healing majors in Healing Bio - I want to conduct research. Konkuk University Healing Bioresource College conducted a survey based on demand such as experts and industry for the development of industry - academic cooperation - friendly curriculum. As a result of this process, I developed a curriculum development committee to study the internal and external environment through the literature survey, focus group interviews, and Delphi research. The purpose of this study is to develop competitiveness curriculum reflecting competitiveness of human resource development in Korea, to develop competitiveness curriculum that reflects customized opinions of societal demand, to organize systematic curriculum to have practical ability, to strengthen the employment link through development of curriculum in accordance with the direction of human resources development, We will make contribution to build the system of operation from the center to the consumer center, evaluation of the practical ability through the curriculum and the feedback system.

School health promotion is related to reinforce on various roles of school health teachers including health instruction, health services, healthful school living. In this aspects, there would be necessory for qualified continous education proceed to activate roles of school health teachers. So the objectives of this study are first, to develop curriculum framework for inservice training of health school nurses, second, to descrive of curriculum objectives, third, to state of curriculum objectives and learning methods. There were used study methods as literature review, expert conferencing and workshop. Major results are as follows; 1. Curriculum framework for inservice training of health school nurses was constitute of major variables of health care model and direct services role of school health teacher such as health service, health instruction and healthful environment area. 2. The curriculum for health instruction were different from elementary school and middle school. 3. Time distribution for curriculum was composed of that health service is 12hours, health instruction is 96 hours and healthful environment is 12 hours. 4. The learning methods for inservice training were suggested to intensify positive attitude through the discussion and practical exercise. 5. The curriculum objectives were classified by total, area and a course of study and time summary table was suggested. In conclusion, the developed curriculum would be contribute to improve of practical ability for school health teachers. And to increase of inservice training effect, there should be operate in order to participate trainees activately and to be educate concurrently. Also, there are necessary for execute in series of the program such as standized text developing by course, evaluation index developing and instructor education etc.

The goal of this study was to develop a curriculum based on practice and job competency, reflecting opinions on the required job competence of nail practitioners and professionals related to nail beauty. Through in-depth interviews with nail experts, the research focuses on developing nail beauty competency-based curriculum and curriculum profiles that reflect practitioners' needs of job competence in the field. In-depth interviews with 11 field experts and surveys of 154 people were conducted to develop a competency-based curriculum for beginner nail hairdressers. The results of this study show that the existing 38 National Competency Standards (NCS) job competencies were reduced to 21 job competencies. In addition, based on the common opinions of experts who reflect the current trend, two tasks on "eyelashes" and "waxing" were added, and they were modified and supplemented with 23 core competencies. The development of a competency-based curriculum and educational programs for nail beauty was performed based on the requirements of the core competencies investigated and the development of a systematic map for the core competencies of beginner nail technicians and hairdressers. In conclusion, the need for professional education and training for nail hairdressers is growing, and it can be seen that a curriculum building multi-faceted abilities is needed for their qualifications as experts. This study found that it is necessary to develop interpersonal communication skills that include marketing elements other than practical skills such as personality and customer response methods in the nail beauty curriculum.
