The current gas regulations have been reformed into a new technical standards system called as "KGS (Korea Gas Safety) Code" system. Korea Gas Safety Corporation has developed a new framework of technical standards classification method and will manage the new technical standards system in compliance with the mandatory requirements of gas regulations. This study will cover an overall view of the reformation and show "KGS Code" in detail.

Owing to WTO/TBT, Many countries are trying to accord their own various national codes and standards with international standards. Also Korean electric power code is being made consistent with the new standards which include the international standards. The new code will affect the many aspects of building construction. In order to cope with the change of the electric power code, this paper analyzed the trend of the international standard(IEC 60364, IEC 61024) and we think this study will help engineers to understand the international electrical standards.

We assessed the sanitary quality of fish jerky based on domestic standards (Korean FDA, Standards on Quality of Seafood and Seafood Products, KS) and compared the characteristics of fish jerky with those of other commercial animal jerky products. The standards encompassed sensory properties (form, flavor, color, texture, and foreign matter), moisture, and microbial properties (Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus). Based on the standards, some fish jerkies did not meet standards on sensory form (code 5) and color (code 11), moisture content (code 7 and 12), E. coli (code 2, 4, 5, 9, 10 and 14) and S. Aureus (code 5). These results suggest that commercial fish jerky should be monitored and controlled on safety to ensure the distribution of high-quality products.

In this paper, we propose a system that can be used to provide the national standard time for the general public with ease by using the self-implemented independent time-code generator for transmitting standard time information through both the wired and the wireless networks. The newly proposed time code is different from conventional methods in the point that it has a structural advantage of having an ability of obtaining reliable data by repeatedly transmitting the same information. We observe that it is sufficiently possible to transmit the time information with a microsecond level because measurement result shows that the system uncertainty is about few nanosecond of time-error fluctuation through the self characteristic measurement of total system including the time-code generator and decoder system receiving time-information.

국내 건설기준은 설계기준과 시방서로 구성되어 있다. 이는 현재 국토교통전자정보관에서 서비스하고 있지만 DB가 아닌 파일 형식으로 서비스하고 있으며 이력관리 및 참조기능이 미비하는 등 활용성과 범용성이 미흡한 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점은 국가건설기준을 현업에 활용 가능한 파일포맷으로 변환하기 어려우며, 기준간 상호 참조, 제 개정 이력관리 등을 어렵게 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내외 유관 시스템 분석 및 시사점 도출, 현 시스템의 문제점 및 개발방향 제시, 요구기능별 세부 구현방안 제시, 코드 관리시스템 설계 및 구현 등의 절차를 통해 국가건설기준 코드 관리시스템을 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템은 국가건설기준 작성 시스템, 국가건설기준 서비스 시스템, 국가건설기준 정비 업무 시스템, 국가건설기준 포털 부가시스템 등 총 네 개의 세부 시스템으로 구성하였다. 세부 기능으로는 국가건설기준의 표준 포맷으로 변환 기능, 항목별 개정 이력관리 기능, 세부 항목간 참조기능, 기준을 작업 가능한 형태로 변환 기능, 국가건설기준위원회 구성 운영기능, 기타 포털 시스템으로써 갖춰야 할 기능 등 총 20개로 구성하였다. 본 연구의 결과물을 활용한다면 복잡 다양한 국가건설기준의 제 개정 운영 및 이력관리를 용이하게 하여 사용자 편의를 증진시킬 수 있을 것이며, 국가건설기준 제 개정 운영을 효과적으로 지원하여 중복 상충 최소화 등을 통한 수준 높은 국가건설기준을 도출할 것이라 예상된다.

For the fatigue design of offshore structures, it is essential to understand and use the S-N curves specified in various industry standards and codes. This study compared the characteristics of the S-N curves for five major codes. The codes reviewed in this paper were DNV Classification Rules (DNV GL, 2016), ABS Classification Rules (ABS, 2003), British Standards (BSI, 2015), International Welding Association Standards (IIW, 2008), and European Standards (BSI, 2005). Types of stress, such as nominal stress, hot-spot stress, and effective notch stress, were analyzed according to the code. The basic shape of the S-N curve for each code was analyzed. A review of the survival probability of the basic design S-N curve for each code was performed. Finally, the impact on the conservatism of the design was analyzed by comparing the S-N curves of three grades D, E, and F by the five codes. The results presented in this paper are considered to be a good guideline for the fatigue design of offshore structures because the S-N curves of the five most-used codes were analyzed in depth.

The objective of this study is to develop the evaluation checklist in the public interior spaces for the elderly and the Disabled people. The propriety and intensity of three architectural codes and two standards were examined by comparing with each other and the score was made according to the value. Findings revealed that Korean accessibility code had more mandatory items than others. The essential items to the handicapped's behaviour should be preserved, but less important things could be reconsidered. Also Korean code stressed the vertical moving equipments. But Swedish code had obligatory items in fire refugees facilities, and American code emphasized the corridor and sanitary facilities. Therefore, American and Swedish mandatory items and recommendations which were not addressed in Korean code and guidelines should be considered to apply to ours by investigating a user's problems and adaptation. This research can be used as a basic checklist for public spaces by users as well as guidelines of final design.

IMO는 1994년 해양안전 및 해양환경보호를 위해 ISM Code를 채택하였으며, 2002년 12월 선박, 선원, 화물, 항만시설의 안전을 도모하기 위해 ISPS Code를 채택하였다. ISPS Code는 2004년 1월부터 발효되는바, 해운회사 및 항만당국은 본 규정의 시행에 매우 촉박한 상태이다. ISM Code와 ISPS Code는 ISO 9001의 경영시스템 개념에 기초하고 있지만 목적은 다르다. 따라서 이들 세 기준들의 요건들을 비교분석하는 것은 매우 의미가 있을 것이다. 본 고에서는 이들 세 기준들의 배경, 원리, 요건들을 비교분석하고 해운계가 ISPS Code에 적합하게 보안조치를 수립하고 이행하는데 참고가 될 제안을 제시한다.

주요 철골구조체는 일정한 시간동안 내화성능을 발휘하기 위한 내화조치를 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 철골기둥의 내화피복 국내인정 제품의 내화성능을 분석 평가함을 목적으로 한다. 대상제품은 보드피복과 뿜칠피복 두 종류의 제품을 대상으로 하여 샘플연구를 하였다. 국내기준과 유럽기준에 기초하여 제품의 내화성능을 분석하였다. 또한 국내기준을 유럽기준의 성능설계관점에서 분석 고찰하였다. 온도적 측면에서 국내기준의 내화성능은 일반적으로 안전하다고 사료되지만, 재료의 물성치 자료확충, 강재온도 산정방법, 프로필계수, 화재시 내력검증 등의 특성을 반영할 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

Current food-traceability platforms suffer from problems such as inconsistent traceability standards, a lack of public credibility, and slow access to data. In this work, a combined code and identification method was designed that can achieve more secure product traceability using the dual anti-counterfeiting technology of a QR code and a hidden code. When the QR code is blurry, the hidden code can still be used to effectively identify food information. Based on this combined code, a food-safety traceability platform was developed. The platform follows unified encoding standards and provides standardized interfaces. Based on this innovation, the platform not only can serve individual food-traceability systems development, but also connect existing traceability systems. These will help to solve the problems such as non-standard traceability content, inconsistent processes, and incompatible system software. The experimental results show that the combined code has higher accuracy. The food-safety traceability platform based on the combined code improves the safety of the traceability process and the integrity of the traceability information. The innovation of this paper is invoking the combined code united the QR code's rapidity and the hidden code's reliability, developing a platform that uses a unified coding standard and provides a standardized interface to resolve the differences between multi-food-traceability systems. Among similar systems, it is the only one that has been connected to the national QR code identification platform. The project has made profits and has significant economic and social benefits.
