실내 공간정보 활용을 위한 세밀도 모델 (LOD(Level of Detail) Model for Utilization of Indoor Spatial Data)

  • 아날로그 지도에서 디지털 지도로의 지도 패러다임의 변화에 따라 공간정보의 세밀도 개념의 재정의가 필요하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 디지털 지도 환경에서 활용될 수 있는 4차원 실내 세밀도 모델을 정의하였다. 이를 위하여 기존의 세밀도 개념의 한계점을 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 실내공간정보의 위치 정확도 기반의 위치 세밀도(PLOD: Position accuracy Level Of Detail), 형상 표현기반의 기하 세밀도(GLOD: Geometric Level Of Detail), 일반화 기반의 완성도 세밀도(CLOD: Complete Level Of Detail), 주제 정확도 기반의 의미 세밀도(SLOD: Semantic Level Of Detail)의 4가지의 다른 세밀도를 정의하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서 정의한 4가지의 서로다른 세밀도간의 유기적 관계에 대해 설명하고, 이를 통해 실내 공간정보의 세밀도를 4차원으로 표현하는 방법과 적용 방법 및 예시를 보였다. 향후, 본 연구에서 제시한 4차원의 실내공간 세밀도의 효용성과 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 실내 서비스를 위한 세밀도 적용 사례 연구와 지형지물 별 완성도 세밀도와 의미 세밀도를 적용하기 위한 연구가 수행되어야 한다.

Temporal Variation of Air Temperature in Ice-Valley at Milyang in Association with Ice Formation

  • A long-term in situ observation was carried out in the Ice-valley at Milyang in order to explain the factors and processes associated with the summertime ice formation. The variation of temperature inside Ice-valley in relation with ice formation in summer time was found to depend on precipitation rate in spring and cold air sinking in autumn and winter. The rate of temperature rising tends to correspond to sensible heat release depending on the precipitation amount at the freezing location. The reason of the cold air accumulation in a talus in the Ice-valley is the cold air sinking over the surface of talus due to the occurrence of outside clod air mass and the accumulated cold air from autumn to spring flow outside at the bottom of talus. The out-flowing cold air can result in the ice formation in the hot summer.

가상환경구축을 위한 대용량 지형 데이터의 효율적인 렌더링 기법 (Efficient Rendering Method for Constructing Virtual Environment using Large-Scale Terrain Data)

  • 컴퓨터 게임 지리정보시스템(GIS), 가상현실 분야 등에서 환경 표현의 기반이 되는 지형 렌더링 기술은 매우 중요하다. 최근 LIDAR와 같은 3D 스캐닝 기술은 보다 정밀하고 정확한 지형 데이터를 제공한다. 하지만, 실시간 렌더링을 위해 사용되는 대부분의 방법들이 DEM이나 DTED와 같은 정규격자(uniform grid) 데이터에 최적화 되어 있기 때문에, LIDAR 데이터와 같은 비정규 데이터에는 적합하지 않다. 또한 방대한 LIDAR 데이터는 일반 PC에서 처리가 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 대용량 비정규 데이터에서의 빠르고 효율적인 렌더링 방법을 제안한다. 샘플 데이터의 공간적 분포에 따라 정규격자를 생성하고, 이 격자에 맞도록 LIDAR 데이터를 재샘플링(resampling)하여 DTED와 같은 형태로 변환한다. 기하 재구성된 데이터에 연속적인 상세단계(CLOD)기반의 쿼드트리 알고리듬을 적용하여 지형을 효율적으로 렌더링한다.

  • In clod weather regions, a strong seasonal wind brings sea salts to the land. In addition to it, recently, the spreading amount of de-icing salts has increased numerously for the purpose of removing snow and ice. Thus the salts environment around concrete structures becomes so severe that various damages of concrete due to applied salts will be brought up. It is briskly carried out study on effects of do-icing salts on concrete in America, Japan, European countries. However, there are not test method for the deterioration of concrete subjected to both freezing-thawing and chloride attack in Korea. In this study, we conduct on test for the compound deterioration subjected to both freezing-thawing and chloride attack, in order to investigate effects of de-icing salts on the deterioration of concrete.

고속전차선로 유리애자 현장 적합성 기반 구축 연구 (Base data establishment of suitability for Toughened Glass Stem Insulator applied in the high speed catenary system)

  • The Operation of high speed train in year 2004 bring about a great change in railroad industry. Especially in railroad construction field we have acquired great Know-how. And up to now we are building up operation skills. But the high speed train system are totally imported, so it is necessary to investigate some of the equipment based on our own environment. In case of Toughened Glass Stem Insulator, we don't have any application case in domestic and limited in abroad. So there must be some characteristic estimation. This paper introduces estimation methode in three different field. First electrical field, Second physical field and finally environment circumstance. In Electrical field, amplitude and number of time for abnormal peak voltage data are collected. And in physical field case, amplitude and trend of vibration in to the insulator are examined. And I circumstance case, possibility of flying gravel and ice clod are investigated. Through this basic data, suitability for Toughened Glass Stem Insulator using in domestic will be accumulated and estimated.

  • Various environmental problems due to the rapid industralization and urbanization have been worsened as much as to threaten the environmental restitution of globe and become a critical international issue. Korean government presented the green growth as a new state vision for 60 years afterwards and is making efforts to solve the environmental problems. Daegu metropolitan city has faced various environmental problems including overpopulation of cities, traffic pollution, household wastes and green zone problem because of urbanization for the last decades. As such urbanism continues, the quality of residential environment is rapidly deteriorating and the intensive use of land leads to increase of building area raising the temperature of cities. Therefore there have been demands for the healthy, pleasant and satisfying residential environment and the improvement of residential environment and such recognition rises from society in full measure. Nevertheless the current residential complex concentrates only on raising the efficiency of land use. Related laws in the past(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) tried to prepare a standard to segmentalize the building-to-land ratio, floor area ratio and regulations of number of floors vertically, but currently it is abolished and the regulations are becoming eased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the floating wind before and after the vertical segmentation of residential areas(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) by using KLAM_21, a model that enables analysing and predicting the flow and generation of clod wind, and to present a plan to improve the quality of residential areas afterwards when developing building lot and re-developing housing areas.

  • For this study, we developed clothing in which textile materials that were excellent weather control function for the cold environment and we performed the human subject test with developed clothing to determine the thermal comfort. We used 2 clothing samples developed (A and B, hollow yarn+moisture absorption/quick drying yarn, 3 layers, high stretchable, heat reflection film and lamination treated) and a control sample (Ctrl.) for the human subject test and 8 adult males were used as a human subjects and environmental conditions of chamber were $0{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. $50{\pm}5%RH$, 0.3m/sec. The results were as follows: The average skin temperature and hand, thigh temperature of B were higher than B and Ctrl. (p<.05). The micro-climates of B were near to thermal comfort range which is $32{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and $50{\pm}10%\;RH$. The chest temperature of B was significantly higher than others (p<.05). The relative humidity of B was lower than others and kept stable rather than others. The thermal sensation of B was near the "neutral" and was significantly different from Ctrl. (p<.01) and the weight loss of B was lower than Ctrl. (p<.05). The counting task and hand temperature was positively related and the counting task value of B and A is bigger than Ctrl. and that of A was bigger than Ctrl. (p<.05).

천연가스 개조 승용차에 대한 실험적 연구(1) - 연비, 배기 및 주행 성능 (Experimental Study on Natural Gas Conversion Vehicle(1) - Fuel Economy, Emission and Roadability)

  • In this study, the roadability, fuel economy and emission characteristics were evaluated for a natural gas converted vehicle. The results are as follows; Not only the shortage of power was observed in stall test, but also large deterioration of acceleration performance was exposed in roadability. Compared to the original LPG system, the acceleration is 76% in start acceleration and 45 ~ 65% in overtaking acceleration, especially the decline became larger when air conditioner is at work. Furthermore, because the mapping data, which controls the injection depending on driving condition, do not match up with injection system, the failure of air-fuel ratio feedback control occurs resulting from the large gap between the required and the really supplied amount of fuel. This failure cause the exhaust gas to emit without catalytic conversion and the fuel economy based on the fuel heat value to get worse 22% in the mode test and 16% in road test respectively. In addition, the existing injection system does not secure enough fuel at the starting so that it may lead to the fail of clod start, the deterioration of hot start and inharmonic of engine at the idle after start.
