환경문제의 위해도 인식과 위해도 홍보 프로그램의 효과분석 -라돈과 다이옥신을 중심으로- (A Study on Risk Communication and Risk Perception in Environmental Problems)

  • Risk communication can be defined as the exchange of information about the nature, magnitude, significance, acceptability, and management of risk. The effect of risk communication on the perception and knowledge towards risk of environmental pollutants and it's related factors were investigated in this study. To investigate perception and knowledge of students and teachers towards risk of environmental pollutants, we conducted the survey using self-administrated questionnaire. The subjects were 574 for the first survey and 465 for the seconds survey from May to June, 2000. The main methods of transmission used in this study- through video tape, visual materials, question and answer, and participation in measuring pollutants - were not a one - way street. But an interactive process where information and opinions were exchanged among individuals, groups, and institutions. Environmental pollutants measured with participation of study subjects was Radon in the class room. The concentration of Radon was measured using E -PERM Device by installing it at each site for about 5 days. Subjects showed much interest in environmental pollution. Also, more than 98% of total subjects were perceived as Korea is seriously contaminated at present. By risk communication activity, risk perception of all subjects about Radon was increased, on the other hand, risk perception of Dioxin was decreased except for elementary student. Moreover, knowledge of all subjects about environmental risk was significantly increased (p =0.0001) and effort of reducing environmental pollution was more increased (p<0.05). There is need to further develop, refine, and integrate these approaches environmental risk communication study, there is an even more pressing need to accelerate the diffusion of environmental risk communication practice into government and organizations.

각종 첨가제가 지오폴리머 반응된 석탄회의 압축강도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Additives on the Compressive Strength of Geopolymerized Fly Ash)

  • Geopolymer cements and geopolymer resins are newly advanced mineral binders that are used in order to reduce the carbon dioxide generation that accompanies cement production. The effect of additives on the compressive strength of geopolymerized class-F fly ash was investigated. Blast furnace slag, calcium hydroxide($Ca(OH)_2$), and silica fume powders were added to fly ash. A geopolymeric reaction was initiated by adding a solution of water glass and sodium hydroxide(NaOH) to the powder mixtures. The compressive strength of pure fly ash cured at room temperature for 28 days was found to be as low as 291 $kgf/cm^{-2}$, which was not a suitable value for use in engineering materials. On the contrary, addition of 20 wt% and 40 wt% of blast furnace slag powders to fly ash increased the compressive strength to 458 $kgf/cm^{-2}$ and 750 $kgf/cm^{-2}$, respectively. 5 wt% addition of $Ca(OH)_2$ increased the compressive strength up to 640 $kgf/cm^{-2}$; further addition of $Ca(OH)_2$ further increased the compressive strength. When 2 wt% of silica fume was added, the compressive strength increased to 577 $kgf/cm^{-2}$; the maximum strength was obtained at 6 wt% addition of silica fume. It was confirmed that the addition of CaO and $SiO_2$ to the fly ash powders was effective at increasing the compressive strength of geopolymerized fly ash.

유리섬유 / 탄소섬유 강화 비대칭 하이브리드 복합재료의 스프링 백 (Spring-back in GFR / CFR Unsymmetric Hybrid Composite Materials)

  • 섬유강화 복합재료는 우수한 기계적, 전자기적 물성 등으로 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 열경화성 복합재는 제작공정에서의 성형온도와 제품의 운용온도인 상온간의 온도차이로 형상의 변형(스프링 백)이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 스프링 백은 하이브리드 구조의 정밀한 형상 제작을 위해서 반드시 보정되어야할 부분이다. 본 연구에서는 유리섬유/에폭시 복합재와 카본섬유/에폭시 복합재로 구성된 비대칭 하이브리드 복합재를 경화사이클, 적층두께, 적층방법 등 다양한 조건을 적용하여 제작하고 3차원 좌표측정기를 이용하여 스프링 백을 측정하였다. 또한 고전 적층판 이론(CLT)과 유한요소해석(ANSYS)으로 스프링백을 예측하고 실험결과와 비교하였다. 고전 적층판 이론과 유한요소해석으로 예측된 스프링 백은 실험 결과와 잘 일치하였으며, 성형온도가 낮을수록 스프링 백이 감소되는 경향을 보임을 확인하였으나 근원적으로 스프링 백이 제거되지는 않았다.

임대주택 커뮤니티시설의 거주자 이용현황 및 개선 요구 (Resident's Usage and needs for the improvement of Community Facilities in Public Rental Apartments)

  • Nowadays, public rental apartments' community facilities emphasize only their quantity aspect without considering residents' characteristics, leading their installation regulations to be based on only the number of households, which is problematic. As a result, in many cases, residents, after moving in, alter the facility usage or remodel the facilities for their use. Hereby, this study conducted focus group interviews with public rental apartments' residents as to find out space conditions of and improvement demands for the community facilities. Two public rental apartment complexes in Seoul and Gyeongi-do which were built after 2007 were selected for this study. As for the survey method, workshop panel was employed. Four people in each age class of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors were formed into one group, and a total of 40 people in 10 groups were surveyed. The survey was continuously conducted from February to March in 2009. The study findings can be summarized as follows. 1) Among community facilities, there were more satisfactory outdoor facilities than satisfactory indoor facilities. Residents expressed satisfaction with the facilities linked with natural environment. The causes of unsatisfactory facilities were mostly poor management. 2) The facilities demanded by the residents included ones relevant to study, exercise, and hobbies. As public rental apartments are resided mostly by low-income families, study and hobby activities bring them cost problems. Therefore, it is needed that the apartment complexes support diverse such activities 3) As for facilities demanded for usage alteration, a residents' meeting room accounted for the most popular opinions. As it was used only once a week, its usage was very low. It should be opened to the residents and allowed to be used in various ways. 4) As for demands of changing spatial characteristics, outdoor exercise facilities accounted for the most opinions. Although they were installed in most cases, they were damaged and poorly managed, therefore being in need of improvement in operation and management. In order to maximally utilize public rental apartments' community facilities, facility planning in consideration of various age groups from residents' viewpoint and sustainable systematic management are required.

  • This research was carried out to investigate the optimal conditions ssociated with the RIA procedures such as a bridging phenomena, prozone effects and a new separation methods etc. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. The lgG fractions of donkey anti-rabbit IgG sera were purified by Protein-A-Sepharose affinity column, which indicates that Protein-A an affinity for IgG class of donkey antiserum. 2. In coating the IgG fraction on polystryene tubes, incubation conditions made no differences between 2 hr at room temperature and overnight at 4$^{\circ}C$. 3. There were no significant differences between 1st antibody-coated tube and 2nd antibody-coated tube as a separation method when compared in terms of reproducbility. A better reproducibility may be expected if the titers of 1st antibody for the progesterone to be assayed and of corresponding 2nd antibody are reasonably high. 4. The titers of anti-progesterone antibody for 3H-progesterone and progesterone-11HS-125I were 1:300 and 1:700 in liquid-phase, and 1:100 and 1:300 in solid-phse for the separation methods. 5. A bridging phenomena in which a standard curve is long and shallow were observed when progesterone-11HS-125I was used for the tracer, but not in 3H-progesterone. 6. A prozone effect in a solid-phase system, especially 1st antibody-coated tube method was observed which the degree of inhibition was significantly different although zero bindings look the same. In this case, the titration curve should be made both in the absence and in the presence of a, pp.opriate amount of competiter, standard, respectively.

전기로를 이용한 Si || SiO2/Si3N4 || Si 이종기판쌍의 직접접합 (Direct Bonding of Si || SiO2/Si3N4 || Si Wafer Pairs With a Furnace)

  • We investigated the possibility of direct bonding of the Si ∥SiO$_2$/Si$_3$N$_4$∥Si wafers for Oxide-Nitride-Oxide(ONO) gate oxide applications. 10cm-diameter 2000$\AA$-thick thermal oxide/Si(100) and 500$\AA$-Si$_3$N$_4$LPCVD/Si (100) wafers were prepared, and wet cleaned to activate the surface as hydrophilic and hydrophobic states, respectively. Cleaned wafers were premated wish facing the mirror planes by a specially designed aligner in class-100 clean room immediately. Premated wafer pairs were annealed by an electric furnace at the temperatures of 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 120$0^{\circ}C$ for 2hours, respectively. Direct bonded wafer pairs were characterized the bond area with a infrared(IR) analyzer, and measured the bonding interface energy by a razor blade crack opening method. We confirmed that the bond interface energy became 2,344mJ/$\m^2$ when annealing temperature reached 100$0^{\circ}C$, which were comparable with the interface energy of homeogenous wafer pairs of Si/Si.

섬진강 상류 지역의 민가건축에 관한 연구 -평명유형을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics of the Folk Houses in the Upper Area of Seomjin River -focused on the generating housing floor plans-)

  • This study aims to find the characteristics of the folk houses in the upper area of Seomjin river in the view point of generating housing floor plans by their human and natural elements of environment. Because they are formed differently as them and have the characteristics as the houses in the upper area of Seomjin river. Seomjin river flows from mid-west area of the Korean peninsula to the southern sea. This is about 212.3km long and the fourth in the south of the Korean peninsula. It is surrounded high mountains in the upper area and makes open field in the mid and lower area of river. The study is surveyed and analyzed to the folk houses of the middle and lower class people in the area of Seomjin river. Because they have been formed by their natural and human elements of environment gradually. They are 35 houses - 13 in Jinan-kun, 4 in Imsil-kun, 10 in Namwon city, 10 in Sunchang-kun. They are analyzed by their floor plans and their spatial relations. The result of this study is that they are made by their natural and human elements of environment. There are some houses with semi-several wings and with storage that are appeared in the mountain village. It reflects that they are surrounded by high mountains. And there are some houses with wooden floor room that are appeared in the area of river little in the area of mountain. To prevent wind from the river the houses are layouted as a form . open ㄴ type, open ㄷ type, and their wall is made of stone and planted bamboo trees around their houses.

원룸형 다가구주택 거주자의 주거선택 중요도와 주거만족도 - 광주광역시를 중심으로 - (Priority of Residential Choice and Housing Satisfaction among Studio-type Multi-family Housing Dwellers in the City of Gwangju)

  • The purpose of this study is to gather baseline data on perceived priority of residential choice and housing satisfaction rates among consumers with the aim of using this information for future planning. Self-administered questionnaires were provided to 196 studio-type multi-family housing dwellers in the City of Gwangju from 2009 Apri 5th to 29th. The collected data was used to conduct comparative and descriptive statistical analysis: factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis. The main findings obtained are as follows: Firstly, in relation to perceived priority of residential choice, dwellers identified seven factors as important. Secondly, in terms of housing satisfaction about a unit room, the respondents identified five factors as important. This study confirmed that there existed passive correlation between priority of residential choice and housing satisfaction among residents in studio-type multi-family housings in Gwangju. It is very necessary to project a studio-type multi-family housing close to transportation for easy access, avoiding commercial districts. Delicate interior and design will attract more female residents as well as fully-equipped parking lots for people who drive to their workplace. According to research on a degree of housing satisfaction, all respondents expressed dissatisfaction with "noise". Therefore, in dealing with construction plans of studio apartment units, from now on, sound proofing facilities are required to reduce the acoustic invasion of privacy, especially, for units with more than two people. In order to satisfy all the demand of residents in studio apartment units, we have to pursue systematic and succeeding research about a studio-type multi-family housing well-fitted for the actual circumstances of local area and suitable for longer stay. To sum up, more research and development will be required for high-class studio-type multiplex housing for sale in dealing with households with financial stability such as two-paycheck couples, so-called DINK, or a professional single person, in the future.

도시형생활주택의 공급현황 및 거주특성 연구 - 서울시 공급사례를 중심으로 - (A Study of Supply Patterns and Residential Characteristics of Urban-type Housing in Seoul)

  • This study investigates supply patterns and residential characteristics of the Urban-type Housing in Seoul. There have been 3,336 buildings and 71,790 housing units approved until the end of 2012. One-room apartments and small units less than 30 $m^2$ of residential area amount to 81% and 82% of total units, respectively. Major findings are as follows. First, single- and two-person households less than 30 years of age are mostly lived in the housing. Respondents are mainly professional and white-collar (43%) and service and sales workers (27%). Most of them are mid-income classes (67%), which is twice more than that of single- and two-person households in Seoul. They pay 672 thousand won in rent more than average rent of mid-income class. The rent to income ratios are 29.9% for single households and 24.5% for two-person households, which are higher than that of mid-income bracket. Third, their satisfaction level is relatively high in internal environment and access to public service facilities, but not in external environment and community service facilities. They are satisfied with security and daylight, walking and safety, access to public transport and parking space, but not with noise and vibration, natural environment, access to park and cultural and sports facilities, and most community service facilities. It is necessary to reexamine the articles of deregulation and prepare design standards while considering different housing and locational types.

초등학교 보건교사의 보건교육 실태 (Status of Health Education by Elementary School Nurses)

  • Objectives: To investigate the status of health education in elementary schools. Methods: 620 school nurses were surveyed by questionnaires from September to December in 2003. Results: 1) Among the school nurses under inquiry of planning of health education, 3.3% and 9.3% of them did not prepare for teaching plan. 2) The average time for health education by a school nurse was 96.8 hours a year, and handouts for health education were distributed 10.6 times. Among the contents of health education, sex education took the largest portion of health education with 24.6 hours a year. 3) With regard to the contents of health education covered by school nurses, sex education ranked first with 90.2%, next came drug abuse with 78.4%, dental health, CDC, disease control, healthy life and smoking, body structure and function and growth and development safety, alcohol, nutrition and environmental health followed them. 4) The main contents of education were CDC, dental health sex, healthy life and disease control for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students, sex, CDC, disease control and safety for 4th grade students, and sex, CDC, drug abuse and smoking for 5th and 6th grade students. 5) 72.6% of school nurses used class room for health education, 20.0% and 7.4% of them used grade and others such as broadcast, respectively. 6) 42.1% of school nurses used blackboard, 37.0% and 18.6% of them used visual media and handout as a teaching aids for health education. 7) 31.6% of school nurses replied that education time was insufficient 9.5% and 15.9% of them replied the contents of health education were inadequate and methods of health education were inappropriate, respectively. Conclusions: For the successful school health education, it would be in need of sufficient time for health education by opening health education course and of modify the various working conditions of school nurses, and those of effective educational materials and media for health education.
