Purpose: This study aimed to elucidate the prevalence of breast feeding and maternal psychosocial predictors affecting the breast feeding practice at six months postpartum. Method: One hundred and sixty one mothers at six months postpartum were conveniently recruited in two public health center in Jeju-city. Subjects completed a well-structured questionnaire regarding the feeding types of the child, maternal self-esteem, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), husband support, and marital adjustment scale. The data was analyzed using the $X^2-test$, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and logistic regression. Result: The prevalence of breast feeding at six months postpartum was 29.9%. Predictors of breast feeding practice identified by the logistic regression analysis include first feeding type after delivery, marital adjustment, readiness for maternal role and work state. Conclusion: The prevalence of breast feeding practice was lower than WHO desired at six months postpartum. Therefore, the findings support the need for breast feeding education including interventions focused on improving readiness for maternal role and marital adjustment.

A strategic planning to attain a Marine Logistic Transportation Center on the Far-Eastern Pacific is investigated and is being reviewed at the NTRM Vision IV. Utilizing high speed super-sized container carriers, 15,000TEU and 35knots, between the two hub-ports, a western coast city of the United States and Kwangyang/Busan of South Korea, are motivated by now highly successful shipbuilding and maritime industries. SMART, 330MW thermal power plant under planning, will greatly expedite the transfer of cargoes across the Pacific. A sizable effort is required to achieve the goal, but the reward will also be very great, technically, economically, socially and geo-politically.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to find out the prevalence of constipation, related factors of constipation of female high school students. Methods: The study subjects were 322 students of Y high schools located in a Suwon city, who were selected by the accidental sampling from November 2009. We analyzed the data by frequency analysis, Chi-square test, Logistic regression analysis using SPSS ver.12.0. Results: The results of this study were summarized as follows: A prevalence rate of self-reported constipation was 55.3%. From the Logistic analysis by self-reported method, leading causes of constipation on the students were drinking beverage, the less frequency of having meals, irregular time of having meals, not eating breakfast, insufficient exercise and not evacuating the bowels regularly. Conclusions: Based on these results, intervention to increase the amount of beverage constipation, intake of vegetable, regularity of taking meals, stress management should be provided to prevent the constipation.

The study of home injury and injury prevention has been a neglected area of research and practice. This study has the following purposes: 1) to describe the pattern of home injuries; 2) to analyze the differences in injuries by social characteristics; and 3) to compare the impact of safety structure and action. The data were collected by person-to-person interviews with 450 residents living in Wonju area. The statistical methods used for the analysis were $\chi$2-test and multiple logistic regression. The results are as follows: 1) Whether or not a certain injury has occurred varies by household type. The elderly household reported more injuries than other types of household. 2) Using logistic regression method, we found that safety-related behavioral habit was statistically significant in predicting injury occurrence. However, residence type was not a statistically significant variable. This indicates that cognitive change strategy is more important than structural change strategy.

본 연구는 물류정책기본법에서 제시된 변화특성들을 먼저 세부적으로 검토하였으며, 또한 기존 도시물류기본계획의 사례를 통해 한계와 문제점을 파악하고 더 나아가 인천과 같은 임항형 도시이며 수도권지역에 위치한 도쿄시의 사례를 통해 인천시 도시물류기본계획의 정책방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 결과를 요약하면 아래와 같다. 첫째, 도시물류기본계획에서의 물류조사는 계획적이고도 중 장기적인 차원에서 이루어져야 할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 중소기업 내지는 3자물류 기업을 활용한 물류계획을 통해 생활환경을 개선하고 부가가치를 창출할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 도시물류기본계획상에서 최소한 중복 투자가 우려되는 물류계획분야에서 만큼은 인천, 경기, 서울간에 서로 상호간의 협의를 통해 공동조사 및 계획이 이루어질 수 있도록 추진하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 넷째, 인천시에서도 기업의 환경친화적인 물류활동에 대한 직접적인 행정적 재정적 지원을 할 필요가 있을 것이다. 마지막으로, 도시물류기본계획 수립시 인천지역 현실과 상황에 맞는 목표의 설정과 이를 실현하기 위한 추진계획, 그리고 이 추진계획들을 평가할 수 있는 평가 지표를 설정하여, 개선정도를 파악할 수 있는 피드백 체계가 구축되어야 할 것이다.

Purpose: This study was to identify the important factors for predicting blood donation behavior of medical & nursing college students. Methods: To analyze these issues using logistic regression, we collected data from 230 nursing & medical students of D University in B city by using the self-administered questionnaire from December 12 to December 21, 2004. Knowledge for blood donation was measured by the questionnaire developed by Koo(1982), self efficacy was assessed by General Self Efficacy Scale (Sherer & Maddux, 1982), and altruistic attitude was measured by Altruistic motivation & Responsibility Scale(Jo, 1996). The collected data were analyzed by t-test, Chi -square, and logistic regression by using SPSS/Win 11.0 version. Results: As results of logistic regression analysis, factors which showed significance for predicting blood donation behavior were the perceived health status, family member's experience for the blood donation, religion and gender. Conclusion: It is necessary to improve the perceived health status of college students and to conduct a campaign for blood donation around college students whose family members have had the experience of blood donation in order to increase the rate of blood donation in medical and nursing college students.

고령화 시대에 따라 고령운전자 역시 증가하고 있으며, 이들에 의한 교통사고 심각성에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 고령운전자에 의한 사고심각도 예측 모형의 필요성이 점차 요구됨에 따라, 본 연구에서는 기계학습 기법을 활용하여 고령운전자에 의한 차대사람 사고심각도 예측을 위한 모형 정립 및 분석을 수행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 4개의 기계학습 알고리즘 (Logistic Model, KNN, RF, SVM)을 활용, 예측 모형을 개발하고 각 결과를 비교하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 Logistic과 SVM 모형이 상대적으로 높은 예측력을 보였으며, 정확도 측면에서는 RF가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로 각 중요 변수들을 이용하여 교차분석을 수행한 후 그 결과를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과들은 고령화시대에 고령운전자에 의한 사고심각성을 예방하기 위한 안전정책 및 인프라 개발에 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

This study aims to identify the decision-making factors of people who have returned to rural areas for farming and residence according to personal characteristics and regions. The survey was conducted on 420 return farmers of six cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-Do from September 1st to October 11th 2013. For data analysis, researchers used 280 answered sheets and utilized two-way ANOVA and multinomial logistic regression analysis. Research results indicate three factors of returning to farm which are pull to rural area, push from city, and policy factor. The highest scores of factor is pull to rural area (2.93), the second one is push from city (2.31), and the lowest score is politic factor (2.18). In addition, these three factors of returning to farm are elucidated by environmental variable, economic variable, and information and opportunity provided by government. In other words, the factor of pull to rural area is related environmental variable and the factor of push from city is affected by economic variable. Lastly, politic factor pertains to information and opportunity provided by government.

부산은 세계 3위의 최대 컨테이너 항만시설과 물류시스템을 갖추고 있는 해양도시이지만, 부산시민의 해양의식은 이에 미치지 못하고 있다. 이에 부산지역 해양교육의 현황을 분석하여, 부산지역 해양교육의 문제점을 분석하고 이를 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 부산시가 해양도시로써 명성을 이어가고 건전한 친수문화의 조성과 해양문화를 널리 전파할 수 있을 것이다.
