예비보육교사의 실습 경험에 관한 과정 분석 (A Process Analysis on the Experiences of Preliminary Child Care Teachers in Child Care Practice)

  • 본 연구는 예비보육교사의 보육실습에 대한 심도 깊은 연구를 위해 질적연구방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 첫째, 실습 전 예비보육교사는 자신이 이중역할을 수행할 것으로 인식하였다. 실습지도교사와 불평등한 수직적 관계를 이루고, 아동에게는 교사와 친구의 중간자이며, 시설장은 중재자, 실습 동료는 동반자로 인식하였다. 둘째, 실습 중 예비보육교사는 삼중 역할을 수행하였으며, 실습지도교사는 보육인 양성가로서의 역할수행을 한 것으로 나타났다. 예비보육교사는 실습지도교사와 상부상조적인 상호작용, 아동에게는 교사와 친구의 중간자, 시설장은 중요한 지지자, 실습동료와 불편한 경쟁자로서의 관계를 이루고 있다. 셋째, 실습 후 예비보육교사는 만족감과 아쉬움을 가지고 있었으며, 교육과정에서 이론과 실습의 균형을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 보육실습에 실습의 주체가 되는 예비보육교사 보육실습 요구를 파악함으로써 보육실습의 질 향상을 위한 개선 방향을 제시하는 것에 의의가 있다.

보육실습 관련 변인이 예비보육교사의 진로 결정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Childcare Practice Related Variables on Career Decision Making)

  • Objective: This study aims to identify career decisions based on the variables associated with child care practice and to identify how each factor in the child care teacher's career decisions affects the prospective child care teacher's career decisions affects the prospective child care teacher's career decisions, and to what extent they are able to explain their career decisions to the prospective child care teacher. Methods: Data were analyzed through partial correlation and hierarchical regression. Results: Both the institutional and school variables involved in child care practices were found to have significant static implications for career decisions. The relative explanatory power of these variables has been shown to be significant in practical satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: The results of the study that the practical satisfaction level, which is the institutional variable related to child care practice, significantly affects the career decisions of prospective child care teachers, recognize the importance of the child care practice in practical institutions where prospective child care teachers practice and suggest appropriate child care practice based on their understanding of the trainee.

보육교사적성이 보육실습 스트레스 대처에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Aptitude of Child Care Teachers of Child Care Trainees on the Stress Coping)

  • 본 연구는 최근 보육교사에 대한 자질 및 적성이 재논의 되고 보육실습생의 실습관련도 재평가의 필요성이 제기됨에 따라 보육실습생의 보육교사적성이 보육실습스트레스 및 스트레스대처에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 보육실습생 268명을 대상으로 자료를 수집한 결과, 첫째, 보육실습스트레스와 스트레스대처는 학년에 따른 차이만 보였다. 둘째, 보육교사적성의 하위변인 중 영유아에 대한 친화력이 낮을수록 어린이집원장 및 지도교사와의 관계에서 스트레스가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사적성 하위요인 가운데 창의성과 자기개발, 적극성, 긍정성이 높을수록 보육실습스트레스에 잘 대처하는 것으로 나타났다.

보육교사에 대한 보건소 중심의 영유아 안전관리 교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Community Based Child Safety Education Program for Child Care Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an education program promoting attitude, knowledge, and practice of safety for teachers in child care centers. Method: This education was provided at one public health center in Kyunggi Province. One group pretest-post test design was used, and knowledge on safety and emergency care, practice of safety, health belief and self confidence on safety practice were assessed from 74 teachers. Theoretical framework for this program was Pender's health promotion model. Result: After two hours group education session on safety management, knowledge on safety and emergency care was significantly increased and perception on the main cause of injuries was significantly changed. Practice on safety was significantly related to the knowledge, health belief and confidence on safety, and social support. Conclusion: The education program for teachers in child care centers regarding the child safety and emergency care was effective in promoting knowledge and perception on the main cause of injuries of infants.

실습일지에 나타난 예비유아교사의 교육실습 및 보육실습 내용 분석 (An Analysis of the Contents of Pre-Service Early Childhood Teacher's Practicum Experience in Kindergartens and Child Care Centers Shown in Practice Teaching Journals)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the contents of pre-service early childhood teacher's practicum experience in kindergartens and child care centers through the analysis of practice teaching journals. The subjects of this study were a total 52 practice teaching journals of 26 pre-service early childhood teachers who completed their practicum in kindergartens and child care centers. This study analyzed the type of teaching practice management, the type of activities, and the contents of journal writings. The findings are as follows; First, pre-service teachers experienced a similar ratio of the type of teaching practice management in both types of teaching practice. Second, pre-service teachers performed more group activities in practicum in kindergartens, but more choice activities in practicum in child care centers. Third, the journal writing contents of pre-service teachers in both types of teaching practice mainly addressed the operating of educational and child care activities, and the execution of observing young children. But some categories of teacher's competency were hardly addressed. The results of this study could be used as basic data for designing early childhood practicum programs.

보육시설 아동의 건강과 안전에 대한 보육교사의 지식, 자신감, 실천 (Knowledge, Self-confidence and Practice of Teachers Concerning Health and Safety of Children in Child-Daycare Centers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of health and safety programs by examining child-care teacher's knowledge, self-confidence and practice concerning the health and safety of children under their care. Method: The participants were 72 teachers from 15 child care centers in Seoul City and Chung-Nam Province. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS 12.0 Win program. Results: The mean score for self-confidence was lower than knowledge and practice. Self-confidence score about emergency care for falls, fractures and resuscitation were lowest. For safety knowledge, scores about facility and environment were lowest. For health knowledge, scores about disease and symptoms were lowest. For practice, scores about seat belts and safe furniture arrangement were lowest. Significant correlations were found between practice and self-confidence. There were significant differences in the degree of knowledge according to education, and in practice according to age. Conclusions: Health and safety education programs for child care teachers are necessary for the promotion of knowledge, self-confidence and practice in health and safety. The results suggest that health and safety education program should be provided systematically and continuously for child care teachers.

보육실습이 예비보육교사의 보육효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Practice on Student Teachers' Perceived Efficacy for Child Care and Teaching)

  • This study investigated the effects of Child Care and Teaching(CCT) practice on student teachers'(N=361) perceived Efficacy for Child Care an Teaching(ECCT), including relationships between ECCT and generalized self-efficacy. Instruments were the ECCT scale, the generalized self-efficacy scale, and self-evaluation concerning CCT. Research design consisted of pre-test, CCT practices. and post-test. Results showed that ECCT scores increased after CCT practice: ECCT was related with generalized self-efficacy and to self-evaluation concerning CCT. These findings suggested that CCT experience is important to student teachers' perceived ECCT, and ECCT, in turn, is a predictor of actual CCT behavior.

보육교사의 안전에 대한 태도, 지식, 실천 및 관련요인 (Attitude, Knowledge, and Practice of Safety and Related Factors of Teachers in Child Care Centers)

  • Purpose: To investigate the attitude, knowledge, and practice of safety and related factors of teachers in child care centers. Methods: The total sample consisted of 116 teachers from child care centers in Kyunggi Province. A questionnaire and checklist were used to collect data, which was analyzed with SPSS 11.5 Win program. Results: Most of the teachers were anxious about child accidents, and thought of safety as a primary concern. The mean score for knowledge on safety was 10.23, and the rate of correct answers ranged from 34.8% to 98.3%. The mean score on practice of safety was 42.01. Teachers with higher education showed significantly higher scores in safety efficacy. Teacher's knowledge on safety was significantly different depending on the experience of safety education, but this did not apply to safety practice. Safety practice was significantly related to confidence in safety performance, health beliefs on safety, stress, and social support, but not related to knowledge of safety. Conclusion: Psychosocial factors were found to be important in safety practice. Related factors found in this study should be considered when providing safety programs for child care centers.

보육교사 자격제도 변화에 따른 보육실습 관련 연구동향 분석 (Analysis of Research Trends Related to Child Care Practice by Changing the Qualifications of Child Care Teachers)

  • 본 연구에서는 2000년부터 2018년까지 국내 학술지에 게재되었거나 학위논문으로 출간된 보육실습 관련 학술연구의 연구동향을 살펴보기 위해 보육교사 자격제도 변화를 기준으로 시기를 구분하였다. 2000년부터 2018년까지 국내 보육실습 관련 연구 총 136편을 분석대상으로 선정하고, SPSS Win 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율, 카이스퀘어 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 보육실습 관련 논문의 연평균 편수를 비교해본 결과 2014~2018년 기간이 11.4편으로 가장 많았다. 다음으로 연구유형은 연구시기에 따라 최근일수록 양적연구는 감소한 반면, 질적연구는 증가한 것으로 나타났고, 예비보육교사를 연구대상으로 한 연구의 비율이 가장 높았다. 또한, 질문지법 연구는 감소하고 면접법 연구는 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 주제어의 경향을 살펴본 결과, 보육실습, 예비보육교사, 예비유아교사 등의 주제어가 중요한 주제어로 제시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 보육교사 자격제도의 변화가 전문성 강화 차원에서 앞으로도 강조될 것이므로 보육실습 관련 연구 동향과 내용을 분석하여 보육실습의 중요성을 제시해주었다는 점에서 의의를 가지며, 보육실습 관련 후속연구에서 추가적인 연구가 필요한 영아 보육실습과 같은 세부 연구주제 탐색에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는 역할을 담당할 것으로 예측된다.

어린이집의 급.간식 관련 친환경 실천 연구 (A Study of Eco-friendly Practices Regarding Meals and Snacks at Early Childhood Care and Education Centers)

  • 본 연구는 어린이집의 급 간식 관련 친환경 실천에 대해 어린이집의 원장, 보육교사, 취사부의 실천정도가 어떠하며, 어린이집과 보육교직원 변인에 따른 차이가 있는지 조사하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 연구자는 Boise(2010)의 친환경개념을 적용하여 급 간식의 친환경의 개념을 재 정의하여 보육교직원의 실천정도를 알아볼 수 있는 질문지를 개발하였으며, 서울과 경기지역 소재 어린이집 200개소에 근무하는 원장118명, 보육교사 363명, 취사부 102명 총 583명의 질문지 응답을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어린이집의 급 간식 관련 친환경 실천정도는 안전성, 기능성, 지속가능성 세 영역의 모든 영역에서 취사부의 실천정도가 가장 높게 나타났고, 다음으로 원장, 보육교사 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교직원들의 급 간식 관련 친환경 실천정도는 어린이집의 유형, 규모, 직급에 따라 차이가 있었으나 보육교직원의 경력에 따른 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.
