  • When an integrated communication system is congested, we may reserve some spaces for non-realtime traffic by discarding a part of realtime traffic. That is sensible because realtime traffic is insensitive to a few losses. Several discarding schemes have been developed including Separate Queue (SQ). Under such schemes, the block loss distribution, i.e., the distribution of the number of losses within a given block which consists of successive data of a type, is important. We derive the block loss distribution of the SQ scheme and modifies the SQ scheme with a threshold.

  • In this paper, we propose the single polycrystalline silicon flash EEPROM IC with a new structure which does not need the high voltage switching circuit. The design of high voltage switching circuits which are needed for the data program and erase, has been an obstacle to develop the single-poly EEPROM. Therefore, we has proposed the new cell structure which uses the low voltage switching circuits and has designed the full chip. A new single-poly EEPROM cell is designed and the full chip including the control block, the analog block, row decoder block, and the datapath block is designed. And the each block is verified by using the computer simulation. In addition, the full chip layout is performed.

OLED 박막 증착공정에서 유도로 내부의 분자유동 해석 (Simulation of Molecular Flows Inside a Guide Block in the OLED Deposition Process)

  • Molecular flows inside a guide block in the OLED(organic luminescent emitting device) deposition process have been simulated using DSMC(direct simulation Monte Carlo) method. Because the organic materials are evaporated under vacuum, molecules flow at a high Knudsen number of the free molecular regime, where the continuum mechanics is not valid. A guide block is designed as a part of the linear cell source to transport the evaporated materials to a deposition chamber, When solving the flows, the inlet boundary condition is proved to affect significantly the whole flow pattern. Thus, it is proposed that the pressure should be specified at the inlet. From the analysis of the density distributions at the nozzle exit of the guide block, it is shown that the longer nozzle can emit molecules more straightly. Finally, a nondimensionalized mass flow profile is obtained by numerical experiments, where various nozzle widths and inlet pressures are tested.

  • 본 논문에서는 생명체의 구조를 모방하여, 디지털시스템에서 자가검출과 자가치유가 가능한 구조를 제안한다. 자가치유시스템은 인공 셀의 2차 배열과 여분의 인공 셀로 구성된다. 인공 셀은 멀티플렉서를 기본으로 한 로직블록(logic block)과 로직블록을 제어하기 위한 게놈블록(genome block)으로 구성된다. 인공 셀은 자가검출이 가능하도록 DCVSL (differential cascode voltage switch logic)구조로 설계된다. 만약 인공 셀에서 고장이 발생하면, 자가 검출되고 고장 난 인공 셀이 속한 열은 bypass기능만을 가지고 치유를 위해, 여분 셀과 이웃 셀을 이용하여 시스템을 재구성한다. 하이닉스 $0.35{\mu}m$공정을 이용해 $1.14{\times}0.99mm^2$의 코어면적을 가지는 2비트 업다운카운터를 제작하였고 회로시뮬레이션과 칩 테스트를 통해 검증하였다.

고분자연료전지용 설폰산화 폴리아릴렌에테르설폰 멀티블록공중합체의 합성 및 특성 분석 (Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfonated Poly (Arylene ether Sulfone) Multi-Block Copolymer for PEMFC Application)

  • Multi-block sulfonated poly (arylene ether sulfone) (SPES) membranes were synthesized by post-sulfonation and its properties characterized. Two types of oligomers, F-terminated and OH-terminated telechelic oligomers, were synthesized by controlling the feed ratio of dihydroxyl- and difluoro-monomers. Their number of repeating unit (X and Y) was analyzed by GPC and $^1H$ NMR. Copolymerization with F-terminated and OH-terminated telechelic oligomers via nucleophilic aromatic substitution, gave high-molecular-weight multi-block PESs. Each block length was controlled to have different values with X5Y10, X10Y10, X20Y10 and X20Y20. Successful polymerization and its successful sulfonation was confirmed by GPC and $^1H$ NMR. RH dependence of proton conductivity of multi-block SPES membranes was comparable to that of Nafion 212 at high RH conditions.

모형실험을 통한 타이셀소파블록 구조체의 수평저항력 평가 (Evaluation of Lateral Resistance for Tie-cell Wave-dissipating Block by Model Experiments)

  • 최근에는 블록식 방파제의 단점을 보완하고 경제적인 설계가 가능한 타이셀소파블록에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 타이셀소파블록은 각 블록을 말뚝으로 결속한 구조체로 활동저항성이 매우 우수한 특징을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실내모형실험을 통해 말뚝의 관입으로 인한 타이셀소파블록의 수평저항력 증가를 명확하게 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 말뚝의 수평저항력은 블록의 상재하중에 상관없이 거의 일정하게 나타났다. 말뚝이 분담하는 수평저항력은 블록과 블록사이의 마찰이 담당하는 수평저항력 증감에 따라 변화하였다. 말뚝을 두개 관입시킨 실험에서는 싱글말뚝을 사용한 경우 보다 전반적으로 수평저항력이 크게 나타났으나 말뚝의 저항 거동은 다르게 나타났다.

밀폐된 공간 내 공랭식 PEMFC의 자연대류 열전달에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Natural Convection Heat Transfer of Air-cooling PEMFC in a Enclosure)

  • This study presents an experiment investigation on natural convection heat transfer of air-cooling Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) in a enclosure system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Considered are replacing fuel cell stack with Aluminum block for heat generating inside a enclosure chamber. The volume ratio of fuel cell stack and chamber for simulation to the actual size of aerial vehicle is 1 to 15. The parameters considered for experimental study are the environmental temperature range from $25^{\circ}C$ to $-60^{\circ}C$ and the block heat input of 10 W, 20 W and 30 W. Effect of the thermal conductivity of the block and power level on heat transfer in the chamber are investigated. Experimental results illustrate the temperature rise at various locations inside the chamber as dependent upon heat input of fuel cell stack and environmental temperature. From the results, dimensionless correlation in natural convection was proposed with Nusselt number and Rayleigh number for designing air-cooling PEMFC powered high altitude long endurance (HALE) UAV.

블록형 Ni-Cr-Al 분말 다공성 소재의 미세조직 및 인장 변형 거동 (Microstructure and Tensile Deformation Behavior of Ni-Cr-Al Powder Porous Block Material)

  • This study investigated the microstructure and tensile properties of a recently made block-type Ni-Cr-Al powder porous material. The block-type powder porous material was made by stacking multiple layers of powder porous thin plates with post-processing such as additional compression and sintering. This study used block-type powder porous materials with two different cell sizes: one with an average cell size of $1,200{\mu}m$ (1200 foam) and the other with an average cell size of $3,000{\mu}m$ (3000 foam). The ${\gamma}$-Ni and ${\gamma}^{\prime}-Ni_3Al$ were identified as the main phases of both materials. However, in the case of the 1,200 foam, a ${\beta}$-NiAl phase was additionally observed. The relative density of each block-type powder porous material, with 1200 foam and 3000 foam, was measured to be 5.78% and 2.93%, respectively. Tensile tests were conducted with strain rates of $10^{-2}{\sim}10^{-4}sec^{-1}$. The test result showed that the tensile strength of the 1,200 foam was 6.0~7.1 MPa, and that of 3,000 foam was 3.0~3.3 MPa. The elongation of the 3,000 foam was higher (~9%) than that (~2%) of the 1,200 foam. This study also discussed the deformation behavior of block-type powder porous material through observations of the fracture surface, with the results above.

생쥐 2-세포기 배아에서 성숙유도물질의 기능적 역할 (The Functional Role of Maturation Promoting Factor in the Two-cell Embryos)

  • A possible involvement of maturation promoting factor (nfPF) in the two-cell block phenomenon was studied by fusion experiments. Germinal vesicle (GlF) ooeyte was fused with a blastomore from late or blocked 2-cell mouse embryos. and germinal vesicle breakdoum (GVBD) of fused GV oocvtes in the presence of dbcAMP (100$\mu$g/ml) was scored as an index of MPF aniviD. GnD was induced approximately 30% by fusion of a blastomere derived from late 2-cell embryos, but not from blocked 2-cell embryos. The rate of GVBD was changed when GV oocyte was fused with a blastomere from late 2-cell embryos which were treated with u-amanitin, puromvcin or colcemid before and after hsion: Treatment of late 2-cell embryos with puromycin (50 Is/mll but not with u-amanitin (100 Is/ml) clearly inhibited GVBD, indicating that do novo protein synthesis maw be required for the appearance of MPF activity in late 2-cell embryos. Treatment of late 2-cell embryos w기h colcemid (0.1 Is/mll doubled GVBD, presumably due to the maintenance of metaphase or mitotic phase. SDS-PAGE and twoiimensional electrophoresis revealed that there was no difference in protein synthetic pattern in late and blocked 2-cell embryos, but three phosphoproteins with 27, 35 and 46 M)a, presumsblv M-phase components were phosphorylated in late 2-cell embryos but not in blocked 2-cell embryos. It seems then that MPF activity is closely related to phosphorylstion of M-phase components in late 2-cell embryos.

Conduction Block of the Primary Afferent Fibers by Topically Applied Allyl Isotheocyanate

  • The present study was undertaken to elucidate the desensitization of cutaneous receptors and the conduction block of the afferent nerves induced by direct application of allyl isotheocyanate (mustard oil) to the receptive field (RF) or onto the afferent nerve, respectively. Dorsal horn cell responses to mechanical stimulations of RF were completely suppressed when mustard oil was applied to either the afferent nerve or the whole area of RF. C-fiber responses of dorsal horn cells were more susceptive to mustard oil than A-fiber activities. This was confirmed by the experiment in which the compound action potentials recorded from rat tibial nerve before and after topical application of mustard oil were compared. The higher the concentration of mustard oil and the longer the application time, the more powerful desensitization or conduction block was induced. From the results of the present study, it is suggested that the desensitization of the afferent fiber and sensory receptors induced by mustard oil results mainly from the conduction block of C-fiber in the primary afferent nerve.
