간호대학생의 감성지능, 대인관계유능성이 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nursing Students' Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal Competence on Caring Efficacy)

  • Purpose : This study investigated the effects of nursing students' emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence on their caring efficacy. Methods : This study surveyed 217 junior and senior nursing students from City B in South Korea between June 1 and June 30, 2023. The SPSS 22.0 program was employed to analyze the collected data by computing the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as by conducting t-test, ANOVA test, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and a multivariate regression analysis. Results : The nursing students exhibited an average emotional intelligence of 5.31±.78, interpersonal competence of 3.47±.56, and caring efficacy of 4.02±.62. The students' emotional intelligence showed significant differences in terms of satisfaction with their major (p<.001), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p<.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.001), and the standard of living (p=.021). Furthermore, a significant difference in interpersonal competence was observed in terms of the students' satisfaction with their major (p=.003), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p=.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.002), and subjective mental health (p=.005). Meanwhile caring efficacy demonstrated a significant difference with regard to the grade level (p=.001), satisfaction with the major (p<.001), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p<.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.007), subjective mental health (p<.001), and subjective physical health (p=.047). The factors that affected the caring efficacy included interpersonal competence (p=.002), grade level (p<.001), satisfaction with the major (p=.004), and emotional intelligence (p=.020), all of which together accounted for an explanatory power of 22.3 %. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is evident that further research related to the emotional intelligence, interpersonal competence, and caring efficacy of nursing students must be encouraged in the future. Furthermore efforts should be made to develop appropriate programs aimed at enhancing nursing students' caring efficacy by accounting for their emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence.

융합 시대의 임상실습 교육환경, 임상실습관련 무력감, 현장실습적응, 간호전문직관이 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Clinical Learning Environment, Clinical Practice Powerlessness, Field Practice Adaptation, and Nursing Professionalism on Caring Efficacy in Convergence Era)

  • 본 연구는 간호학과 4학년을 대상으로 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. G도 J대학 간호학과 173명을 자료수집 하였다. IBM SPSS WIN/25.0을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Multiple regression을 사용하였다. 돌봄효능감은 임상실습 교육환경(r=.42, p<.001), 현장실습적응(r=.53, p<.001), 간호전문직관(r=.42, p<.001)과 상관관계, 임상실습관련 무력감(r=-46, p<.001)과 역상관관계가 있었다. 대상자의 돌봄효능감에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인은 현장실습적응(β=.330, p<.001), 그 다음으로, 간호전문직관(β=.188, p=.005), 임상실습 교육환경(β=.176, p=.015), 내성적(β=-.146, p=.018), 외향적(β=.134, p=.035) 순이었다. 설명력은 41.8%이었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 돌봄효능감 향상을 위한 체계적인 간호교육 프로그램이 필요하며, 돌봄효능감 프로그램 개발에 도움이 되는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

보육교사의 가족-교사 간 의사소통이 교사의 심리적 소진과 교사효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Communication between Child-caring Teachers and Parents on Teacher's Burn-out and Efficacy)

  • 본 연구에서는 가족-보육교사 간 의사소통, 심리적 소진 그리고 교사 효능감과의 인과관계를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 165명의 보육교사를 조사대상으로 하였으며, Likert 5점 척도로 구성한 측정도구를 이용한 설문조사 결과는 통계분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하였으며, 통계적 유의성은 유의수준 5% 수준에서 검증하였다. 본 연구로부터 도출된 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아 가족-보육교사 간 의사소통은 교사의 심리적 소진에 부(-)적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 보육교사의 심리적 소진은 교사의 효능감에 부(-)적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 가족-보육교사 간 의사소통은 교사의 효능감에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 보육교사의 심리적 소진은 가족-보육교사 간 의사소통이 교사의 효능감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 유의한 매개효과가 나타난다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사의 효능감을 저하시킬 수 있는 부정적 요인인 심리적 소진을 완화하기 위해서 영유아 가족-보육교사 간 원만한 의사소통의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

동료지도학습법이 간호대학생의 동료돌봄행위, 대인관계유능성 및 학업적자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Peer Tutoring on Nursing Students' Peer Group Caring Interaction, Interpersonal Competence, and Academic Self-Efficacy)

  • Purpose : This study aims to identify the effects of peer tutoring on the peer group caring interaction, interpersonal competence, and academic self-efficacy of nursing college students and to use them for practical education. Methods : The participants comprised 33 nursing students who lived in Gyeong-nam Province. Data were collected from February 1 to May 1, 2019. The PGCIS -K Questionnaire, Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire, and Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed by average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and Wilcoxon signed rank test using SPSS version 23.0. Results : A significant difference was found in the data obtained from the Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (z=-2.13, p<.03) but not from the PGCIS-K Questionnaire of the research subjects who participated in peer tutoring (z=-.89, p<.37) and from the Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire (z=-.78, p<.43). Furthermore, their interpersonal competence significantly increased after the peer tutoring program. Conclusion : This study developed a peer tutoring program for nursing students and applied it to basic nursing practice classes to verify its effect on peer group caring interaction, interpersonal competence, and academic self-efficacy. The subjects improved their peer group caring interaction and interpersonal competence through peer tutoring. Peer tutoring also showed an effect on interpersonal competence.

장애아동 건강증진을 위한 어머니의 돌봄 행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Mothers' Caring Behavior in Health Promotion of Children with Disabilities)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the factors associated with a mothers' caring behavior in health promotion of children with disabilities. Methods: Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires from 371 mothers who had a 3-12 year old child with a disability from July 14 to 31, 2008. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: There were significant differences on the mothers' caring behavior according to children's negative and hyperactive behavior, mothers' perceived burden, parenting efficacy, and social support. Children's characteristics explained 5.1% of mothers' caring behavior. The power of explanation ($R^2$) was 16.6% by adding mother's characteristics including mother's job, burden, parenting efficacy, satisfaction and stigma, and increased to 23.5% by adding social support. Conclusion: These results showed that mothers' caring behavior for their children's health promotion could be influenced by children's behavior problems, mothers' perception of burden, parenting efficacy, and social support. It suggests that health promotion programs for children with disabilities should focus on lowering subjective burden and enhancing mother's efficacy as a type of social support.

장애아동 어머니의 돌봄 행위 구조모형 (A Structural Model of Caring Behavior of Mothers of Disabled Children)

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a model which explains factors influencing caring behavior of mothers who have children with disabilities, and to verify the appropriateness of the model and the relationship among variables. Methods: The participants in the research were the mothers who had a 3 to 12 yr-old children with disabilities. The data were collected from 451 mothers through self-reported questionnaires from July 14 to 31, 2008. A total of the 371 data sets were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 11.5 and AMOS 5.0 version. Results: The children's behavior characteristics, social support, objective burden and parenting self-esteem had an impact on the mothers' caring behavior. Especially, parenting self-esteem including parenting satisfaction and self-efficacy was the most influential factor. These variables explained 77% of the mothers' caring behavior for these children. Conclusion: The results suggest that some strategies for promoting mothers' parenting self-esteem focused on parenting satisfaction and self-efficacy should be developed in order to help mothers in caring for their child who is disabled.

간호대학생의 공감능력과 돌봄효능감의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 대인관계유능성의 매개효과 (The mediating effects of social support and interpersonal competence on the relationship between empathy and caring efficiency in nursing students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate interpersonal competence and social support and their mediating effects on the relationship between caring efficacy and empathy in nursing students. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted from February 5 to February 12, 2019, from 254 students enrolled in the Department of Nursing in Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongbuk-do. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: As a result of verifying the mediating effects of social support and interpersonal competence on the relationship between the empathy ability and caring efficacy of nursing college students, it was found that social support and interpersonal competence partially mediated the relationship between the two variables (Z=1.68, p=.046). Conclusion: Through this study, a theoretical basis was provided that when applied to an educational program could improve nursing students' caring efficacy. Content that can improve not only empathy but also social support and interpersonal competence should be included.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지능, 도덕적 민감성의 정도를 알아보고, 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도하였다. 자료수집은 2021년 1월 14일부터 23일까지 일개 도에 위치한 3개 간호대학에서 1학년부터 4학년 143명을 대상으로 온라인수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0을 활용하여, 서술통계, 독립 t검정, ANOVA 및 Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression을 사용하였다. 연구결과로 감성지능은 돌봄효능감의 영향요인으로 확인되었으며, 구체적으로 감성활용(p=.005), 감성조절(p=.027), 타인감성인식(p=.037)이 영향을 주었으며 설명력은 26.2%이었다. 따라서 간호대학생의 돌봄효능감을 높이기 위해서는 간호대학생 개인의 감성지능을 향상 시킬 수 있는 간호교육 및 교과의 콘텐츠 개발 필요성이 요구된다.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 공감 능력과 돌봄 효능감의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 매개효과를 파악하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상자는 국내 K시와 E군에 소재한 대학의 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호대학생 175명으로 자기기입식 온라인 설문조사를 통해 자료수집을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0을 이용하여 기술통계와 t-test, ANOVA(사후분석 scheffe), Pearson correlation coefficient, 회귀분석을 하였으며 매개효과 검증을 위해 Sobel test를 하였다. 연구 결과, 간호대학생의 공감 능력과 간호전문직관, 돌봄 효능감은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였으며 공감 능력과 돌봄 효능감의 관계에서 간호전문직관은 완전 매개효과를 나타냈다. 이는 간호대학생의 돌봄 효능감을 높이기 위하여 공감 능력을 증진하는 것도 중요하지만, 간호전문직관 향상을 위한 간호교육도 중요함을 시사한다.

만성질환 노인 가족수발자의 노인이미지, 자아효능감 및 부담감과의 관계 (Elder Image, Self-Efficacy and Burden among Family Caregivers Caring for Elders with Chronic Disease)

  • Purpose: The principal objective of this study was to identify correlations among elder image, self-efficacy and burden among family caregivers caring for elders with chronic disease. Methods: A total of 187 primary family caregivers caring for frail elders over 65 years of age participated in this study. The data were collected using the Elder Image Scale (EIS), the Self-Efficacy Scale (SES), and the Burden Scale (BS). Correlational analysis was utilized to determine the relationship between EIS, SES, and BS. Results: EIS scores and SES scores were correlated at r=-.188(p=.010), indicating a significant negative relationship between elder image and self-efficacy. SES scores were negatively correlated with the BS scores (r=-.328, p=.000). EIS scores were correlated significantly with BS scores (r=.298, p=.000). Conclusion: These findings support the assertion that perceptions of elders and belief about caregivers themselves are associated with burden.
