  • The design techniques of an asymmetric TEM (ATEM) cell for calibrating E/H filed probes are presented in this paper. The authors describe the techniques to obtain not only the arbitrary frequency and second resonant frequency, but also the test space with $\pm$2dB filed uniformity. We could design an ATEM cell that the measured data, electric filed distribution inside the cell, impedance matching and resonant frequencies, agree with the calculated results.

  • The scanning electron microscope (SEM) offers two-dimensional (2D) micrographs of three-dimensional (3D) objects due to its inherent operating mechanisms. To overcome this limitation, other devices have been used for quantitative morphological analysis. Many efforts have been made on the applications of software-based approaches to 3D reconstruction and measurements by SEM. Based on the acquisition of two stereo images, a multi-view technique consists of two parts: (i) geometric calibration and (ii) image matching. Quantitative morphological parameters such as height and depth could be nondestructively measured by SEM combined with special software programs. It is also possible to obtain conventional surface parameters such as roughness and volume of biomedical specimens through 3D SEM surface reconstruction. There is growing evidence that conventional 2D SEM without special electron detectors can be transformed to 3D SEM for quantitative measurements in biomedical research.

  • The performances of the newly constructed Stereoscopic PTV and Stereoscopic PIV which had been completed based on a 3D-PTV principle are tested using the Standard Images. Virtual images were produced for the benchmark tests of the constructed two Stereoscopic techniques. The arrangement of the two cameras was based on angular position. The calibration of cameras and the pair-matching of the three-dimensional velocity vectors were based on Genetic Algorithm based 3D-PTV technique. The Standard data of LES are on the impinged jet proposed by VSJ. It is shown that the results obtained by Stereoscopic PTV have better reliability than those by Stereoscopic PTV.

  • A new high-definition stereoscopic PTV was constructed using two CCD cameras, stereoscopic photogrammetry based on a 30-PTV principle. The arrangement of the two cameras was based on angular position. The calibration of cameras and the pair-matching of the three-dimensional velocity vectors were based on Genetic Algorithm based 30-PTV technique. The constructed Stereoscopic PTV technique was tested on the standard images of the Impinging jet proposed by VSJ. The results on the turbulent properties of the jet obtained by the constructed system showed a good agreement with the original LES data.

  • This paper presents a wafer pre-alignment system which is improved using the image of the entire wafer area. In the previous method, image acquisition for wafer takes about 80% of total pre-alignment time. The proposed system uses only one image of entire wafer area via a high-resolution CMOS camera, and so image acquisition accounts for nearly 1% of total process time. The larger FOV(field of view) to use the image of the entire wafer area worsen camera lens distortion. A camera calibration using high order polynomials is used for accurate lens distortion correction. And template matching is used to find a correct notch's position. The performance of the proposed system was demonstrated by experiments of wafer center alignment and notch alignment.

  • Recently, due to the large-scale damage of natural disasters caused by global climate change, a monitoring system applying remote sensing technology is being constructed in disaster areas. Among remote sensing platforms, the drone has been actively used in the private sector due to recent technological developments, and has been applied in the disaster areas owing to advantages such as timeliness and economical efficiency. This paper deals with the development of a preprocessing system that can map the drone image data in a near-real time manner as a basis for constructing the disaster monitoring system using the drones. For the research purpose, our system is based on the SURF algorithm which is one of the computer vision technologies. This system aims to performs the desired correction through the feature point matching technique between reference images and shot images. The study area is selected as the lower part of the Gahwa River and the Daecheong dam basin. The former area has many characteristic points for matching whereas the latter area has a relatively low number of difference, so it is possible to effectively test whether the system can be applied in various environments. The results show that the accuracy of the geometric correction is 0.6m and 1.7m respectively, in both areas, and the processing time is about 30 seconds per 1 scene. This indicates that the applicability of this study may be high in disaster areas requiring timeliness. However, in case of no reference image or low-level accuracy, the results entail the limit of the decreased calibration.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the quality and characteristics of matching DEMs by using KOMPSAT-3 stereo pair capture in in-track and cross-track. For this purpose, two stereo pairs of KOMPSAT-3 were collected that were taken in the same area. The two stereo pairs have similar stereo geometry elements such as B/H, convergence angle. Sensor modeling for DEM production was performed with RFM affine calibration using multiple GCPs. The GCPs used in the study were extracted from the 0.25 m ortho-image and 5 meter DEM provided by NGII. In addition, matching DEMs were produced at the same resolution as the reference DEMs for a comparison analysis. As a result of the experiment, the horizontal and vertical errors at the CPs indicated an accuracy of 1 to 3 pixels. In addition, the shapes and accuracy of two DEMs produced in areas where the effects of natural or artificial surface land were low were almost similar.

  • Augmented Reality is a growing area in virtual reality research, The world environment around us provides a wealth of information that is difficult to duplicate in a computer. This evidenced by the worlds used in virtual environments. An augmented reality system generates a composite view for the user. It is a combination of the real scene viewed by the user and a virtual scene generated by the computer that augments the scene with addition information. The registration method represent to the user enhances that person's performance in and perception of the world. It decide the direction and location between real world and 3D graphic objects. The registration method devide two method, Model based tracking and Move-Matching. This paper researched at to generate a commerce correlation using a tracking object method, using at a color distribution and information, in the sequence scene.
