Classification of Ontology Integration and Ontology-based Semantic Integration of PLM Object (온톨로지 통합 분류와 온톨로지 기반의 PLM Object 의미적 통합)

  • In this paper, for integrating of data on car parts we model information of parts that PDM system manages. Ontology of car parts applies existing ontology mapping research to integrate into car ontology. We propose a method for semantic integration of PLM object of MEMPHIS based on the integrated ontology. Through our method, we introduce C# ontology model to apply existing C# applications with ontology. We also classify ontology integration into three through examples and explain them. While semantically integrating PLM objects based on the integrated ontology, we explain the need for change of PLM object type and describe the process of change for PLM object type by examples.

Design of Collaborative BOM Management System for Small and Medium Enterprises (중소 제조기업을 위한 협업환경지원 BOM 관리 시스템 설계)

  • Most commercial PDM (product data management) systems, which have been released recently by overseas famous software vendors, are still expensive and heavy to apply to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Proposed in this paper are an architecture and functions of collaborative BOM (bill-of-material) management system (cBOM-MS) which supports the internal BOM management by BOM Navigator, provides SMEs with constructing the collaborative BOM via Collaborative BOM Portal, and proposes an interface to extract BOM automatically from commercial CAD systems. In the design of cBOM-MS, BOM Navigator and cBOM Portal are positioned separately to reinforce the information security about product data during product development process.

Synthesis and Properties of Amphiphilic Polymers Containing Silicone (실리콘을 함유한 양친성 중합체의 합성 및 성질)

  • Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)-co-poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(PHEMA) was prepared and the degree of swelling of solvents into the polymers was examined. It was confirmed that the solubility parameter of PHEMA homopolymer is 26 (J/cm3)1/2. Ethanol was significantly absorbed into copolymers containing large amount of PHEMA, while tetrahydrofuran was effectively absorbed into copolymers containing large amount of PDMS. Absorption of polar solvents into the copolymers were increased with the increase of PDMS content. The model drug, crystal violet (CV), was more absorbable into PDMS-HPEMA copolymers than PHEMA homopolymer. Absorption of CV was decreased with the increase of PDMS content of the copolymers.

  • PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) is one of innovative manufacturing paradigms which leverages e-business technologies to allow a company's product content to be developed and integrated with all company business process through the extended enterprise. In these days, most construction companies also make an effort to enhance their systems for creating, sharing and managing information to improve business efficiency through entire lifecycle of project execution. Because of different needs, business process and diverse engineering activities such as design, structural analysis, installing simulation, documents and data managements, a new paradigm for construction companies is needed to manage and share the entire workflow, and information in total project lifecycle. In this paper, we conducted user requirement and business process analysis of the construction to design architecture of C-PLM(Construction Project Lifecycle management) and implement a prototype of C-PLM systems based on commercial PDM system.

  • The value of XML as electronic documents is increasing nowadays. The XML document has properties of semistructured data. It can be modeled as object-oriented model which can be easily adapted by object-oriented database. For storing XML documents to conventional database system, extracting schema information from the DTD of a XML document has been studied for several years. In this paper we store XML documents into object-oriented database, which preserve the semantics of the documents. We can store and query by OQL and make applications by C++ and make applications by C++ binding which is the access method of object-oriented database. Therefore, existing database applications can be used without modification.

  • The SPM could image the most detailed microstructure of a sample in a wet and dry state by measuring the interaction between the atoms on the sample surface and the extremely sharp probe tip. The refined fibre exhibited large wrinkles formed by fibrillar bundles, the disintegrated fibres extensively showed “scale-like features”. By using the Non-Contact Atomic Force Microscopy (NC-AFM) and Contact Atomic Force Microscopy (C-AFM) including Phase Detection Microscopy (PDM) and Force Modulation Microscopy (FMM), it was possible to investigate surface topography, surface roughness and mechanical property (hardness or visco-elasticity) of fibre surface in detail. The PDM and FMM images showed that the disintegrated only fibre displayed uniform mechanical properties, whereas the refined one did not. The surface roughness of pulp fibres was higher in refined fibres than in disintegrated fibres due to the presence of external fibrils. These SPM images would be used to provide visual evidence of morphological change of a single fibre created during mechanical treatments such as refining, drying, calendering and so on.

  • In the design and development process of Small-Sat power distribution and transmission module, the stability of dynamic resources was evaluated by a deep learning algorithm. The requirements for the stability evaluation consisted of the power distribution function of the power distribution module and demand module to the SAR radar in Small-Sat. To verify the performance of the switching power components constituting the power module PDM, the reliability was verified using a dynamic neural network. The adoption material of deep learning for reliability verification is the power distribution function of the payload to the power supplied from the small satellite main body. Modeling targets for verifying the performance of this function are output voltage (slew rate control), voltage error, and load power characteristics. First, to this end, the Coefficient Structure area was defined by modeling, and PCB modules were fabricated to compare stability and reliability. Second, Levenberg-Marquare based Two-Way NARX neural network Sigmoid Transfer was used as a deep learning algorithm.

  • PDMS와 ITO 유리를 이용하여 continuous-flow PCR chip을 제작하였다. PDMS를 이용하여 microchannel을 형성하여 주었고, ITO electrode를 heater와 sensor로 사용하기 위하여 반도체 공정을 통해 패턴을 형성하였다. microchannel내에 흐르는 시료의 온도를 제어하기 위하여 heater와 sensor를 calibration을 하였다. ITO heater는 인가된 전압에 대해 매우 선형적인 발열을 하였으며, ITO sensor는 온도에 대해 선형적인 저항 변화를 나타낸 바, 그 결과 continuous-flow PCR chip의 정확한 온도 제어가 가능하였다.

Separation of $H_2$ and $N_2$ Gases by PDMS-chitosan Composite Membranes (PDMS-chitosan 복합막에 의한 수소와 질소 기체 분리에 관한 연구)

  • The PDMS-chitosan composite membranes were prepared by addition of 0.02~0.60 wt% chitosan to PDMS. In order to investigate the characteristics of these membranes, we used the analytical methods such as SEM and TGA. Gas permeation experiments was performed in $30^{\circ}C$, $4kg/cm^2$, the permeability and selectivity of $H_2$ and $N_2$ according to content change in composite membrane were investigated. The permeability of $H_2$ and $N_2$ for the PDMS-chitosan composite membranes increased when 0~0.20 wt% chitosan was added, and then decreased at higher wt% as chitosan content increased. The selectivity ($H_2/N_2$) of PDMS-chitosan composite membranes decreased when 0~0.20 wt% chitosan was added, and then increased as chitosan content increased. In the case of PDMS-chitosan in which chitosan was inserted to PDMS, thermal stability of PDMS was enhanced. Based on SEM observation, as the chitosan content within PDMS increased, the surface of the composite membranes became coarse and began to form holes.
