A Study of Evaluation for Service Quality of Korean Restaurant Customers - The Case of Pork-belly Specialty Restaurant- (한식당 이용고객의 서비스품질 평가에 관한 연구 - 삼겹살 전문점을 중심으로 -)

  • Customer needs in food service industry is not only demanding high quality product(food), but also high quality service. Therefore, how to provide high quality service based on customers expectation, and how to design the service systems by food service industry or restaurants are important task. This study is service quality of Korean restaurant customers, it aims analyzes factors influences service quality of food service industry based on the perception of pork-belly specialty restaurants customers. It is expected that there is significant difference according to gender concerning level of satisfaction in service quality of food service industry as a result of analyzing the level of satisfaction for frequency of eating out relatively to the purpose of eating out, and researching the level of satisfaction for service quality of food service industry after visiting the restaurant. Based on such results, solutions that can cope with social, cultural and economical environment of food service industry are suggested. Selection of food service business, samples, and purpose of eating out, which are limits of this study, needs to be studied continuously in the future after diversifying and segmentation.

A study on the BER Performance Improvement by Oversampling of the Transmit Signal Waveform in OFDM (OFDM에서 전송 신호의 oversampling을 통한 BER 성능개선에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose an OFDM scheme to increase the BER performance. The proposed OFDM scheme makes the baseband OFDM signal by using the oversampled OFDM signal values which are obtained by inserting N(=2$\^$k/) zeros and carrying out 2N point IFFT. In the demodulation part, the sampling operation for A/D conversion is carried out with the 2 times high sampling speed. 2 N point FFT is carried out for the data demodulation. In this paper, we show, with the mathematical method and the computer simulation, that the SNR of the proposed OFDM scheme is 3 dB higher than that of the conventional OFDM in the same AWGN channel conditions given.

  • In this work, a manufacturing and structural test of 1kW class horizontal axis wind turbine blade using natural-fiber composite was performed. The aerodynamic design of blade was performed after investigation on design requirement. The structural design load was investigated after aerodynamic design of blade. And also, structural design of blade was carried out. The structural design of blade was carried out using the simplified methods such as the netting rule and the rule of mixture applied to composite. The structural safety of the designed blade structure is investigated through the various load cases, stress, deformation and buckling analyses using the FEM method. Finally, the blade manufacturing and structural test using natural composite was carried out.

Resuscitation Outcomes and Clinical Characteristics of Out-of-Hospital Drug Induced Cardiac Arrest (약물중독에 의한 내원 전 심정지 환자의 특성과 심폐소생술 결과)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the resuscitation outcomes and the clinical characteristics of non-traumatic drug-induced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by analyzing data from a single institution's registry. Method: We conducted a retrospective study of 795 patients who came to the emergency department with non-traumatic drug-induced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest during the period $1991{\~}2004$. Only patients over 18 years of age were included. Clinical characteristics. variables associated with cardiac arrest, and data during resuscitation were obtained from our cardiac arrest database. Patients were divided into two groups: drug-induced cardiac arrest (drug group, n=33), and non drug-induced cardiac arrest (non-drug group, n=762). Results: Spontaneous circulation was restored in 23 ($72{\%}$) patients in the drug group and in 314 ($45{\%}$) patients in the non-drug group ($x^2=0.020$). The patients who discharged alive number were 46 ($6{\%}$) in the non-drug group and 0 ($0{\%}$) in the drug group ($x^2=0.005$). The witnessed arrest, the epinephrine doses, and total defibrillation energy were not different between two groups. Conclusion: The return of spontaneous circulation rate was higher in the drug group than the non-drug group. However the drug group was lower survival discharge rate than in the non-drug group.

Progressive Inelastic Deformation Characteristics of Cylindrical Structure with Plate-to-Shell Junction Under Moving Temperature Front

  • A study on the progressive inelastic deformation behavior of the 316 L stainless steel cylindrical structure with plate-to-shell junction under moving temperature front was carried out by structural test and analysis. The structural test intends to simulate the thermal ratcheting behavior occurring at the reactor baffle of the liquid metal reactor as free surface of hot sodium pool moves up and down under plant transients. The thermal ratchet load that heats the specimen up to 550$^{\circ}C$ was applied repeatedly and residual deformation was measured. The thermal ratcheting test was carried out with two types of cylindrical structures, one with plate to-shell junction and the other without the junction to investigate the effects of the geometric discontinuities on the global ratcheting deformation. The temperature distributions of the test specimens were measured and were used for the ratcheting analysis. The ratchet deformations were analyzed with the constitutive equation of the non-linear combined hardening model. The analysis results were in good agreement with those of the structural tests.

  • Butterfly valve seated rubber has been widely used in water works and industrial fields because it has advantages which are small installation area and low weight. The size and material of butterfly valve have been selected by service environments and purposes. But there are out of the ordinary to find papers for the life characteristics of the butterfly valve. So, this study carries out the accelerated life test, which has an acceleration factor with pressure, using performance and life test equipment. Accelerated model is adopted with 3 stress level and the inverse power law model to estimate the life of the test samples. After the analysis of the test result, accelerated index has 7.0 and the acceleration factor has 208 which is applied with field condition with the pressure 6.3 bar.

Real-time Active Vibration Control of Smart Structure Using Adaptive PPF Controller (적응형 PPF 제어기를 이용한 지능구조물의 실시간 능동진동제어)

  • This research is concerned with the development of a real-time adaptive PPF controller for the active vibration suppression of smart structure. In general, the tuning of the PPF controller is carried out off-line. In this research, the real-time learning algorithm is developed to find the optimal filter frequency of the PPF controller in real time and the efficacy of the algorithm is proved by implementing it in real time. To this end, the adaptive algorithm is developed by applying the gradient descent method to the predefined performance index, which is similar to the method used popularly in the optimization and neural network controller design. The experiment was carried out to verify the validity of the adaptive PPF controller developed in this research. The experimental results showed that adaptive PPF controller is effective for active vibration control of the structure which is excited by either impact or harmonic disturbance. The filter frequency of the PPF controller is tuned in a very short period of time thus proving the efficiency of the adaptive PPF controller.

A Study on the Appropriate Tunnel Bracket using in Korea Peninsula (국내 기후와 환경에 적합한 터널브래킷 선정에 관한 연구)

  • Tunnel bracket is used in railway tunnel area in order to maintain insulation. Insulator performance evaluation test is proceeded refer to IEC 61109 but it is impossible to reflect all the field condition where insulator installed. Korea has clear four season in climatic condition and peninsula with lots of mountain in geomorphology condition. Tunnel bracket material which used in korea are butyl rubber, polymer and silicone. Most of them were installed without any internal climatic and geomorphology condition. According to the KORAIL operation data most of the insulator break down occurs in tunnel. So interval of inspection period is shorter then any other insulator and lots of maintenance cost incurs. Most major railway advanced country such as germany and japan maintain tunnel bracket with their own experience. For example visual inspection carried out with in one or two years and detailed inspection carried out between three to five years. This paper analyzed materials and shapes of tunnel bracket to in order to find optimized one in korea peninsula. Proposed bracket were tested under regulation and experience field data. Finally it was installed at the field and evaluated until now.

Genotoxicological Safety Evaluation of Crude Antifungal Compounds Produced by Bacillus subtilis SN7 (Bacillus subtilis SN7이 생성한 조항균 물질의 유전독성학적 안정성평가)

  • This study was carried out to perform genotoxicological safety evaluation of crude antifungal compounds produced by Bacillus subtilis SN7 (B. subtilis SN7) isolated from meju. Bacterial reverse mutation assay with Salmonella typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1537 or Escherichia coli WP2uvrA in the presence and absence of the S9 metabolic activation system was carried out, and the crude antifungal compounds produced by B. subtilis SN7 showed no significant increase in the number of revertant colonies. In the chromosomal aberration tests using Chinese hamster lung (CHL) cells, sample treatment groups showed no increase in the frequency of chromosome aberrations compared to the negative control group. Furthermore, in the micronucleus formation test, the crude antifungal compounds showed no significance increase in the frequency of polychromatic erythrocytes with micronuclei. These results suggest that the crude antifungal compounds produced by B. subtilis SN7 isolated from meju showed no harmful genotoxic effects.

  • The Developing & Producing of Eco-Friendly vehicle have been more incremented, as People appreciate the importance of Earth Environment Conservation. The needs of Neighborhood Electric Vehicle(NEV) that suits Current people's short drive distance is incremented. In this Paper, we define Neighborhood Electric Vehicle through out National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of United States of America's regulation and explain motor and battery of primary constituents of that. We used MATLAB and ADVISOR 200 programs for Simulation, and propsed NEV's Model that tow people can be got in. In this Model, the battery is Lead-acid battery(72V, 85Ah) and the motor is 8kW permanent magnet synchronous motor(PM motor). We compared change of driving range of NEV through out non-changing speed Driving(10km/h, 20km/h, 30km/h, 40km/h) and Manhattan driving schedule.
