The purpose of this study is to explore application of topic modeling for topic analysis of book report. Topic modeling can be understood as one method of topic analysis. This analysis was conducted with texts in 23 book reports using LDA function of the "topicmodels" package provided by R. According to the result of topic modeling, 16 topics were extracted. The topic network was constructed by the relation between the topics and keywords, and the book report network was constructed by the relation between book report cases and topics. Next, Centrality analysis was conducted targeting the topic network and book report network. The result of this study is following these. First, 16 topics are shown as network which has one component. In other words, 16 topics are interrelated. Second, book report was divided into 2 groups, book reports with high centrality and book reports with low centrality. The former group has similarities with others, the latter group has differences with others in aspect of the topics of book reports. The result of topic modeling is useful to identify book reports' topics combining with network analysis.

Nigeria Copyright Commission is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring adherence to the copyright law in Nigeria. However, it has been observed in the last decade that copyright right issue is still rampant in Nigeria. Therefore, this study analyzed cases that the Commission in involved in between years 2008 to 2018. The study adopted citation analysis. The study collected data from three selected law reports, which include Intellectual Property Law Reports, Nigerian Weekly Law Reports and Nigeria Law Intellectual Property Watch. It was found that Nigerian Law Intellectual Property Watch has the highest number of reports of cases involving Nigerian Copyright Commission while none was reported by Nigerian Weekly Law Reports. It was also found that most of the cases handled by the Commission were on copyright infringement. The study concludes that Nigerian Copyright Commission has been paying credible attention to issue that surrounds software infringement but there has been little attention paid to book piracy. Moreover, it was established that the poor attention given to book piracy may entrench the publication of pirated copy and would subsequently lead to poor library service provision at the long run.

The purpose of this preliminary study is to collect specific examples of book reports and understand semantic characteristics of them through semantic network. The analysis was conducted with 23 book reports which classified by three groups. The keywords were selected from the of book reports. Five types of keyword network were composed based on co-occurrence relations with keywords. The result of this study is following these. First, each keyword network of book reports of groups and individuals is shown to have different structural characteristics. Second, each network has different high centrality keywords according to the result analysis of 3 types of centrality(degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality). These characteristic means that keyword network analysis is useful in recognizing the characteristics of not only groups' and but also individual's book reports.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the historical material documents 'Kumgo'("檢考"), 'Haeyeongkumandenglok'("海營檢案謄錄"), 'Wanyeong-kumjedenglok'("完營檢題謄錄冊") which were possessed by C.V. Starr East Asian Library, University Of California Berkeley. These documents are a kinds of the coroner's inquest reports that were made out by the provincial magistrate of the Chos$\u{o}$n dynasty in the nineteenth century. The important contents of these documents consist of the murder cases include the trial records of the persons who connected with the case and the reports of the corpse, etc. Especially, 'Kumgo'("檢考") is the investigator's guide book, the outline of this book is how to investigate the murder's case and how to make out the reports. The 'Haeyeong-kumandenglok'("海營檢案謄錄") is an old book of the transcribe from the many kinds of the murder case's reports which were occurred in Whanghae province("黃海道"), 1882-1884. The book of the 'Wanyeong-kumjedenglok ("完營檢題謄錄冊") is transcribe from the text of the murder's case decisions by the provincial magistrate, in Jeonra province("全羅道"), 1837-1839. The result of this study is as follows ; These documents have the valuable material factors especially in the fields of korean old law, social, woman history. and it seems that these documents will be used in the variety fields of the human scientific researches.

This study aimed to investigate the difference in response to reading as shown in book reports by personality type and interest type. For this purpose, personality type analysis data, interest type analysis data, and book report data written in subject reading activities were collected from 81 third graders at D Science High School in Daejeon. Topic analysis was conducted on the collected book reports, and the probability of a topic being mentioned was statistically tested according to personality type (thinking type, feeling type) and interest type (investigative type, types other than investigative). Subsequently, the conceptual connection structure of words was measured by keyword network analysis, and the analysis results of topic modeling were complemented by the centrality index. As a result of the study, the topic regression analysis showed statistically significant differences between thinking type (T) and feeling type (F) in topic 2 (understanding and studying) and topic 3 (reading and thinking), and statistically significant differences between investigative type and non-investigative type in topic 2 (understanding and studying). The results of this study can be used as a basis for tailored book recommendations and personalized reading education.

This study analyzed the relevance of the curriculum by applying topic modeling to book reports written as content area reading activities in the 'physics' class. In order to carry out the research, 332 physics book reports were collected to analyze the relevance among keywords and topics were extracted using STM. The result of the analysis showed that the main keywords of the physics book reports were 'thought', 'content', 'explain', 'theory', 'person', 'understanding'. To examine the influence and connection relationship of the derived keywords, the study presented degree centrality, between centrality, and eigenvetor centrality. As a result of the topic modeling analysis, eleven topics related to the physics curriculum were extracted, and the curriculum linkage could be drawn in three subjects (Physics I, Physics II, Science History), and six areas (force and motion, modern physics, wave, heat and energy, Western science history, and What is science). The analyzed results can be used as evidence for a more systematic implementation of content area reading activities which reflect the subject characteristics in the future.

Large amounts of research results are being produced with the rapid growth of science and technology. The current method for constructing the database was way too time and cost consuming. In the currently upcoming technology and knowledge society, web service is required to provide the various professional service for national R&D reports. A process to manufacture E-Book for professional service is also required. This research shows the conversion models with efficient manufacturing process and the systems related to the development through defining the National R&D reports.

Man-Byeong-Hoi-Chun(萬病回春) is the principal book of Gong Tingxian who was a physician in the time of Ming(明) dynasty. It has been widely used in Korea and Japan. We recently analyzed the case reports in the book and found that he made some prescriptions by day and night separately. The method was based on the Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop(朝夕補法) by 薛己. We thought that it was an important key to his ideas in medicine. So we reviewed the origin and the basic principles of Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop and considered the clinical usages.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the improvement plan of book curation service by examining the current status of book curation, necessity and effectiveness of book curation, targeting librarian teachers. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 51 librarians in the Gyeonggi region. The main results are as follows. First, 86.3% of respondents had experience in book curation operation. Second, the most important reason for book curation service was to introduce resources of various subjects to students. Third, the subject of curation were selected by book event and social issues. Fourth, there were many cases where librarians performed services without receiving training on book curation. Lastly, although the recognition that book curation services are necessary is high, they are experiencing operational difficulties due to lack of space and budget. Based on the results, Based on the results, we suggested that this study has academic contributions as data that reports the reality of book curation, and that in order to actively match library resources with users without disappearing, professional education and curriculum of librarians should be able to eliminate common problems in previous studies.

The purpose of this research is to document the current state of 'One Book, One City' community reading campaign (Hereafter called 'One Book' reading campaign), launched in 2003 in Korea, and the characteristics of the selected books. For this research, the homepages, news and reports of a total of 1,170 public libraries and their local government, and several major institutions and organizations related to reading and culture were analyzed with the research method of content analysis and literature review. Also, online catalogs of the National Library of Korea and the National Library for Children and Young Adults were examined to identify the characteristics of 729 titles and 1,179 volumes of books selected in 57 'One Book' programs, as of 2021. The analysis of 57 'One Book' programs and those selected books shows the selection of more than one books in different age groups in more and more 'One Book' programs, lack of consistency in themes of those selected books, and preference for young adult books, new publications and bestselling novels. This trend has weakened individual 'One Book' programs' concentration on one book or one subject, but helped invite a diverse group of people with various interests. More in-depth analysis and explanation of the process of book selection and its appropriateness with the stated goals of 'One Book' programs are needed.
