Exergy analysis is widely used in energy system analysis for more efficient energy use. Pinch technology has focused on chemical plants, such as pure heat exchanger networks. In this study, the objective is to seek more effective means with integrating above two methods. In order to demonstrate effective result and to prove possibility for pinch analysis, the steam turbine is adopted to make heat recovery in the heat exchanger network. Three cases are introduced using the integration of exergy and pinch analysis. The standard steam turbine utility is the base case, and adding the heat pump to this system is the second case. The third case is the system with the heat pump and minimum utilities. The results show that the output power of steam turbine in the case(2) and case(3) are increased up to 42% and 46%, respectively, compared with that of base case.

This paper concerns on application of active magnetic bearing(AMB) system to levitate the elevation axis of an electro-optical sight mounted on moving vehicles. In such a system, it is desirable to retain the elevation axis within the predetermined air-gap while the vehicle is moving. An optimal base acceleration feedforward control is proposed to reduce the base motion response. In the consideration of the uncertainty of the system model, a filtered-x least-mean-square(FXLMS) algorithm is used to estimate the frequency response function of the feedforward control which cancels base motions. The frequency response function is fitted to an optimal feedforward control. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control reduces the air-gap deviation to 27.7% that by feedback control alone.

본 연구의 목적은 기초화장품에 노출된 소프트콘택트렌즈를 착용하였을 때 나타나는 불편감의 원인을 밝히는 것이다. 소프트콘택트렌즈를 스킨로션, 에센스로션 또는 영양크림에 노출 후 다시 7일간 인공누액에 노출하여 부착된 단백질 양, 가시광선 투과도, 습윤성 및 곡률반경의 변화를 측정하였다. 소프트콘택트렌즈에 부착된 단백질 양은 기초화장품의 노출에 의해 약 3배 증가하였다. 또한 영양크림과 인공누액 모두에 노출된 소프트콘택트렌즈의 가시광선 투과도는 92.8%로 인공누액에만 노출된 소프트콘택트렌즈의 97.5%보다 4.7% 더 낮았다. 스킨로션, 에센스로션, 영양크림에 노출됨에 따라 렌즈의 접촉각은 각각 $7.1^{\circ}$, $7.0^{\circ}$, $5.7^{\circ}$가 증가하였으며, 소프트콘택트렌즈의 곡률반경은 각각, 3.2%, 5.1% 및 8.3% 더 감소하였다.

Given a noncompact semisimple Lie group G and its maximal compact Lie subgroup K such that the right multiplication of each element in K gives an isometry on G, consider a principal bundle G → G/K, which is a Riemannian submersion. We study the infinitesimal holonomy isometries. Given a closed curve at eK in the base space G/K, consider the holonomy displacement of e by the horizontal lifting of the curve. We prove that the correspondence is continuous.

In this paper we define a new family of ruled surfaces using an othonormal Sannia frame defined on a base consisting of the striction curve of the tangent, the principal normal, the binormal and the Darboux ruled surface. We examine characterizations of these surfaces by first and second fundamental forms, and mean and Gaussian curvatures. Based on these characterizations, we provide conditions under which these ruled surfaces are developable and minimal. Finally, we present some examples and pictures of each of the corresponding ruled surfaces.

This paper is the study on the development of a torque precision measuring system using the curve fitting algorithm. This system can be divided into the hardware part and the software part. The hardware part consists of the main base board, the DAQ(Data Aquisition) board and Calibration parts. The software part consists of the software filter module and the curve fitting algorithm module. We have tested the torque transducer including the strain gauge for 200 Nm range and have analyzed the data acquired with the curve fitting algorithm by using this system. The DAQ board converts the electric signal induced by the transducer to the digital value precisely by using the shunt calibration procedure. The main board including the curve fitting algorithm calculates the exact digital torque value by using the digital value from the DAQ board. In this study, we confirmed that the result of the appropriate high-order power-series polynomial function is more accurate than the result of the low-order power-series polynomial through the system.

We assume that the existence and termination conjecture for flips holds. A complex projective manifold is said to be of almost general type if the intersection number of the canonical divisor with every very general curve is strictly positive. Let f be an algebraic fiber space from X to Y. Then the manifold X is of almost general type if every very general fiber F and the base space Y of f are of almost general type.

Most of operating railways in domestic, it is used to be Wheel flange lubricator system applied liquid spray type. Wheel flange lubricator are reduced the abrasion of wheel flange through spraying in accordance with operating on the curve or operating function of time base and/or distance base. this paper is written to introduce and study the efficiency for the angular velocity sensing type of lubricant systems.

This paper describes a method which uses rail curves for blending surfaces. Blending surface between the free form surfaces which have the flexible shapes and are widely used today is investigated. The rail curves give blending surface continuty through Pointwise interpola- tion. It is the point in this paper that the blending surfaces give a good flexibility to modeling of base free form surfaces. Using rail curves for simple base surfaces, complicated models can be designed. Also this blending surfaces can be used for path generation in compoud surfaces.

미국발 금융위기 여파로 세계경제가 침체되변서 LME의 base metal 가격이 2008년 4/4, 분기 급락하였으나, 2009년 1-7월 거시경제 회복신호와 함께 base metal 가격이 다시 상승세를 보였다. Base meta1 상승 배경에는 미국 기업들의 개선된 실적 발표로 산업생산 및 제조업지수가 개선된 것 미달러화 약세로 인한 원자재 가격 상승, 그리고 무엇보다도 세계 금융 위기 속에도 경제성장을 위한 중국의 원자재 수요 증가가 주요 원인으로 꼽힌다. 이에 본 논문에서는 base metal 가격상승에 주요 base metal소비국의 수요가 영향을 주었는지를 중국 및 주요국 경제성장률을 가지고 회귀분석 하였다. 분석결과 중국의 경제 성장만이 LME시장의 base metal 가격상승에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 이런 결과에도 불구하고, 그동안 중국 상품의 주요 소비시장이었던 미국, 유럽 동 선진국들 경제의 본격적인 회복 없이 중국경제만으로 base metal 가격 상승랠리가 지속될지 여부를 보고자 한다.
