  • Every non-associative algebra L corresponds to its symmetric semi-Lie algebra $L_{[,]}$ with respect to its commutator. It is an interesting problem whether the equality $Aut{non}(L)=Aut_{semi-Lie}(L)$ holds or not [2], [13]. We find the non-associative algebra automorphism groups $Aut_{non}\; \frac\;{(WN_{0,0,1}_{[0,1,r_1...,r_p])}$ and $Aut_{non-Lie}\; \frac\;{(WN_{0,0,1}_{[0,1,r_1...,r_p])}$ where every automorphism of the automorphism groups is the composition of elementary maps [3], [4], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11]. The results of the paper show that the F-algebra automorphism groups of a polynomial ring and its Laurent extension make easy to find the automorphism groups of the algebras in the paper.

  • It was obtained in [5] generalized Lichnerowicz and Obata theorems for Riemannian foliations, which reduce to the results on Riemannian manifolds for the point foliations. Recently in [3], they studied a generalized Obata theorem for Riemannian foliations admitting transversal conformal fields. Each transversal conformal field is a ${\lambda}$-automorphism with ${\lambda}=1-{\frac{2}{q}}$ in the sense of [8]. In the present paper, we extend certain results established in [3] and study Riemannian foliations admitting ${\lambda}$-automorphisms with ${\lambda}{\geq}1-{\frac{2}{q}}$.

  • By developing a linear algebra program involving many different structures associated to a three-graded H*-algebra, it is shown that if L is a Lie triple automorphism of an infinite-dimensional topologically simple associative H*-algebra A, then L is either an automorphism, an anti-automorphism, the negative of an automorphism or the negative of an anti-automorphism. If A is finite-dimensional, then there exists an automorphism, an anti-automorphism, the negative of an automorphism or the negative of an anti-automorphism F : A $\rightarrow$ A such that $\delta$:= F - L is a linear map from A onto its center sending commutators to zero. We also describe L in the case of having A zero annihilator.

  • Let U be a ${\sigma}$-square closed Lie ideal of a 2-torsion free ${\sigma}$-prime ${\Gamma}$-ring M. Let $d{\neq}1$ be an automorphism of M such that $[u,d(u)]_{\alpha}{\in}Z(M)$ on U, $d{\sigma}={\sigma}d$ on U, and there exists $u_0$ in $Sa_{\sigma}(M)$ with $M{\Gamma}u_0{\subseteq}U$. Then, $U{\subseteq}Z(M)$. By applying this result, we generalize the results of Oukhtite and Salhi respect to ${\Gamma}$-rings. Finally, for a non-zero derivation of a 2-torsion free ${\sigma}$-prime $\Gamma$-ring, we obtain suitable conditions under which the $\Gamma$-ring must be commutative.

  • The object of this paper is to study($\sigma,\;\tau$)-Lie ideals in semi-prime rings with derivation. Main result is the following theorem: Let R be a semi-prime ring with 2-torsion free, $\sigma$ and $\tau$ two automorphisms of R such that $\sigma\tau=\tau\sigma$=, U be both a non-zero ($\sigma,\;\tau$)-Lie ideal and subring of R. If $d^2(U)=0$, then d(U)=0 where d a non-zero derivation of R such that $d\sigma={\sigma}d,\;d\tau={\tau}d$.

  • It is well known that there exists a regular branched covering map from T$^2$ onto $\={C}$ iff the ramification indices are (2,2,2,2), (2,4,4), (2,3,6) and (3,3,3). In this paper we construct (count-ably many) chaotic homeomorphisms induced by hyperbolic toral automorphism and regular branched covering map corresponding to the ramification indices (2,2,2,2). And we also gave an example which shows that the above construction of a chaotic map is not true in general if the ramification indices is (2,4,4) and also show that there are no chaotic homeomorphisms induced by hyperbolic toral automorphism and regular branched covering map corresponding to the ramification indices (2,3,6) and (3,3,3).

  • Let K be a field and G be a group of its automorphisms. It follows from Speiser's generalization of Hilbert's Theorem 90, [10] that any K-semilinear representation of the group G is isomorphic to a direct sum of copies of K, if G is finite. In this note three examples of pairs (K, G) are presented such that certain irreducible K-semilinear representations of G admit a simple description: (i) with precompact G, (ii) K is a field of rational functions and G permutes the variables, (iii) K is a universal domain over field of characteristic zero and G its automorphism group. The example (iii) is new and it generalizes the principal result of [7].

  • Let M be a right R-module, G an ordered group and ${\sigma}$ a map from G into the group of automorphisms of R. The conditions under which the Malcev-Neumann module M* ((G)) is a PS module and a p.q.Baer module are investigated in this paper. It is shown that: (1) If $M_R$ is a reduced ${\sigma}$-compatible module, then the Malcev-Neumann module M* ((G)) over a PS-module is also a PS-module; (2) If $M_R$ is a faithful ${\sigma}$-compatible module, then the Malcev-Neumann module M* ((G)) is a p.q.Baer module if and only if the right annihilator of any G-indexed family of cyclic submodules of M in R is generated by an idempotent of R.

  • In this Paper we show the following: Let R be a prime ring (with characteristic different two) and a $\in$ R. Let Θ, $\phi$ : R longrightarrow R be automorphisms and let d : R longrightarrow R be a nonzero Θ-derivation. (i) if[d($\chi$), a]Θo$\phi$ = 0 (or d([$\chi$, a]$\phi$ = 0) for all $\chi$ $\in$ R, then a+$\phi$(a) $\in$ Z, the conte. of R, (ii) if〈d($\chi$), a〉 = 0 for all $\chi$$\in$R, then d(a) =0. (iii) if [ad($\chi$), $\chi$$\phi$= 0 for all $\chi$$\in$R, then either a = 0 or R is commutative.

  • In this paper, we classify all nonconstant smooth CR maps from a sphere $S_{n,1}{\subset}\mathbb{C}^n$ with n > 3 to the Shilov boundary $S_{p,q}{\subset}\mathbb{C}^{p{\times}q}$ of a bounded symmetric domain of Cartan type I under the condition that p - q < 3n - 4. We show that they are either linear maps up to automorphisms of $S_{n,1}$ and $S_{p,q}$ or D'Angelo maps. This is the first classification of CR maps into the Shilov boundary of bounded symmetric domains other than sphere that includes nonlinear maps.
