벤트 그릴 조립공정 자동화를 위한 자동화지그 개발 (The Development of an Automation Jig for the Vent Grille Assembly Process)

  • In this study, an automation assembly jig for the automation assembly process for the ventilation grille that is used in the interior of a car Is developed. As the method that can do the automation assembly for the ventilation grille, a simple jig and air cylinder have been applied. And a solenoid valve, a filter regulator, and on-off switch have been used in controlling the system. Moreover, the timer is attached to the equipment so that a worker may control the assembly time, as fitting the quantity on demand of production. Actually with executing the assembly test productivity and performance of assembly have been verified. In case of the automation assembly work for a ventilation grille is compared to the manual work. The optimum working speed has been identified to make the process twice or three times better.

  • 최근 디지털 기술들의 눈부신 발전을 거듭하고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 다양한 전자제품이 디지털화 되었고 그 대상이 점차 확대되고 있다. 이에 따라 임베디드 기술과 인터넷 기술이 결합된 임베디드 홈 오토메이션 시스템에 대한 개발이 많은 관심을 모으고 있다. 특히 유비쿼터스 시대를 맞이하여 일반 가정에도 경제적으로 우수한 홈 오토메이션 시스템을 선호하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 구현되고 있는 홈오토메이션시스템들의 단조로운 제어에서 탈피하여 지능화된 유비쿼터스 환경을 가정에 도입하기 위한 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

Improvement of a Low Cost MEMS Inertial-GPS Integrated System Using Wavelet Denoising Techniques

  • In this paper, the wavelet denoising techniques using thresholding method are applied to the low cost micro electromechanical system (MEMS)-global positioning system(GPS) integrated system. This was done to improve the navigation performance. The low cost MEMS signals can be distorted with conventional pre-filtering method such as low-pass filtering method. However, wavelet denoising techniques using thresholding method do not distort the rapidly-changing signals. They can reduce the signal noise. This paper verified the improvement of the navigation performance compared to the conventional pre-filtering by simulation and experiment.

  • In this paper, problems and solutions are proposed for applying IEC 61850 to Distribution Automation System(DAS). Communication protocol integration in power automation system have issued by IEC standards, IEC 61850 of them has researched for applying IEC 61850 to many areas of power system in spite of that it was made for substation automation system. Especially, DAS is just about to apply IEC 61850 by communication network change from serial to ethernet although DNP 3.0 is used. But it's impossible to apply directly IEC 61850 to DAS by difference of environment which unfixed wide area and separated nodes in power distribution system unlike concept of IEC 61850 is made by Substation Automation System(SAS) environment of limited space. Thus, this paper proposed applications of three types which conceptual, practical, and future to consider problems and solutions when apply IEC 61850 to Ethernet based DAS.

  • 우리의 제안시스템인 mobiAutoBot은 모바일 디바이스를 지원 가능한 인지 자동화 수준의 로보틱스 프로세스 자동화 소프트웨어의 개념모델이다. mobiAutoBot은 mobiAutoBot controller와 mobiAutoBot runner의 두 부분으로 구성되어 있다. mobiAutoBot controller는 모바일기기에 Job을 지시하고 모니터링 및 연동작업을 수행하며, 모바일 디바이스에 설치된 mobiAutoBot runner는 명령내린 작업을 수행한다. mobiAutoBot을 사용하면, 고가의 로보틱스 프로세스 자동화 기능을 저비용으로 구축가능하며, 모바일 디바이스를 포함한 다양한 응용분야에서 활용할 수 있다.

  • The construction industry is in the process of changing from the existing labor-intensive production system to a construction automation system using advanced information and communication technologies. Accordingly, in order to identify key research areas and utilization technologies in the field of construction automation, this study collected the latest 17 years (2000-2016) of papers published in International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction (ISARC) and conducted a correlation analysis between the construction management areas and automation technologies based on the keyword frequency. As a result, the BIM, WSN, and Augmented reality were extracted as the technology keywords with high correlation with various areas of construction management.

  • With the advent of the recent Fourth Industrial Revolution, efforts are vigorously underway to comprehend the new paradigm of Construction 4.0, following in the footsteps of Industry 4.0, and to establish novel production systems. The necessity and significance of technological advancements in the field of construction automation and robotics, a pivotal component for Construction 4.0, are being emphasized. This paper aims to discuss the concept of construction automation and robotics, encompassing its past, present, and future prospects. Particularly, it reviews the six relevant papers featured in the June 2022 special issue of IJHRB, along with discussions on the integration of cutting-edge ICT technologies and R&D in the realm of automation and robotics. With the progression of ICT technology, the domain of construction automation and robotics is anticipated to play a substantial role in the realization of Construction 4.0 and smart construction through more dynamic convergence in technological development.
