퍼지이론과 유전알고리즘의 합성에 의한 제어기설계 (Controller Design Using a Fuzzy Theory and Genetic Algorithm)

  • A position control algorithm for a inverted pendulum is studied. The proposed algorithm is based on a fuzzy theory and a steady state genetic algorithm(SSGA). The conventional fuzzy methods need expert's knowledges or human experiences. The SSGA, which is a optimization algorithm, tunes the input-output membership parameters and fuzzy rules automatically. The computer simulation to control a inverted pendulum is presented to illustrate the approaches.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of post processor for Numerical control programing which prepare control paper tape of NC machine. The post processor that we developed reflects modular program design methodology to improve flexibility about variety NC machine. Also, the designed post processor is able to link with general NC system as APT(Automatically programing tools) system or general CAD/CAM system.

  • This study is about fault detection and fault area detection of LV circuit in Cab Cubicle system which have control of train to keep safety in High Speed Train. LV circuit is operated with diagnosis system like safety system. In this paper, we suggest a design and an implementation method to detect fault or to detect fault area automatically about LV circuit. The implemented system is tested successfully after implementation of some function. We expect reduction to diagnosis area or repair time by fault area module

  • This paper presents the application of a FARMA controller to stabilization of nonlinear Two-Generator Five-Bus power Systems. The control rules and the membership functions of the FARMA controller are generated automatically without using any plant model high complexity and severe nonlinearity of power systems are introduced and two-Machine Five -Bus Power system stabilization problem is formulated. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and application possibility of the FARMA controller to the control problem of high order and nonlinear plants.

히스토그램을 이용한 영상의 자동생동도변환 (Automatic Dynamic Range Transform of Video Using Histogram)

  • In video camera, an automatic video quality compensation method using the dynamic range transform is proposed. The histogram is used to decide the nonuniformness of picture brightness by nonuniform lighting. The gray level is divided four regions, and the histogram is obtained per one field. We introduce a new parameter, nonuniformness, defined by the cumulative difference between its CDF and LCDF. We also propose the decision function of the dynamic range transform constant versus its nonuniformness, and compensate the quality of video automatically.

  • This paper presents a method for automatic generating of check sheet to measure deep-drawn sheet metal. By using polyhedral model of CAD, the proposed procedure calculates measuring points automatically. The results of measure are exported to MS-Excel. The proposed method is implemented by API functions and C language using SPEED plus CAD/CAM system and MS-Window OLE.

  • In this paper, the implementation techniques of intelligent nuclear material surveillance system based on the SOM(Self Organized Mapping) was described. Unattended continuous surveillance systems for nuclear facility result in large amounts of data, which require much time and effort to inspect. Therefore, it is necessary to develop system that automatically pinpoints and diagnoses the anomalies from data. In this regards, this paper presents a novel concept of a continuous surveillance system that integrates visual image and radiation data by the use of neural networks based on self-organized feature mapping

  • In this paper, we present an approach to the structure identification based on the input space partition methods and to the parameter identification by hybrid learning method in neuro-fuzzy system. The structure identification can automatically estimate the number of membership function and fuzzy rule using grid partition, tree partition, scatter partition from numerical input-output data. And then the parameter identification is carried out by the hybrid learning scheme using back-propagation and least squares estimate. Finally, we sill show its usefulness for neuro-fuzzy modeling to truck backer-upper control.

  • Proficiency in creating a knowledge base is required for high accuracy fuzzy control. To overcome this a fuzzy inference method is proposed that take these membership functions from the probability densities showing the distribution of the mesurement values. And a method using a rough fuzzy knowledge base automatically created from the basic measurement data and tuned using the gradient method is proposed. In actual tests, these were applied to automatic high accuracy adjustment devices for magnetic head and for high frequency circuits with good results.

  • In this paper, first, the fuzzy Petri net inference mechanism with learning function is proposed by using the extended fuzzy Petri nets. Secondly, a control system with this new inference engine is proposed. This system can do automatically and easily the knowledge acquisition from the operator's empirical data and can also be controller adaptively under the big parameter change.
