  • This study examines the background and necessity of the product certification (KS) and the system authentication (ISO 9000), and their characteristic so as to compare and analyze the possibility of interaction of product certification and system authentication. It tries to suggest an efficient operation system as an integrated management system and analyzes the certification case of K, a manufacturer of kitchen utensils. We believe that the study will help companies minimize their expenses and efforts to establish, operate, and maintain the corporate standard system. In addition, to effectively achieve our goal, we have also made a study of both literature and case and suggested technical guidance to get integrated management system certification. By these methods, we analyzed the effects and problems that come with the introduction and application of the integrated system of product certification and system authentication in order to set up a system to fit to the mechanism of Korean companies. Moreover, we have suggested the model of integrated operation and the benefits that come after acquiring certification.

  • In this study, a novel Randomly Shifted Certification Authority Authentication protocol was used in ad hoc networks to provide authentication by considering the MAC layer characteristics. The nodes achieve authentication through the use of public key certificates issued by a CA, which assures the certificate's ownership. As a part of providing key management, the active CA node transfers the image of the stored public keys to other idle CA nodes. Finally the current active CA randomly selects the ID of the available idle CA and shifts the CA ownership by transferring it. Revoking is done if any counterfeit or duplicate non CA node ID is found. Authentication and integrity is provided by preventing MAC control packets, and Enhanced Hash Message Authentication Code (EHMAC) can be used. Here EHMAC with various outputs is introduced in all control packets. When a node transmits a packet to a node with EHMAC, verification is conducted and the node replies with the transmitter address and EHMAC in the acknowledgement.

  • The GUIDEC I was published in November 1997 by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and then the GUIDEC was published in October 2000 in the name of GUIDEC II. The GUIDEC II is the next version of GUIDEC I. This paper examines the electronic authentication and certification practices under GUIDEC II in detail. Therefore, this paper can help parties concerned to understand electronic authentication and certification practices of electronic commerce. GUIDEC II maintains the content of GUIDEC I, but GUIDEC II adds some new definitions such as authenticating a message and explains the rights and responsibility of subscribers, certifiers, and relying parties in detail. The aim of the GUIDEC II is to enhance the ability of international business community to execute trustworthy digital transactions utilizing legal principles that promote reliable digital authentication and certification practice.

  • OTP(One-time Password) had been used much by method to do user certification so far. Because aspect that user certification that use OTP is efficient and economical fairly is much, it is one of method that can use easily. This treatise would apply OTP in message authentication and wishes to show that OTP is available for inter-authentication. First, examine about OTP's characteristic and overview in introduction, and explain about user certification method to use OTP in main discourse and method of message certification. And finally. wish to examine how OTP offers inter-authentication function.

  • User authentication is an important requirement to provide secure network service. Therefore, many authentication schemes have been proposed to provide secure authentication, such as key agreement and anonymity. However, authority of scheme is limited to one's self. It is inefficient when authenticated users grant a certification to other users who are in an organization which has a hierarchical structure, such as a company or school. In this paper, we propose the first authentication scheme to use Attributes-Based Re-encryption that creates a certification to other users with specified attributes. The scheme, which has expanded from Rhee et al. scheme, has optimized computation performance on a smart card, ensuring the user's anonymity and key agreement between users and server.

  • In this paper, We propose a new Kerberos certification mechanism that improve certification service based on PKINIT that announce in IETF CAT Working Group. Certification between area connected by chain through PKINIT that use X.509 and DS/DNS mutually for service. In order to provide regional services used private key and public key, X.509 of PKINIT is employed on session part and Kerberos's private key on actual authentication part. New mechanism be reduced communication overload doing to simplify certification formality between Client and remote KDC by KDC's certificate use to get ticket in remote sacred ground and remote KDC's reaffirmation process omitted.

  • In this paper, we are introduced a certification system for open network environment. The Kerberos which was developed by MIT uses a secret key cryptosystem for authentication. It is secure and efficient for closed network users to authenticate each others. However, the kerberos has a disadvantage of managing a lot of secret keys for In this paper, we are introduced a certification system for open network environment. users in the open network environment. This paper suggests a method that uses X.509 to provide public keys with certification to Kerberos users for authentication in the X.500 directory standard. And we also suggest the smartcard as data storage device to enhance the security and availability.

  • With the latest developments in ICT(Information Communication Technology) technology, research on Intelligent Car, Connected Car that support autonomous driving or services is actively underway. It is true that the number of inputs linked to external connections is likely to be exposed to a malicious intrusion. I studied possible security issues that may occur within the Connected Car. A variety of security issues may arise in the use of CAN, the most typical internal network of vehicles. The data can be encrypted by encrypting the entire data within the CAN network system to resolve the security issues, but can be time-consuming and time-consuming, and can cause the authentication process to be carried out in the event of a certification procedure. To resolve this problem, CAN network system can be used to authenticate nodes in the network to perform a unique authentication of nodes using nodes in the network to authenticate nodes in the nodes and By encoding the ID, identifying the identity of the data, changing the identity of the ID and decryption algorithm, and identifying the cipher and certification techniques of the external invader, the encryption and authentication techniques could be detected by detecting and verifying the external intruder. Add a monitoring node to the CAN network to resolve this. Share a unique ID that can be authenticated using the server that performs the initial certification of nodes within the network and encrypt IDs to secure data. By detecting external invaders, designing encryption and authentication techniques was designed to detect external intrusion and certification techniques, enabling them to detect external intrusions.

  • ISO 15118 is an international standard that defines communication between electric vehicles and electric vehicle chargers. Plug & Charge (PnC) was also defined as a technology to automatically authenticate users when using charging services. PnC indicates automatic authentication technology where all processes such as electric vehicle user authentication, charging and billing are automatically processed. According to the standard, certificates for chargers and CPSs (Certificate Provisioning Services) should be under the V2G (Vehicle to Grid) Root certificate. In Korea, the utility company operates its own PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), making it difficult to provide chargers under the V2G Root Certificate. Therefore, a method that can be authenticated is necessary even when you have different Root Certificates. This paper proposes to apply cross-certificate technology to PnC authentication. Automatic authentication of Cross Certification is to issue a cross-certificate of the Root CA and include it in the certificate chain to proceed with automatic authentication, even if you have different Root certificates. Applying cross-certificate technology enables verification of certificates under other Root certificates. In this paper, the PnC automatic authentication and cross certificate automatic authentication is implemented, so as to proceed with proof of concept proving that both methods are available. Define development requirements, certificate profiles, and user authentication sequences, and implement and execute them accordingly. This experiment confirms that two automatic authentication are practicable, especially the scalability of automatic authentication using cross-certificate PnC.
