This study is to reveal the significant value of astrology as a counseling tool beyond its unscientific means in prophecy and counseling effects on changes in adolescents' self-awareness with astrology. In astrology, personal self-awareness is related to the nature of the sun and the public self-awareness is associated with ascendants, or the persona. In addition, the location of the moon that governs emotion and basic and peripheral aspects of polarity, quality, and elements are analyzed to be applied to the scene of consultation in relation of social unrest. For this study, 24 subjects were selected randomly at the Youth Support Center in Gyeongsangnam-do city C who referred to be showing social maladjustment, problematic behaviors and so under probation. The subjects were divided into the experimental group (12) and control group (12). To measure the affects of astrology-utilized consultation and to assess changes of self-awareness and its sub-factors, analysis of variance was conducted repeatedly and statistically validated with the difference between the group (experimental, control) and test(pre, post). As the results, it was proven that the consultation using astrology is affective on increasing adolescents' self-awareness and it can be understood that astrology has a meaningful value as a consultation tool in the aspects of social science.

Study on correspondent of eastern and western astrology and Jung's psychological types, we obtain as follow as results. Western astrology is transmitted from China and developed, it influenced on the study of the Four Pillars(四柱學). Comparing assemble, gathering, punishment, destruction, collision, impair of Di-zhi(地支) in the study of Four Pillars with Xing-gong theory(星宮論) in the western astrology, can get the result that the Pillars study has close connection with astronomy and astrology. When we compared Jung's psychological types with astrology, the five elements(五行) and the four major factors, can be summarized like this. (1) intuition-fire sign-wood and fire-fire in the four major factors(四大), (2) sensation-earth sign-earth and metal-earth in the four major factors, (3) thinking-air sign-metal and water-wind in the four major factors, (4) feeling-water sign-water and wood-water in the four major factors. The four major factors of Buddhism is now understood as, earth, water and fire represent the state of solid(earth), liquid(water), gas(fire) and wind can be recognized as energy source help the changes. This is mentioned throughout the books, but only arranging the theory of four major factors.

The purpose of this thesis is to contemplate Astrology, 28 Fixed star, and Naksatra. The goal of this study was to look through the birth process of Astrology in the classical literature, and to examine how it can be applied to each individual's life by looking into the meaning of 28 Fixed star and Nakshatra. From the literary review, Astrology existed among the Babylonians 1000 BC and it originated from the start of calling by naming the animal. Assyrians called it "the zodiac is the Way of the Moon" which was written on Molapin in the Enuma Anu Enil, the clay plate recorded by Assyrians. Therefore, it was found that the zodiac, called Astrology, was made through the movement of the moon. There are also 28 stars in 배도, which is the way the moon passes, and it is called 28 Fixed star. 28 Fixed Star is called Nakshatra in India and can read the natural destiny of an individual through Nakshatra., Knowing the lunar month and date, you can find the individual Nakshatra and choose the best life in the framework of your natural destiny. Therefore, this researcher reviewed the literature on Astrology, 28 Fixed Star and Nakshatra and suggested the utilization plan. I hope this study will help the related field in the future.

This study is a study to analyze Nativity's occupational aptitude by examining the functions and structures of the planets that make up the Nativity birth chart of Classic Astrology. If the occupation that appears in the birth chart is viewed as an individual's natural occupation, it is analyzed through the strength and weakness of the sign and planets, and the aspect (relationship with the planet). In Classic Astrology's nativity birth chart, there are three major planets when judging occupations: Venus (♀). Mars (♂). It was thought to be determined by Mercury (☿). However, in order to meet the diversity of jobs required in today's highly developed knowledge and information society, there are some shortcomings, so Saturn (♄), Jupiter (♃), Sun (☉), Moon (☽) was added to apply the aptitude for the job. Thus, the native's ASC vocational aptitude could be applied more diversely and broadly based on the relationship between planets and their aspects. As a result, Venus (♀. Venus) means enjoying artistic work that people think is beautiful and making it a pleasure in life, while Mars (♂) means work that requires physical strength and strength, such as working days. Mercury (☿) means using knowledge and brains, and the Sun (☉) plays a role in giving authority to jobs and talents. The Moon (☽) helps the native gain people's trust in his or her profession and talents, Jupiter (♃) helps the native to revive his or her profession and talents through faith, sincerity, fairness, and generosity, and Saturn (♄) can appear as an obstacle that blocks career and talent due to greed, sadness, poverty, etc. As a result of the study, it was found that the native's occupations vary depending on the strengths and weaknesses of the planets and their aspect relationships.

Human beings have to do economic activities according to their aptitude and innate ability for a living. Human beings invest a lot of effort and spend a lot of time to gain social status and honor via economic activities. In order to make their lives more valuable as members of society, first they should know their own nature. Because it is important for choosing a job. From a study on the use of personality psychology of classical astrology, it was found that the native shows disposition and personality psychology differently depending on the change of yin and yang. Since human behavior is determined by natural personality and the influence of the surrounding environment, knowing personality makes people expect job choices and changes. Therefore, it is expected that it will be helpful to classify native's occupational aptitude of personality type from research on the use of personality psychology of classical astrology.

In this study, in the Nativity birth chart of Classic Astrology, the study was conducted under the premise that 'If the natives are born with different structures to govern their diseases, diseases may appear differently in the lives of natives.' did. In the birth chart, an individual's innate health was analyzed through the strengths and weaknesses of sign, planets, and aspects. In the case of managing congenital diseases, we studied the aspect relationship between the native's ASC constellation and the fixed star and planet in the Nativity Birth Chart. In the case of controlling acquired diseases, it was judged by examining the constellations, rulers, and planets of the 6^th house that control diseases in the Nativity birth chart. In the case of acquired diseases, natives may be exposed to various accidents and diseases throughout their lives. So, we looked at the relationship between diseases through the energy and weakness of the planet coming through Pirdaria, the aspect relationship with the planet, and fixed star. As a result of the study, a native's health status is given differently depending on the strength and weakness of the innate sign and planet in the Nativity Birth Chart. And it has been proven that the health of the native is determined by the state of the 6^th House, who rules over disease, and the disease and accidents that come from Direction are determined by the relationship between the planet and the aspect coming from Pirdaria.

Americans continue to have beliefs in the paranormal, for example in UFOs, ghosts, haunted houses, and clairvoyance. Yet, to date there has not been a systematic gathering of data on popular beliefs about the paranormal, and the question of whether or not there is a convincing trend in beliefs about the paranormal remains to be explored. Public opinion polling on paranormal beliefs shows that these beliefs have remained stable over time, and in some cases have in fact increased. Beliefs in ghosts (25% in 1990 to 32% in 2005) and haunted houses (29% in 1990, 37% in 2001) have all increased while beliefs in clairvoyance (26% in 1990 and 2005) and astrology as scientific (31% in 2006, 32% in 2014) have remained stable. Belief in UFOs (50%) is highest among all paranormal beliefs. Our findings show that people continue to hold beliefs about the paranormal despite their lack of grounding in science or religion.

UNGI(運氣) theory is one of the most important theory in Oriental medicine. But it's so difficult to adapt to real medic. Long time ago many Oriental Physicians disscussed this with other physicians, UNGI to Oriental Medicine, and so still now. Remarkably, it is important as a basic theory itself, UNGI exist as a special medic. We can see that in the book of ‘五運六氣韓醫學寶鑑’, ‘運氣演繹方藥篇’ and other such kind of books. The special thing is we can predict each man's disease through the date of his birth. And more, we can make out prescription for each person's health. In addition, by knowing his date of birth, we can calculate his date of pregnancy, and with the same way, we can also predict and prescript that he can be protected from his fateful disease. But, the way like this can make Oriental medic an astrology and a superstition. So I studied on this and concluded as follow, 1. UNGI theory is important in the Oriental Medicine not only in basic but on diagnosis and attendance. 2. Mechanical abuse in the past, make UNGI theory unbelievable. But Liu Ha-gan(劉河間) studied so deeply, and knew the right way to applicate UNGI theory on Oriental medic. 3. It is not logical the pregnant day counted thru birthday, so we have to percept this an abstract idea. And it founded detail way to count the pregnant day. 'UNGI' as a medical system, by knowing his birthday we can predict and prevent his fateful disease. Of course, I cannot find such substances in Neijing, and classic books on Oriental medicine. So queer at a glance, but clinically it has some valuable meanings. However, There's little to prove its foundation. It is similar to astrology, we cannot define its base. The problems we have to trace and find out.

A study on the effect of the Sun-Moon-Stars(日月星辰) in Huang Ti Nei Ching("黃帝內經") on the formation of the Yunqi theory(運氣理論) have revealed following conclusions. 1. There was a record of Stars(星辰) written by Gabgol-Character(甲骨文字) in the Yin(殷) Dynasty. But the very first documentary records of Stars(星辰) is Shu Jing("書經"). Ancient astronomy had the tendency of astrology of combined with theory of the Five Elements(五行) and finally effects the theory of formation of Huang Ti Nei Ching("黃帝內經"). 2. Shu Jing("書經") said that Junrak(錢樂) made an Armillary sphere(運天儀) in the Sung(宋) Dynasty. And in the Jin(秦) and the Han(漢) Dynasty, they already observed the stars. The Sunkiokhyung(璿機玉衡) which is machinery of star-observing, became to be called an Armillary sphere (運天儀) by the pass of times. 3. As of the theory of the Cosmos-structure(宇宙-構造論) in Ohanunhangdaeron("五運行大論"), Guiyugu(鬼兒區) announced the Hypothesis of Covering Heaven(蓋天說) but Kibak(岐伯) supported the Hypothesis of chaosheven's(蓋天說) and in the theory of atmosphere(大氣論) in Ohanunhangdaeron("五運行大論") said that the earth was in Great Empty(太虛) and it was floating in the universe by the Great Chi(大氣). 4. The knowledge about the Five stars(五星) in Huang Ti Nei Ching("黃帝內經") is presented in the section of Gemgwejineonron("金?眞言論"), Gigoupyondaeron("氣交變大論"), Youkwonjeonggidaeron("六元正紀大論").ln the method of identifying the Five stars(五星) presented the criteria of the brightness, the altitude, the colours and the orbit etc. 5. The jupiter which has twelve year's revolution cycle was the basis of determination on the Twelve constellation(12辰), the Twelve field of heaven(12次), the Twelve Houses in the ecliptic(黃道 12宮), the Twelve Earth's Branches(12支) and the Twelve fields of Earth(12分野) and also it became the origin of the duodecimals(12進法). 6. The saturn having about twenty-eight year's revolution cycle became the criterion in identifying the Twenty Eight Constellations(28宿) which was used as the coordinates of the Celestial sphere (天球). 7. By the Percussional movement(歲差運動), the position of polaris and the Vernal-Antumal equinox(春秋分点) were shifted. Therefore the ancient the Heaven Gate-Earth Door(天門-地戶) changed from the position of Sil-Byuk(室壁), Yik-Jin(翼軫). And the precisional movements brought about the concept of the WunHoyYunSe(元會運世) that is a method of dividing a period. Also the precisional movement gave three dimension(三次元) foundation interpreted the Sixty JiaZi (六十甲子) which is revolving through sixty years uniformally. 8. The Hypothesis of the Nine Houses and Eight Winds(九宮八風論) which is one field of the astrology of ancient polaris-nine Houses divination plate(太一九宮占盤) brought about the concept of deficiency and excess and the concept of the Wind Vice(風邪). In the Calendar System(曆法) presented in Huang Ti Nei Ching("黃帝內經") the tropical year of the Sun-Moon-Stars(日月星辰) and the revolution and the rotation of the earth give explanations the changes of Yin-Yang(陰陽) by the use of the ten Celestial branches(十干) and the twelve Earth branches(十二支).

We investigate astronomical materials listed in the book of Bibliographie Coreenne written by Maurice Courant. He classified ancient Korean books into nine Divisions (部) and thirty six Classes (類), and published them as three volumes (ranging from 1894 to 1896) and one supplement (in 1901). In total, 3,821 books including astronomical ones are listed together with information on physical size, possessional place, bibliographical note, and so forth. Although this book is an essential one in the field of Korea bibliography and contains many astronomical materials such as Cheon-Mun-Ryu-Cho 天文類抄, Si-Heon-Seo 時憲書, and Cheon-Sang-Yeol-Cha-Bun-Ya-Ji-Do 天象列次分野之圖, it has not been well known to the public nor to astronomical society. Of 3,821 catalogues, we found that about 50 Items (種) are related to astronomy or astrology, and verified that most of them are located in the Kyujanggak Royal Library 奎章閣. We also found an unknown astronomical chart, Hon-Cheon-Chong-Seong-Yeol-Cha-Bun-Ya-Ji-Do 渾天總星列次分野之圖. Because those astronomical materials are not well known to international astronomical community and there have been few studies on the materials in Korea, we here introduce and review them, particularly with the astronomical viewpoint.
