초등학교 교사보조로봇의 외형 디자인 요소에 대한 연구 - 체형에 따른 인상을 중심으로 - (A Study on External Form Design Factors of Teaching Assistant Robots for the Elementary School - With Emphasis on the Impression According to Body Feature -)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 교사보조로봇의 역할에 적합한 인상을 찾고, 그러한 인상을 발현하는 체형적 특징을 밝혀내어 교사보조로봇의 디자인 가이드라인을 제시하는 것이다. 교사보조로봇의 역할 이미지를 문헌과 요인분석을 통해 얻고, 인간의 체형요소로부터 교사보조로봇의 체형요소를 8가지로 구성하였다. 체형요소에 따라 변화된 삼차원 로봇 외형 샘플이 제작되어 실측 크기로 벽에 투영되었으며, 교사보조로봇의 주사용자인 아동이 로봇 샘플을 평가하였다. 평가 기준은 교사보조로봇의 역할 이미지, 연령과 성별에 관한 형용사, 선호도, 교사보조로봇으로서의 적합도였으며, 평가 결과는 분산분석, 상관분석에 의해 분석되었다. 실험결과로부터 아동의 교사보조로봇에 대한 역할 이미지에 관련이 있는 요소는 머리길이의 비율, 키, 가슴둘레의 비율, 허리둘레였다. 이 중 키와 허리둘레는 다른 요소에 비해 중요도가 높았으며, 특히, 허리둘레는 모든 역할 이미지에 높은 관련성이 있었다. 또한 다정하고 친절한 인상을 발현하고자 할 때는 허리둘레에 따라 머리길이의 비율을 조절해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 교사보조 로봇의 디자인 가이드라인을 제안하였다.

로봇은 살아 있을까? : 우리 반 교사보조로봇에 대한 유아의 인식 (Is Robot Alive? : Young Children's Perception of a Teacher Assistant Robot in a Classroom)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate young children's perceptions of a teacher assistant robot, IrobiQ. in a kindergarten classroom. The subjects of this study were 23 6-year-olds attending to G kindergarten located in E city, Korea, where the teacher assistant robot had been in operation since Oct. 2008. Each child responded to questions assessing the child's perceptions of IrobiQ's identity regarding four domains : it's biological, intellectual, emotional and social identity. Some questions asked the child to affirm or deny some characteristics pertaining to the robot and the other questions asked the reasons for the answer given. The results indicated that while majority of children considered an IrobiQ not as a biological entity, but as a machine, they thought it could have an emotion and be their playmate. The implications of these results are two folds : firstly, they force us to reconsider the traditional ontological categories regarding intelligent service robots to understand human-robot interaction and secondly, they open up an ecological perspective on the design of teacher assistant robots for use with young children in early childhood education settings.

바이모달 트램의 후진주차보조 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Reverse Parking Assistant Algorithm for Hi-modal Tram)

  • The bi-modal tram is under development as a new public transportation. The features of the tram are an extended wheel base and its length. This features result in difficulties for drivers on maneuvering the tram. Therefore, the all wheel steering system is applied to the articulated vehicle. The AWS system enables the vehicle to steer all the rear wheels independently and improves its driving characteristics. However, the bi-modal tram has a problem to move backward in the limited place because of its geometric feature and the AWS system. Hence, the reverse parking assistant algorithm for articulated vehicle is developed to solve the problems of the reverse parking. Using the vehicle model which includes the reverse parking assistant algorithm, the dynamic analysis is performed for several parking cases. By the result of the analysis, the stability and validity of the reverse parking assistant algorithm is verified.

준사서 교육을 위한 교과과정 연구 (A Study about Curriculum for Assistant Librarian Education)

  • 본 연구는 준사서를 위한 교과과정에 관한 조사 및 분석하는데 있다. 그 이유는 시대의 변화에 따라 도서관 업무도 변하고 그 와 관련된 준사서를 위한 교과과정 형성도 변해야 할 필요성이 있으며 또 이론보다 실무연습이 강조되어야 할 필요성 때문이다. 그 방안으로는 첫째 도서관현장에서 요구되는 새로운 지식을 파악하기 위해 문헌조사 및 도서관 현직 사서와의 면담을 통하여 준사서의 업무를 파악하고 둘째 문헌정보학 교수, 도서관 관리책임자 및 도서관 현직 준사서들에게 설문지를 배포하여 의견을 수렴함으로서 준사서를 위한 교과과정 형성에 새롭게 포함되어야 할 교과목을 선정하였다. 설문지 문항은 총 30개로 준사서를 위한 교과과정에 관련된 일반적인 사항과 시대적인 변화에 따른 준사서의 업무 및 준사서의 일상적인 업무들로 구분되었다. 5단계 리커트척도를 사용하여 측정하고 조사결과는 SAS(Statistical Analysis System)를 사용하여 분석했다.

응급구조학과 학생들의 호흡보조요법 경험, 지식이 수행자신감에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors influencing performance confidence in paramedic students by knowledge and experience of respiratory-assistant therapy)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors influencing performance confidence by knowledge and experience of respiratory-assistant therapy in paramedic students. Methods: A descriptive survey study used a convenience sample comprising 387 students from September 15 to October 31, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. Results: Knowledge was statistically significant by college(3-year), acquired certification, and observation experience in respiratory-assistant therapy. Performance confidence was statistically significant by sex, academic grade($3.0{\leq}$), acquired certification, and observation and performance experience in respiratory-assistant therapy. There was a significant correlation between knowledge and acquired certification, clinical practice, and major satisfaction. There was a significant correlation between performance confidence and acquired certification, clinical practice, major satisfaction, and knowledge. Regression analysis revealed that performance confidence accounted for 22.9% of the variance by academic grade(3.0~3.99), acquired certification, and major satisfaction. Conclusion: For paramedic students in clinical practice and in-school classes, it is important to improve performance confidence by combining training instruction with experience and education of respiratory-assistant therapy.

전담간호사의 역할갈등과 전문직 자아개념이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Role Conflict and Professional Self-Concept on Job Satisfaction of Physician Assistant Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study is investigate the role conflict, professional self-concept, and job satisfaction degree of the physician assistant nurses, and to grasp the factors affecting job satisfaction. Methods: Data were collected from September to October, 2018 and 156 physician assistant nurses working at one certified tertiary hospital, four general hospitals, using self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The degree of job satisfaction of the subject was 2.76 out of 5. The influential factors in the job satisfaction of the subjects were professional self-concept (β=.51, p<.001), and role conflict (β=-.29, p<.001), affected job satisfaction by 53.5%. Conclusion: In order to improve the job satisfaction of physician assistant nurses, the role conflict should be solved and a plan to form a positive self-concept should be sought. Therefore, through the identification of the roles that are appropriate to the situation in Korea and the legal and institutional positioning, they will need to be recognized and developed.

  • The effects of various process paramenters on the detailed aspects of the thermo-mechanical behavior of work roll and on the roll life are investigated via a series of process simulation, using a mathematical model presented previously. The process conditions are discussed that are favorable or optimal in terms of reducing roll wear in the front finishing stands.

  • Supersonic coaxial, axisymmetric, jets issuing from various kinds of dual coaxial nozzles were experimentally investigated. Four different kinds of coaxial, dual nozzles were employed to characterize the major features of the supersonic, coaxial, dual jets. Two convergent-divergent supersonic nozzles with an impinging angle in the jet axis of the annular jets were designed to have the Mach number 2.0 and used to compare the coaxial jet flows with those discharging from two sonic nozzles. The primary pressure ratio was changed in the range from 4.0 to 10.0 and the assistant jet ratio from 1.0 to 4.0. The results obtained show that the assistant jets from the annular nozzle affect the coaxial jet flows and an increase of both the primary jet pressure ratio and assistant jet pressure ratio produces longer supersonic length of the dual, coaxial jet.

  • This paper proposes an effective assistant model for considering the stator slot-opening effect on air gap flux density distribution in conventional interior-type permanent magnet (IPM) motor. Different from the conventional slot-opening effect analysis in surface-type PM (SPM) motor, a composite effect of slot-opening uniquely existing in IPM motor, which additionally causes enhancement of air gap flux density due to magnet flux path distortion in iron core between the buried PM and rotor surface. This phenomenon is represented by a proposed assistant model, which simply deals with this additional effect by modifying magnetic pole-arc using an effective method. The validity of this proposed analytical model is applied to predict the air gap flux density distribution in an IPM motor model and confirmed by finite element method (FEM).
