인휠 전기 구동 기반의 능동안전지원 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Algorithm for Advanced Driver Assist based on In-Wheel Hybrid Driveline)

  • 본 연구에서는 인휠 전기구동 시스템의 장점을 바탕으로 첨단능동안전지원 기술의 일종인 적응순항제어(Adaptive Cruise Control, ACC) 알고리즘의 고도화 방안을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 대상 차량은 전륜은 엔진에 의해, 후륜은 인휠모터에 의해 구동되는 4륜 하이브리드 구동계를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는데, 이러한 구성은 기존 내연기관 차량을 개선하여 차량의 출력을 증가시키거나 4륜 하이브리드 형태로의 변화를 용이하게 하는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 차량의 구성을 바탕으로 기본 상태에서는 엔진만을 이용하여 차간거리 제어를 수행하되, 젖은 노면 등 주행 환경에서 제어오차가 커지게 되면 후륜의 인휠모터를 구동하여 제어성능을 확보할 수 있는 ACC 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 ACC 알고리즘은 상기와 같은 방법으로 ACC 제어성능을 최적화함과 동시에 기존 4륜 자동차가 갖는 장점을 그대로 유지하도록 한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 고정밀 동역학 SW를 기반으로 대상 인휠모터 및 인휠 하이브리드 구동계, 해당 구동계 기반의 ACC 제어시스템을 모델링하였으며, 이를 통해 시뮬레이션 환경을 기반으로 제안된 알고리즘의 검증 결과를 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 정상류형 혈액 펌프의 일종인 축류형 혈액 펌프를 이용하여 혈액 펌프 시스템을 설계하였다. 이 시스템은 혈액 펌프, 신호 획득부, 인터페이스부, 신호 처리부로 구성되어 있고, 혈압과 심박수를 이용하여 혈압과 혈류량을 적절히 제어함으로써 좌심실의 기능을 보조할 목적으로 연구되었다. 전동 펌프가 회전할 때 생체내의 순환조건에 알맞도록 혈액 펌프의 회전수, 혈액 펌프에 걸리는 부하와 압력 정보를 적용하여 실험식을 만들어 제어에 이용하였으며 설계 제작된 모의 순환장치로써 실험한 결과 모의 혈관 내에서 적절한 혈압과 혈류의 제어가 가능하였고, 혈구의 변화량 실험 결과는 임시의 목적으로 사용가능 함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Nuclear robots should be developed for the reduction of radiation exposure, lower man hours, shorter power outage, and also improved worker safety concerns in performing hazardous and dangerous tasks. Among the components of a nuclear robot system, a robot control system equivalent to a human brain is a crucial point because a nuclear robot does not work without a control system. Therefore, in this paper, we will explain the requirements for a robot control system for a nuclear robot from a general point of view and also review the robot control systems of nuclear robots that were developed domestically, to assist a researcher beginning with the design for the control system of nuclear robots. The explained robot control system will be useful to develop the control system for industrial robots, home robots and other robots which are needed for tele-operation and are controlled through the internet.

Improvement of Vehicle Directional Stability in Cornering Based on Yaw Moment Control

  • In this research any abnormal motion of a vehicle is detected by utilizing the difference between the reference and actual yaw velocities as sell as the information on vehicle slip angle and slip angular velocity. This information is then used as a criterion for execution of the yaw moment control. A yaw moment control algorithm based on the brake control is proposed for improving the directional stability of the vehicle. The controller executes brake controls to provide each wheel with adequate brake pressures, which generate the needed yaw moment. It is shown that the proposed yaw moment control logic can provide excellent cornering capabilities even on low friction roads. This active control scheme can prevent a vehicle from behaving abnormally, and can assist normal drivers in coping with dangerous situations as well as experienced drivers.

  • In this paper, we describe about control system for eletro-hydraulic LVAD(Left Ventricular Assist Device) and control algorithm for two operation mode. One is asynchronous operation mode and the other is synchronous operation mode synchronized with natural heart's R pulse. We also present implementation method of software PI algorithm for velocity control of motor used in LVAD system and its response.

  • In this paper, three types of power control strategies for controlling a Fuel Cell Hybrid Electric Vehicle(FCHEV) are studied in view of fuel economy. The FCHEV has become one of alternatives for future vehicles since it does emit water only without any exhaust gas while it has a high well-to-wheel efficiency together with an energy saving due to regenerative braking. However, it has also several disadvantages such as the complexity of vehicle system, the increased weight and the extra battery cost. Among various power control strategies, a static power control strategy, a power assist control strategy and a fuzzy logic-based power control strategy are simulated and compared to show the effectiveness of each method.

도시의 불투수면 총량규제에서 원격탐사와 GIS의 활용 (Utilization of Remote Sensing and GIS in Aggregate Control of Urban Impervious Coverage)

  • This research is primarily intended to propose a new concept for aggregate control of impervious coverage using remote sensing and GIS. An empirical study for a case study site was conducted to demonstrate how a standard remote sensing and GIS technology can be used to assist in implementing the aggregate control for impervious coverage as intermediary between decision makers and scientists. Guidelines for a replicable methodology are presented to provide a strong theoretical basis for the standardization of factors involved in the aggregate control; the meaningful definition of land mosaic in terms of pervious areas, classification of pervious intensity, change detection for pervious areas. Detailed visual maps (e.g. estimation of impervious surface allowable) can be generated over large areas quickly and easily to increase the scientific and objective decision-making for the aggregate control. It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference to confirm the potential of remote sensing and GIS in the aggregate control for impervious coverage.

An Investigation of the Pump Operating Characteristics as a Novel Control Index for LVAD Control

  • This work presents a novel control index to regulate the pump speed of an axial flow blood pump for the left ventricular assist device (LVAD). The control index is based on the characterization of pump operating conditions such as normal or suction status. The pump operating characteristics reveal that a certain pulsatility relationship between the pump pressure difference and the pump flow is a unique index to identify the pump operating status under the diverse pump operating environments.

  • Statistical process cintrol is intended to assist operators of a stable system in monitoring whether a change has occurred in the process, and it uses several control charts as main tools. In design and use of control chart, it is rational that probability of false alarm is minimized in stable process and probability of detecting shifts is maximized in out-of-control. In this study, we establish bootstrap control limits for robust M-estimator chart by applying the bootstrap method, called resampling, which could not demand assumptions about pre-distribution when the process is skewed and/or the normality assumption is doubt. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows : bootstrap M-estimator control chart is developed for applying bootstrap method to M-estimator chart, which is more robust to keep ARL when process contain contaminate quality characteristic.

  • This paper describes the dual system technology of PC based control system at steel plant. Because PC is developed to be used in wide area such as Office Automation, Personal, It is cheaper and more portable than the present process control system, but is less stable and less reliable.
