  • This paper describes the mechanism of parallel micro machine platform and its feedback control system for acquiring high accuracy. The parallel micro machine platform that has developed has 5x5x5 work-space and sub-micron accuracy. For the high accuracy, the feedback control system is important but errors in machining and assembling are inevitable. Kinematic calibration is important for this reason. In this paper, various error components are introduced and the effects of error component are analyzed.

  • A pilot system for flexible automatic assembly has been built at ASRI in Seoul National University. The system is designed for being capable of assembling different variants and products. The system consists of three industrial robots, four free-flow conveyors, automatic tool changers, RCC and fixtures. This paper describes the concept and the technical solutions of the developed flexible assembly cell. Results of performance evaluation using colored petri net are also presented and discuss.

  • A lab-use home made control valve was made of easily obtainable materials and its performance was examined through a fluid flow experiment. By modifying the hole of a commercial valve a linearly adjustable valve for the flow control is made. The detail of valve assembling and modification is explained for the researchers who intend to employ a similar control valve.

  • 본 논문은 PID 필터링된 MPEG-2 TS 데이터로부터 DSM-CC PS 패킷을 추출하여 원래의 섹션으로 구성한 후 이더넷 프레임으로 재구성하는 모듈에 전송하는 패킷변환모듈을 위한 하드웨어 모듈 설계를 제안한다. 제안된 모듈은 ALTERA 사의 IP를 토대로 수정하고 보완한 것으로써 하드웨어 기술언어인 Verilog를 이용하여 설계하였으며 모의실험을 통해 결과를 검증하였다.

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • According to the manual of shoemaking, the urethane adhesive for dress shoe applicable to the cementing process in KS G 3116 has been steadily developed. The evaluation test result of urethane adhesive, which is a mathematical model of men's shoe on shoemaking, is presented. Also, the quality test result of urethane adhesive, which is a list of experiment for field application and a model of assembling component in each unit process is introduced.

  • Static characteristics of hemispherical aerodynamic bearing is studied theoretically. In this paper nonlinear equation of second order considering compressibility and slip effect of air is calculated by Newton-Raphson method. Results indicate that axial load capacity has maximum value when the inclination angle of groove is about 30$\circ$, the ratio of groove clearance to ridge clearance is two. We also present the design method of hemispherical Aerodynamic bearing based on it's load capacity taking into account manufacturing and assembling viewpoint.

  • This paper presents some ideas about an open architectural controller platform for semiconductor manufacturing equipment First, we proposed modular-typed software architecture. Each module is composed of commands and status sets. Second, common bus protocol is suggested in order to communicate with other modules. It is designed with visual c++ programming. Finally, job program is consisted of simple commands and status. Consequently, Controllers are easily developed with some required modular assembling.

  • OBS망에서 버스트의 충돌로 인한 버스트의 drop은 TCP의 성능에 중요한 영향을 끼치나, 기존의 drop policy에서는 이를 고려하지 않으며 TCP에 대한 연구로는 버스트의 assembling이 주를 이루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 OBS망에서 TCP의 재전송 문제를 drop policy와 연계하여 그 성능을 향상시키고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 drop policy는 버스트의 재전송 횟수가 더 작은 버스트를 drop시키는 TCP 기반 DP이다. TCP 기반 DP 모델과 일반적인 DP 모델의 성능을 ns­2를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 평가하며, 이 때 시간의 변화에 따른 TCP throughput과 패킷의 drop rate을 비교 분석한다.
