Understanding and Application of MILD combustion (마일드연소의 이해와 응용)

  • Recently, studies on Mild combustion have grown in many combustion application fields in the international combustion society. Compared with international activities in this field, domestic study in Korea has not been activated yet. This brief review aims to explain some essences of fundamental physics of Mild combustion and to introduce some recent application techniques of them. Fundamental physics of Mild combustion has been usually broken down into three aspects [1]; physical, thermodynamic, and chemical aspects. A major portion of Mild combustion physics is related to HiTAC (High Temperature Air Combustion) or HiCOT (High Temperature Combustion Technology). Although definition of Mild combustion is easily accepted among combustion engineers, combustion control in Mild combustion may be difficult without understanding essential physics of it. To encourage the research in this field, some representative cases will be introduced, and related essential techniques will be explained.

Legal Review of the Writing Requirements on Arbitration Agreement: The U.S. Statutes and Cases (미국법상 중재합의의 서면요건에 관한 고찰)

  • This paper reviews and analyzes the U.S. cases and statutes on the writing requirements of arbitration agreement. In order to discuss the legal aspects of writing requirement on arbitration agreement in the U.S., it is necessary to delve into both the contractual aspects of arbitration agreement and statutory specifications of the writing requirements of arbitration agreement. Statute of frauds and parole evidence rule were reviewed and employed to find legal implications on the writing requirement of arbitration agreement. Relevant cases were analyzed to verify how the courts have been responded to the conflicts regarding the validity of the arbitration contract with respect to writing requirement. International treaties absorbed into the U.S legal system were also reviewed and commented to analyze their implications on the writing requirement of arbitration agreement, including the UNCITRAL Model Arbitration Law and the New York Convention.

  • This paper analyses the main aspects the aspects of the Third-person shooting game and then investigates the released TPS games which are integrated with Role-playing game types of genres. Then we propose the technical points in designing and developing of the integrated action games to increase the immersion in playing the games. Also we propose the artifice in order to cut down the cost and enhance the portability to the mobile platform.

An Experimental Research on the Design Characteristics and Performance of the Entity-Relationship Model (개체관계 모형의 설계 특성과 성과에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This paper makes an attempt to find a systematic portion of the database design process, especially using the Entity-Relationship(E-R) model. Basically, we consider three aspects as a systematic portion of the database design process. They are, the strategy that a designer selects to design an E-R diagram, designer's cognitive style, and the knowledge and preference of the database designer. An experiment has been carried out in order to verify the systematic relationship between above-mentioned three aspects and the E-R modeling performance. The target system is a professional baseball system. A normative E-R diagram was constructed based upon 48 E-R diagrams produced during the experiment. The ANOVA process has been used to analyze the results. It has been found that there exist significant differences in query-answering capacity and the completeness of the E-R model among design methods. Individual differences in cognitive styles has not been found to be significantly related to the modeling performance.

  • Investigating electromagnetic emissions of inverter power sources for resistance welding existing special aspects of EMI measurements in the field of resistance welding machines resulting from the power rating and intermittent operation mode of these machines have to be taken into account. The characteristics of the internal switching processes determined by the behavior of the applied power semiconductors, snubber circuits and constructional aspects exert a great influence on the conducted emission of resistance welding inverters.

Utilitarian aspects 1. classification and numbers 2. traffic network and connection of segments of lines 3. expectation of getting the winning number in a lottery 4. interests in dealing in unharvested rice crop B. Aesthetic aspects 1. finding the optimum value and 2. successful candidates in accordance with election methods Every nation has its own peculiar customs and circumstances. Therefore, in order to achieve the expected results, the education of mathematics should develop what every nation has on its own and apply them to school education.

And the community elements of sustainable housing complex to make it better life in housing complex. The purpose of study is to suggest the evaluation factors sustainability and community for the planning of housing complex. Within this purpose, this study firstly deducing elements of sustainabilty and community. In the study, literature research method are used for data collection. The results of this study are showed as follows: First, the elements of sustainability are composed of social, economic and environment aspects. Second, the elements of community are composed of hardware, software, humanware aspects.

Theoretical Analyses of Science Teaching Models (과학수업모형들의 특성에 관한 이론적 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze science teaching models: Cognitive Conflict Teaching Model(CCTM), Generative Learning Model(GLM), Learning Cycle Model(LCM), Hypothesis-Testing Model(HTM), and Discovery Teaching Model(DTM). Using literature review, the models were analyzed and compared in several aspects; philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and assumptions, syntax, implementation environments, and probable effects. The major finding were as follows; 1. Science teaching models had been diverse features. In the comparisons of science teaching models, some differences and similarities were founded. These were different in the degree of similarity and emphasis. 2. CCTM and GLM resemble each other in philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and main assumptions, implementation environments, and probable effects. 3. LCM and HTM showed similarities in philosophical bases, syntax, and implementation environments. But differences were founded in other aspects These results showed that the diverse features of science teaching models should be considered in choosing a model for science teaching.

Prediction of Fatigue Crack Propagation Behavior Under Mixed-Mode Single Overload (혼합모드 단일과대하중 하에서 피로균열 전파거동의 예측)

  • In this study, experiments were tried on the mixed-mode I+II single overloading model which changes the loading mode of overload and fatigue load. Aspects of deformation field in front of the crack which is formed by mixed-mode I+II single overloading were experimentally studied. Then the shape and size of mixed-mode plastic zone were approximately calculated. The propagation behavior of fatigue crack was examined under the test conditions combined by changing the loading mode. The behavior of fatigue cracks were greatly affected by shapes of plastic deformation field and applying mode of fatigue load. Accuracy of prediction and evaluation for fatigue life may be improved by considering all aspects of deformation and behavior of fatigue cracks.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between the \"spirit of the times\" and the characteristics of each eras clothing in Renaissance and Post-modern Period. Theoretical studies about the \"spirit of times\" and the characteristics of clothing about each time were preceded. The results were as follows: Similarities of \"Spirit of times\" were 1) emphasis on humanity 2) anti-centralization 3) destruction of social status 4) deconstruction of christianity in Renaissance and modernism in Post-modern Period. Similarities of \"characteristics of clothing\" were 1) emphasis on erotic aspects of female body 2) emphasis of erotic aspects on clothing 3) tendency to revert to the old fashion 4) popularization of certain social groups fashion 5) tendency of deconstructionism in fashion 6) tendency of \"No match mix\" 7) androgynous style.f \"No match mix\" 7) androgynous style.ous style.
