  • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism and a curved inverse earn. The main objective is the development 0 fan algorithm of the earn-feeding mechanism and a CAD program. The computer program CACAFS (Computer-Aided Cam and Automatic Feeding System) is developed by using the state-of-the-art for CAD. Thus, the program CACAFS is independent of computer hardwares and also interactive. As the second part of paper, this paper introduces the technique for the mechanism simulation and graphics-oriented CAD programming. The first part of r paper presents the algorithm to analyze the motion of the inverse earn and the automatic feeding mechanism.

The main objective is the development of an algorithm of the cam-feeding mechanism and a CAD program.   • This paper presents development of finite element simulation program and analysis of hot extrusion through square dies with a mandrel. The design of extrusion dies is still an art rather than science. Die design for a new extrusion process is developed from through in-plant trials. In the present paper, a three-dimensional steady-state finite element simulation program is developed. Steady-state assumption is used for both the analyses of deformation and temperature. The developed program is effectively used to simulate hollow extrusion of several sections. Distributions of temperature effective strain rate, mean strain rate and mean stress are studied for an effective design of extrusion dies.

  • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism subjected by the motion of a curvilinear inverse cam. The main objection is the development of computer-aided design (CAD) program for simulating the motion of the cam-feeding mechanism using computer-graphics. A computer program CACAFS (Computer-Aided Cam and Automatic Feeding System) is independent of computer hardware used. The program is also interactive using a menu-selection technique. As the second part of the paper for the motion simulation of the cam-feeding system, this paper discusses the state-of-art for CAD. The first part of the paper presents the algorithm to simulate the notion of the cam-feeding mechanism.

  • Recently, convergence engineering is emerged technology to make a whole new conceptual methodology attractively more than we previously developed the distinct technology for engineering college students particularly. Based on convergence methodology, we utilize the open-source electronic prototyping platform named Arduino enabling users to create interactive electronic objects and the automata that is generally referred to a wooden moving, mechanical device or art of work in order to develop the creative convergence education program. We have confidence that our education program can lead the development of automata and information technology simultaneously and can nurture talented students who have creativity and originality in engineering college.

Compression Artifact Reduction for 360-degree Images using Reference-based Deformable Convolutional Neural Network

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient reference-based compression artifact reduction network for 360-degree images in an equi-rectangular projection (ERP) domain. In our insight, conventional image restoration methods cannot be applied straightforwardly to 360-degree images due to the spherical distortion. To address this problem, we propose an adaptive disparity estimator using a deformable convolution to exploit correlation among 360-degree images. With the help of the proposed convolution, the disparity estimator establishes the spatial correspondence successfully between the ERPs and extract matched textures to be used for image restoration. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides reliable high-quality textures from the reference and improves the quality of the restored image as compared to the state-of-the-art single image restoration methods.

  • Classes are apt to include useless codes and inadequate inheritance relationship between them when they are being updated, inserted and deleted during the evolution process of object-oriented software, leading to lots of errors. Conventional class restructuring methods degrade the effectiveness of reusability since they go with preprocesses such as dependency analysis and estimation of class cohesion and run statically. In this paper, we propose a new C++ class-restructuring algorithm that does not require those preprocesses and runs dynamically by improving ART learning algorithm in the artificial neural networks.

  • Color is an important subject of interest for cognitive developmental stages of children and it also correlate to emotional and physical development. Children can acquire concept of color by 'play'. Color play can be experienced to children through diversity activity and theses activities contain creative craft art activity. The color-paly with art activity for kids can be called 'kids color-design play'. Recently, indoor playgrounds are rapidly grow-up because parent's concern degree that about play activity get higher. The indoor playground being enlargement and it contains various paly contents. Color-design play is also enacted animatedly in kids indoor playground. The great part of color-design plays are enacted through program that needs teaching. On the other hand, color-design play facility that children can play spontaneously is not composed sufficiently. Therefore this study aim at design proposal of 'Kids color-design playground apparatus' in indoor playground.

  • 21세기 지식 정보 사회에서는 다양한 학문 분야의 영역을 넘나드는 융합적이고 창의적인 사고를 하는 통섭적인 인재가 필요하다. 이에 우리나라에서는 STEAM 교육을 강화하고 있는 추세이고 관련된 연구도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 대부분 과학중심의 STEAM 교육이 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 예술을 통해 얻는 교육적 가치를 고려해 볼 때 STEAM 교육에서 예술을 보조적 수단으로 여기는 경향은 개선되어야 한다고 생각한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 스크래치와 로봇을 활용한 예술 교과 중심의 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 설계하고자 한다.

  • This research aimed to understand the relationship between comparative superiority elements of the supply chain activities for food supplies in the hotel industry. The samples are obtained from exclusive hotels located in the Seoul area. A statistic package program called SPSS was employed to conduct reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results of a multiple regression analysis between supply chain management and food production strategies were as follows; company's characters and cooperative relations with suppliers had a significant impact on cost while quality was significantly affected by company's characters, information system, cooperative relations with suppliers, and supply chain activities. It was revealed that all factors had a significant impact on flexibility and delivery date.
