The architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry is beginning to utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM), benefiting from the resulting improved visualization and productivity, better coordination of construction drawings, building documents that contain embedded links to virtual information, faster delivery, and lower costs. However, construction firms often face challenges when reorganizing their company structure to take full advantage of these benefits. This paper proposes an organizational structure that will enable engineering-construction firms to successfully adopt and implement BIM for major construction projects. A case study research method is utilized based on in-depth interviews with four BIM directors and vice presidents charged with BIM adoption, implementation and education. Organizational transformation challenges and recommendations are discussed in detail for those considering implementing BIM in the engineering-construction industry. Topics such as organizational changes in the firm, costs and benefits of BIM implementation, strategies of BIM implementation (execution) plan, BIM education, risks and opportunities associated with BIM, BIM software, contract methods, human resource management and new hires, and the future implementation and direction of BIM are discussed in detail.

호텔은 단순한 건축물이라는 의미를 벗어나 한 시대의 문화적 예술적 정보를 담은 건축물이며, 또한 호텔이 위치한 지역적 문화를 체험할 수 있는 장소로서의 성격을 지니고 있음에 따라 그 지역을 대표하는 상징적인 건축물이라 할 수 있다. 특히 최근 국제적인 관광도시인 제주는 지역의 특성과 문화를 대표할 수 있는 다기능적이고 체계적인 호텔건축계획이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 서귀포시의 특급관광호텔의 현황을 파악하고, 공용공간을 중심으로 공용공간의 구성형식 및 공간구성 유형 등 평면구성적 특성에 대해 분석하여 향후 호텔 건축설계에 적용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서귀포시에 위치한 특급관광호텔 9개소이며, 이용객이 집중되는 공용공간을 연구범위로 한정하였다. 연구방법은 참고문헌과 선행연구를 중심으로 호텔건축에 대해 고찰하고 조사대상 호텔에 대한 현장방문을 시행하여 일반적인 현황을 파악하고 건축계획적 요소들과 공간구성 유형에 대하여 조사 및 분석을 실시하였다. 이용객이 집중되는 공용공간을 연구범위로 한정하여, 건축계획적인 측면에서 각 공간의 수직적 수평적 결합방식, 각 공간으로 진입하는 동선형태 등과 관련된 공간구성형식과 공간구성유형을 분석하였다.

본 연구는 도시의 주택 재개발사업으로 인해 점차 해체되고 있는 지역 공동체의식의 회복을 위한 하나의 대안으로, 공동주택 중앙광장의 물리적 입지에 따른 구조적 특성에 주목하고자 한다. 이는 중앙광장이 단순히 공동주택 거주자들만을 위한 내적이고 자기 완결형의 공간으로 기능하는 것이 아니라, 주변지역 주민들과 소통하고 교류하며 지역 공동체의 거점으로 활성화된 열린 공간으로써 그 범위가 확장될 수 있음을 의미하는 것이다. 연구의 가설은 다음과 같다. 공동주택 중앙광장의 물리적 입지에 의한 구조적 특성은 주변 지역에 대한 공동주택 거주자들의 심리적 개방성과 주변지역 거주자들이 갖는 심리적 접근성, 그리고 지역 공동체의식에 각각 영향을 주게된다. 또한 이러한 개방성과 접근성으로 표현되는 심리적 거리는 지역 공동체의식과 상호 밀접한 관계를 형성한다. 연구를 위해 우선 중앙광장이 단지 외부를 향해 열린 정도에 따라 이를 열린 구조와 닫힌 구조로 유형화하였다. 이를 토대로 동일 지역 안의 비슷한 조건을 가진 신림 푸르지오와 방학 대상타운 현대, 그리고 관악 푸르지오와 방학 삼성 래미안 1단지를 대상지로 선정, 각각 공동주택 거주자들과 주변지역 거주자들의 두 개 집단으로 분류한 후 총 여덟개의 집단을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였다. 지역 공동체의식과 심리적 개방성, 심리적 접근성의 측정 등을 실시한 결과 위의 연구 가설들이 모두 성립함을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 열린 구조의 중앙광장에서 지역 공동체의식과 심리적 개방성, 접근성 등이 각각 높게 나타났으며, 심리적 개방성과 접근성이 높은 경우 지역 공동체의식 역시 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 중앙광장의 물리적 입지성과 지역 주민들의 심리적 개방성, 접근성, 지역 공동체의식이 상호 연관관계를 형성하고 있음을 구체적인 대상지를 통해 분석, 검증하였다는 데에 의의를 두며, 향후 실천적인 중앙광장의 계획과 조성을 위한 하나의 이론적 근거가 될 수 있을 것이다.

일반적으로 기술혁신전략이 먼저 수립되고 이를 바탕으로 기술혁신활동이 수행된다. 기존 기술혁신관리 프로세스 연구에서는 기술혁신활동이 순차적 혹은 비선형적으로 존재하거나 선형성을 나타내지만, 특정 기술혁신활동이 특정 시점에 나타나고 없어질 수 있다고 주장한다. 본 연구는 휴대폰 시장이 피처폰 중심에서 스마트폰 중심으로 재편된 최근 10년간 상황에서 스마트폰 산업을 대상으로 기술혁신활동의 실행패턴이 어떻게 진행되는지 분석하고, 이러한 실행패턴과 기술혁신전략이 어떠한 맥락에서 동작하는지 규명한다. 실증분석결과, 기술혁신활동은 기술혁신전략에 따라 시작 시점이 다르고, 다층적 기술혁신활동의 형태로 나타난다는 것을 확인했다. 기술혁신활동은 일정한 패턴이 존재하지만, 외부환경 변화로 기술혁신전략의 변화가 생겼을 경우에는 기술혁신활동의 단계에 대한 중요도가 달라져 앞선 기술혁신활동이 생략된다는 것을 확인했다. 혁신자 전략을 추구하는 기업이 빠른 외부환경 변화에 적응하지 못하고 미흡한 기술혁신활동을 했을 경우 기술혁신전략의 변경을 요구받게 되고 이것은 기업의 생존에 막대한 영향을 끼친다는 것을 확인했다.

과거에는 경영의사결정에 적절한 정보를 적시에 제공할 수 없기 때문에 불확실한 경영을 했으며 경영자는 주관적인 경험과 판단 등에 의지하였다. 정보기술의 발달과 더불어 발전한 정보시스템과 기술은 비즈니스 운영면에서 고도의 효율성과 생산성을 달성하기 위하여 관리자가 활용할 수 있는 가장 중요한 도구 중에 속한다. 이것의 효과는 비즈니스 실무와 관리행태의 변화가 동반되었을때 더욱 크게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 기업의 전략적 의사결정에 필요한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 정보기술을 활용하여 필요한 정보를 획득하고 문제해결 방법론을 시뮬레이션 하여 객관적이고 정형화된 경영의사결정을 지원하는 시스템을 개발하기위한 기능요소 및 솔루션을 구조화하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 전략의사결정지원 시스템은 기업경영 지원기술에 관련된 것으로 IT기술을 활용하여 경영의사결정에서 요구되는 전략의사결정 문제에 있어서 최적의 시나리오를 선택하도록 하여 신뢰성 있는 기업경영에 도움을 줄 수 있는 시스템이다. 전략의사결정시스템은 개별사업 시뮬레이션과 전사사업 시뮬레이션, 전사사업 포트폴리오 관리 등 크게 세 가지 기능부문으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 본 시스템은 객관적이고 정형화된 컨설팅 결과를 제공함으로써 신뢰성을 보장할 수 있고, 급변하는 경영 여건에 효율적으로 대응할 수 있는 유용한 효과를 기대할 수 있다.

These days the copyright plays a significant role in various fields of creative works and it has expanded dramatically into unprecedented ways. In Korea, architectural works copyright cases are rare due to the lack of information and understanding of the architectural works copyright. Architectural works copyright can promote architects' creative activities and enhance the quality of architectural works as art. Nevertheless, there is little effort to advance the studies of architectural works copyright in the architectural design area. Under these circumstances, this research attempts to share the basic case laws and remedies for various architectural works copyright issues in the U.S. cases. This Article examines the Thomas Shine v. David M. Childs and Skidmore Owings & Merrill, LLP Case which is the most recent case as I could reach. This case is about a story between two architects, one is from a very prestigious architectural design firm and the other, once Yale Architectural student, now practices his design work as an up-and-coming architect. A close examination of this case will provide a legal and architectural spectrum of copyright. That is, it will make it more specific how to solve the copyright infringement. Artistic and technological contexts are overlapped in Architectural works copyright as its inherent characteristics. Therefore, different ways from other copyrighted works are needed to access the untangled equations of the architectural works copyright protection. In addition, more comprehensible and specific regulations that can impose a remedy more suited to the architectural works copyright violations are needed and they should enable architects to fulfill their architectural activities under wide range of copyright protection. Moreover, in prior to all efforts to handle those equations, fundamental knowledge of architectural works copyright is required to improve the copyright protection in the architectural design area as well as to provide for the globalizing design practice. Ultimately, all of these efforts will be rewarded when constant researches based on Korean and other countries' architectural copyright cases can support them and it would be great if this research can set the stage for resolving expected copyright conflicts within the architectural design area.

전산화 대상 규모가 확대되면서 새로운 방식의 데이터 모델링 방법론이 필요하게 됨에 따라 자료 설계라는 것에 최근 들어 1980년대 초반 못지 않게 이른 바 데이터 거버넌스 혹은 데이터 질 등의 화두의 모습으로 큰 관심이 재연되고 있다. 그러나 데이터 모델링에 대한 확고한 견해를 가지고 있지 못하기 때문에 막상 데이터베이스 설계를 실무적으로 소화해 내기에는 적지 않은 어려움을 겪게 된다 본 논문에서는 업무의 요구 형성/분석 단계부터 데이터베이스 구현까지 최종 단계까지를 체계적인 방법론을 통해 정보시스템의 데이터 모델을 창출하는 정규화 중시의NS방법론을 적용한 설계방법과 기존의 관행에 의해 역정규화를 어쩔 도리 없이 용인하고 마는 정보공학(Information Engineering, 약칭 IE)방법론 기반의 설계방법과 비교한다. 동일한 업무를 대상으로 설계된 데이터 설계 산출물을 기준으로 각종 측면에서 비교해 봄으로써 정규화 중시 기반의 체계적 방법론이 기업의 정보시스템의 성능 향상에 어느 정도 기여하는지를 정량 파악하였다. 비교 실험 결과, 개체 설정의 타당성, 설계의 균형성 지표인 사각고리형 경로 유무, 그리고 속성중복률 면에서 모두 NS방법론적 설계가 우수하였다.

As the contemporary lifestyle has changed and the time to enjoy hobbies is increased, people prefer the DIY furniture that can be used at homes by manufacturing their own unique furnitures. Especially, the architecture of our country handed down traditionally or the setting-up technique used in furnitures are the techniques to maintain firmness even after long time passes by. Accordingly, in order to supply a firm setting-up technique mostly used by craftsman in the manufacture of DIY furniture and to apply this easily, a web site and 3D program system are required. In order to do so, it is important to prepare the system of setting-up that can be followed easily first by classifying the difficulty of setting-up that the general public can follow easily without having difficulties among the types of setting-up. Therefore, this study has performed a systematic arrangement by the order of difficulty for the types of setting-up that are investigated and arranged to set the purpose as presenting materials that are helpful so the furnitures using setting-up can be manufactured even in the manufacture of general DIY furnitures. Accordingly, the investigated results of setting-up difficulty are applied in the order of difficulty to a 3D program and as users select the suitable setting-up for their own standard, it is expected to be utilized in DIY furnitures that are manufactured directly.

Environmental issues have become gradually important around the globe, which has increased society needs for the environment-friendly construction. In an effort to realize the environmental protection and energy efficiency, the British BREEAM has been developed, which is followed by the USA LEED, Japanese CASBEE and other national certification systems based on their own conditions. In this end, the Republic of Korea has implemented its own certification system named GBCS(Green Building Certification System) in 2002, and now actively promoted the G-SEED(Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design) after GBCS modifications and amendments. The purpose of this study is to identify possible problems to be encountered in the process of the G-SEED for office facilities and to provide relevant solutions. In this end, three office facilities have been selected, which had obtained the G-SEED. This study has analyzed reasons of change of assessment scores between the preliminary certification and the main certification phases, has identified problems through in-depth interviews with practicing professionals(design, construction, eco-friendly consulting firm) and then has reached a conclusion for improvements. This study will be possibly used as reference materials for improvements of the green building certification system, and further detailed studies on respective parts will be required for improvements.

기업이 사업 전략을 수립하고 이를 지원할 조직 인프라를 구축하는 전략적 연계는 기업의 경영 활동에 중요한 과제이며 경영학계의 주요 연구 대상이다. 조직을 운영하는데 있어 효율적인 전략과 정보시스템은 조직의 성공여부를 좌우하기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 조직과 정보기술간의 전략적 연계에 관한 연구의 연장선상에 있는 전략적 연동모형을 분석틀로 도입하였다. 전략적 연동 모형은 사업전략, 조직 인프라, 정보기술전략, 정보기술 인프라라는 네 개의 요소를 갖는다. 이러한 전략적 연동 모형이 실제 기업 현장에서는 어떠한 형태로 나타나고 있는지 고찰해 보기로 한다. 사례기업은 IT로 경영 혁신을 추진하는 충남 공주에 위치한 농업벤처기업이다. 주력 제품은 한살림과 초록마을 등에 납품하는 두유와 채소액이다. 이 회사의 제반 경영활동을 전략적 연동모형을 통해 분석하여 기업전략과 정보기술 전략간에 존재하고 있는 적합도(fit)를 탐구해 본다.
