  • Intensive pulsed light (IPL) technique enables energy to be transferred to a target substance in a short time per millisecond at room temperature under an ambient atmosphere. Due to the growing interest in flashlights with excellent functionality among various technologies, light-sintering research on metal particles using IPL has been carried out representatively. Recently, examples of the application of IPL to various material synthesis have been reported. In the present article, various strategies using IPL including the manufacture of flexible electrodes and the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks were discussed. In particular, the process of improving oxidation resistance and electrical conductivity of electrodes, and also the metal-organic framework synthesis from metal surface were explained in detail. We envision that the review article can be of great help to researchers who investigate electrode manufacturing and material synthesis using IPL.

  • It is required to design and implement secure web applications to provide safe web services. For this reason, there are several scoring frameworks to measure vulnerabilities in web applications. However, these frameworks do not classify according to seriousness of vulnerability because these frameworks simply accumulate score of individual factors in a vulnerability. We rate and score vulnerabilities according to probability of privilege acquisition so that we can prioritize vulnerabilities found in web applications. Also, our proposed framework provides a method to score all web applications provided by an organization so that which web applications is the worst secure and should be treated first. Our scoring framework is applied to the data which lists vulnerabilities in web applications found by a web scanner based on crawling, and we show the importance of categorizing vulnerabilities according to privilege acquisition.

  • A web application running on the Internet is causing many difficulties for a program developer, and it requires to process multiple sessions at the same time due to the occurrence of excessive traffic. Web applications should be able to process concurrent requests efficiently and in real time. Node.js is a single-threaded server-side JavaScript environment implemented in C and C ++ as one of the latest frameworks to implement event models across the entire stack. Nodes implement JavaScript quickly and robust to achieve the best performance using a JavaScript V8 engine developed by Google. In this paper, it will be explained the operation principle of Node.js, which is a lightweight real-time web server that can be implemented in JavaScript for real-time responsive web applications. In addition, this application was practically implemented through automatic alignment system for group scheduling to demonstrate event-based real-time response web processing.

  • As the information technology advances and the number of internet users increase, the electronic commerce has been discussed actively in the academic and industrial circles. Though the reference model is important as a guide to the study on electronic commerce at this time, current studies on the reference model are inclined to emphasize on the specified area, not on overall area. In this respect, this paper aims to provide the synthetic reference model - named the ECGR model(Electronic Commerce Generic Reference model) - and its application plans. First, for these purposes, several frameworks and reference models of electronic commerce are compared and analyzed from the various viewpoints. Second, several factors for the development of the reference model are proposed. Finally, the ECGR model is developed and its application plans are suggested. The ECGR model provides a conceptual and analytical apparatus to interpret the profound understanding of electronic commerce and presents the fundamental framework related to the electronic commerce projects. According to the expansion of electronic commerce and the development of related information technology, the ECGR model must be modified.

  • This paper introduces a development of component based framework of supply-chain management. The existing legacy system, which is not designed for object-oriented paradigm, is re-modeled using unified modeling language. Components are extracted from the legacy application, and frameworks are also designed in order to increase productivities of software development. Design issues concerning component and framework development are discussed with real situation. Performance and development productivity issue are also discussed with discussing component size and scope. A real case is presented in connection with the discussed issues.

  • [ $\circ$ ] Enterprise architecture is essential for ROI of e-Enterprise. $\circ$ An architecture is described from business, application, data and technical views and these must be complete and consistent. $\circ$ UML-based CBD is currently the best approach to obtaining architecture-centric, flexible and interoperable systems. $\circt$ Reuse of architecture, components, shared services and app frameworks is key to achieving both quality and productivity. $\circ$ Web service, the NBT, cannot be tapped without the architecting capability. $\circ$ Architects with world-class domain as well as software engineering knowledge are key to success of Korean software industry.

  • Catalysts based on organic compounds, transition metal and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been applied to degrade or remove organophosphorus toxic compounds (OPs). During the last 20 years, various MOFs were designed and synthesized to suit application purposes. MOFs with $Zr_6$ based metal node and organic linker were widely used as catalysts due to their tunability for the pore size, porosity, surface area, Lewis acidic sites, and thermal stability. In this review, effect on catalytic efficiency between MOFs properties according to the structure, stability, particle size, number of connected-ligand, organic functional group, and so on will be discussed.

  • Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are porous crystalline polymers in which organic units are linked by covalent bonds and have a regular arrangement at the atomic level. Recently, the COFs have been much attention in bio-medical area such as bio-imaging, drug delivery, and therapeutics. These 2D nanoparticles are proving their value in nanomedicine due to their large surface area, functionalization through functional groups exposed on the surface, chemical stability due to covalent bonding, and high biocompatibility. The high ω-electron density and crystallinity of COFs makes it a promising candidate for bioimaging probes, and its porosity and large surface area make it possible to be utilized as a drug delivery vehicle. However, the low dispersibility in water, the cytotoxicity problems of COFs are still challenged to be solved in the future. In this regard, several efforts that increase the degree of dispersion through functionalization on the surface of COFs for the application to the biomedical field have been reported. In this review, we would like to describe the advantages and limitations of COFs for bio-imaging and anti-cancer treatment.
