용모(容貌)·선호(選好)·성격정보(性格情報)가 아동(兒童)의 대인매력(對人魅力)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Information about Appearance Preference, and Personality Traits on Children's Attraction to Unacquainted Peers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of information of appearance, peer preference, and personality traits on children's attraction to unacquainted same sex peers, and to determine the relative importance of the three types of information for the selection of a friend. The subjects of this study were 160 (80 boys and 80 girls) second grade children in Seoul. A Preference Questionnaire was administered in Session I to determine the likes of each subjects. The modified Preference Questionnaire (Reaves, 1981) was used. The subjects were then randomly assigned to one of eight experimental conditions. In Session II, subjects were shown pictures of attractive and unacttractive children, described as having a positive or negative character, with preference similar Of dissimilar to their own. Then they were administered the Interpersonal Attraction Scale (Reaves, 1981). The data were analyzed by three-way ANOVA, $Scheff\acute{e}$ test, and $X^2$. The results of this study were as a follows: The physically attractive stimulus child was preferred to the physically unattractive stimulus child. The stimulus child with preferences similar to the subjects' was preferred to the stimulus with dissimilar preferences. The stimulus with positive personality traits was preferred to the stimulus ehild with a negative personality. A difference in order of importance among the variables with regard to their influence on attraction ratings was found. Personality had stronger influence on attraction ratings than appearance or preference.

여고생의 의복행동과 자기효능감 및 감각추구성향과의 관련 연구 (Female Adolescents' Clothing Behavior as Related to Self-Efficacy and Sensation Seeking)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to identify the effects of the self-efficacy, sensation seeking and delinquency on female adolescents' clothing behavior, and 2) to identify the differences in self-efficacy, sensation seeking, deliquency and clothing behavior in relation to the demographic variables. The data were collected from 435 high school girls living in Seoul, via a self-administered questionnaires, and were analyzed by factor analysis, Peason's correlation, multiple regression, one-way ANOVA and SNK test. The result of this study were as follows: As the result of analyzing the effects of self-efficacy, efficacy, sensating seeking and delinquency on each of clothing behavior variables, fashion leadership was explained by the factors such as social self-efficacy, delinquency and boredom susceptibility, and psychological clothing dependence by boredom susceptibility, social self-efficacy, and thrill and adventure, clothing exhibition by boredom susceptibility, delinquency, and general self-efficacy, social approval by boredom susceptibility, and general self-efficacy, preference for up-to-data style by delinquency, boredom susceptibility by delinquency, boredom susceptibility. There were significant differences between the two types of school in general self-efficacy, thrill and adventure, experience seeking, delinquency, preference for up-to-data style, and appearance related delinquency. Location of school had the effects on experience seeking, delinquency, fashion leadership, and appearance related delinquency, and socioeconomic status on fashion leadership.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the available date to improve the uniform e of the woman employee of the department more aesthetical and functional on the base of the former studies on their situation of uniform wearing. The process of the study was to compare and evaluate the studied uniforms made of elastic material with the one two times after pattern amendment. The nine subjects composed of threes of 20s, 30s and 40s of age and the evaluators were 5 clothing experts. The 5 scored scale of sensory evaluation method was used to evaluate the appearance and the moving function. The data were analysed with mean and t-test. The results were as flowers: 1.The material of blouse was changed with Poly-span to improve the appearance and the moving function. 2.The new uniform got far more good evaluations in the appearance and the moving function showing the significant difference in p<.001 level. 3.The improved uniform blouse pattern was presented fig2 and fig3.

외모 관련 강박행동(外貌 關聯 强迫行動)이 바디이미지에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effects of Compulsive Behavior related to Appearance on Body Image)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine which factors among addiction buying behavior had been affected by body image. 235 female college students were surveyed for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, multiple regression were used. As the results, generally there were significantly correlated among body image, diet addiction, binge eating, cosmetic surgery addiction, compulsive behavior and shoplift tendencies. Multiple regression results revealed that diet addiction, cosmetic surgery addiction, binge eating accounted for 34.8% of the explained variance in weight obsession. Also, regression results indicated that cosmetic surgery addiction, self-esteem, and diet addiction, and cosmetic surgery obession accounted for 20.4% of the explained variance in appearance orientation. Finally, regression results pointed out that self-esteem and diet obession accounted 22.3% of the explained variance in appearance evaluation. Based on these results, fashion marketing strategies would be suggested.

개인적 요인 및 환경적 요인이 청소년의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 (The effects of personal and environmental factors on adolescent' self-esteem)

  • The effects of personal(gender, physical growth) and environmental(communication with parent, intimacy of friendship, school performance, and satisfaction of school-life) factors on adolescent's self-esteem were examined in a samlpe of 525 first and second grades in middle school. The subdomains of the self-esteem were peer-related self, home self, teacher-related self, academic self, physical appearance self, physical competence self, personality self, and general self. T-test, Pearson's correlation, and regression were used as statistical analysis. Results were as follows. First, there was evidence of a gender difference in the level of the subsdomains of self-esteem: teacher-related, physical-appearance, physical-competence, and personality. Second, the factor which was the most powerful predictor of each subdomain of the self-esteem was as follows 1) the most powerful predictor of the peer-related self was the intimacy of friendship, 2) the most powerful predictor of the home self was the communication with parent, 3) the most powerful predictor of the teacher-related self was the satisfaction of school-life, 4) the most powerful predictor of the academic self was the school performance, 5)the most powerful predictor of the physical-appearance self, the physical competence self, and the personality self was the satisfaction of school-life, 6) the most powerful predictor of the general self was the school performance.

A Comparative Study on Clothing Behaviors of Elderly Men and Women

  • The elderly are faced with unique problems in regard to their clothing life, which require solutions from various perspectives. Given these facts, this study was aimed at reviewing and comparing the clothing behaviors of elderly people in order to provide some basic data which apparel businesses targeting the elderly might find useful. The elderly people aged 55 and older and living in Seoul were sampled at random for a survey. The survey used the methods of interview and self-administered questionnaire. 418 questionnaires were distributed to women, and 504 to men. The collected data were processed using SPSS/PC for factor analysis, correlation, single-factor ANOVA and T-test. The results of the survey can be summarized as follows ; 1. Among 8 factors determining the clothing behaviors of elderly people, the importance of clothes and manageability of clothes scored highest on average, while conformity with one's peers scored lowest. 2. The clothing behaviors of elderly people differed significantly depending on their demographic variables. 3. The level of satisfaction with one's life and appearance differed significantly depending on their demographic variables. 4. Clothing behaviors of elderly people were closely correlated with their level of satisfaction with their life and appearance.

자극물의 제시방법에 따른 대인지각에서의 편파 (The experimental bias in person perception as results of presentation method of stimulus)

  • The purpose of this study was (1) to identify the experimental bias which could appear person perception as results of presentation methods (2) to find out the most desirable method in presentation of stimulus. The research was a quasi experiment and the subjects were 773 male and female undergraduate students. The experimental instruments consisted of a set of stimulus and semantic differential scales of 7- point hi-polar adjectives. The collected data were analyzed by Factor Analysis, ANOVA(analysis of variance), Scheffe's multiple range test. The independent variables were presentation orders and presentation time of stimulus. The results were as follows: First, five factors which were potency, sociality, appearance, evaluation, activity impression dimensions emerged to account for the methods of development of stimulus. Second, the presentation order of stimulus in the combination of four stimuli sets had significant effects on the 3 impressional factors(sociality, appearance, evaluation). The presentation order of stimuli in the combination of eight stimuli set had significant effects on the 3 impressional factors(potency, sociality, appearance) and the presentation order of stimuli in the combination of eight stimuli set showed a significant effect on memorization of stimulus and the results support the recency effect. Third, the presentation time of stimuli had significant effects on the 2 impressional factors(potency, activity). 30 seconds presentation as well as free duration time resulted less experimental bias than 3 seconds presentation.

작은 유방 여성을 위한 유방 볼륨업 패드의 비교 착의평가 (Comparative Evaluation of Wearing Breast Volume-up Pads for Small-Breasted Women)

  • Volume-up pads are the most common and easiest way to make women with small breasts beautiful. In this study, to develop a volume-up brassiere pad with excellent wearing effects and appearance, 24 different types of volume-up pads commercially available in the online market were investigated and then 11 types were purchased. Among these eleven types, four pads (PAD1, PAD2, PAD3, PAD4) with distinct shapes and materials were selected through a pre-test. They were compared to the newly developed pad for research (PAD5). The results of the study follow. The results of evaluating appearance when wearing the developed pad (PAD5) were significantly higher than that of other pads, and the appearance evaluation score for the full-cup type pad was excellent. In the wearing satisfaction evaluation result, PAD5 showed generally excellent evaluation scores, and in the case of the touch, preference for the fabric material was higher than that of the silicon pad. In the evaluation of motion adaptability, the developed PAD5 showed generally excellent evaluation scores in all movements, indicating that the full-cup type pads had better motion adaptability than the partial-type pads.

150℃에서 원전 2차측 배관재료의 Cr함량에 따른 유체가속부식 특성 (Effect of Cr content on the FAC of pipe material at 150℃)

  • Flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) of the carbon steel piping in nuclear power plants (NPPs) has been major issue in nuclear industry. During the FAC, a protective oxide layer on carbon steel dissolves into flowing water leading to a thinning of the oxide layer and accelerating corrosion of base material. As a result, severe failures may occur in the piping and equipment of NPPs. Effect of alloying elements on FAC of pipe materials was studied with rotating cylinder FAC test facility at $150^{\circ}C$ and at flow velocity of 4m/s. The facility is equipped with on line monitoring of pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen(DO) and temperature. Test solution was the demineralized water, and DO concentration was less than 1 ppb. Surface appearance of A 106 Gr. B which is used widely in secondary pipe in NPPs showed orange peel appearance, typical appearance of FAC. The materials with Cr content higher than 0.17wt.% showed pit. The pit is thought to early degradation mode of FAC. The corrosion product within the pit was enriched with Cr, Mo, Cu, Ni and S. But S was not detected in SA336 F22V with 2.25wt.% Cr. The enrichment of Cr and Mo seemed to be related with low, solubility of Cr and Mo compared to Fe. Measured FAC rate was compared with Ducreaux's relationship and showed slightly lower FAC rate than Ducreaux's relationship.

네일 샵의 서비스 품질 요인에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of Service Quality Factors on the Nailcare Shop)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the service quality evaluation on the skill and expert, the shop facilities and atmosphere, the time and access, and the price and benefit of a nail care shop by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care. The survey was performed with questionnaires and the subjects were was 240 consumers who used the nail care. The data were analyzed by frequencies, F-test, T-test, Factor Analysis, one way ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows: Service quality evaluation were classified four factors- the price and benefits, the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, the time and access. There were no statistically significant differences in the price and benefits by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care, but there were statistically significant differences in the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, and the time and access. The service quality on the time and access was evaluated as high by the consumer in the 30s, with more income, and with high appearance and nail care spendings. The service quality on the shop facilities and atmosphere was evaluated as high by the consumers with high nail care spending. The consumers with a regular nail care evaluated the service quality on the skill and expertness, the time and access, the shop facilities and atmosphere as high.
