병원마케팅이 치과 의료기관 선택에 미치는 영향 : 의료소비자 만족도를 중심으로 (The influence of selecting dental hospital by hospital marketing : Focus on patient satisfaction)

  • This study is about the basis of satisfactions by patients : One is 'what factors of the marketing by dental medical service have an effect on consumers dental clinic' The other is 'what is the most important part when consumers choose the dental medical ser Seoul and Gyeonggi area unintentionally. Finally 446 people were analyzed. 6 general questions, 5 selective form questions when consumers choose the dental service, 11 satisfactions questions after treating and thought of reuse the dental service 6 (Likert scale) questions. Whether the choice of hospital dental marketing by dental analysis, both male and female hospital medical marketing and use of selected highly suggests that it does not respond. The resulting satisfaction analysis using the Hospital Dental Marketing consumer access to medical care, and then, a full explanation, comfort, quality and level, health care costs, treatment management, and symptom improvement were higher satisfaction with the item, select the dental healthcare after the analysis of the marketing of recycled doctors are otherwise subject the person selected from all entries equal to or higher than the average consumer satisfaction showed a higher medical doctor also higher reuse. Consequently, Through the use of marketing to choose the best dental healthcare need to providing quality care.

헬스 리터러시 측정을 위한 공공기관 건강정보의 활용 가능성 탐색 (Exploring the Possibility of Using Public Institution's Health Message for Measuring Health Literacy)

  • Objectives: Improving public capability to obtain, understand, and use health information is important for decision-making and communication. This study attempts to measure adults' literacy of the information provided by a public health institution. Factors affecting different health literacy level are also investigated. The relation between public risk perception and health literacy is examined as well. Methods: A total of 800 korean adults were surveyed. To provide the participants health literacy questions, health messages of heavy metals released by KFDA as well as literacy questions developed by NIKL were used. A total of eight questions were developed to measure health literacy. The dimensions of risk perception proposed by Brewer et al.(2008) were modified to measure risk perception. Results: The average percentage of correct answer for all literacy questions was only 65.57%. Individuals at the older age, and with lower education/ income level were more likely to be low literate. In addition, health literacy was strongly associated with risk perception. Conclusions: Public literacy of health information is influenced by socio demographic factors. This study suggested a possibility that low health literacy may affect unrealistically high risk perception. Further studies with sophisticated methodologies to measure health literacy need to be developed.

치과보철치료의 기능적 만족도와 심리·심미적 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing factors on functional, psychological, and aesthetic satisfaction in dental prosthetic treatment)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality improvement of dental prosthetic treatment and better dental service for the patients. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 320 users of dental prosthesis in Seoul and metropolitan area from April to June, The questionnaire consisted of 4 questions of general characteristics, 5 questions of dental prosthesis treatment, 5 questions of functional satisfaction, and 6 questions of psychological and aesthetic satisfaction by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha was o.691 in functional satisfaction and 0.716 in psychological and aesthetic satisfaction. Except 18 incomplete answers, 302 data were analyzed. Results: The functional satisfaction mean was $3.70{\pm}0.51$ and that of psychological aesthetic satisfaction was $3.60{\pm}0.48$. Monthly income was the most important influencing factor on full and partial prosthesis use. Conclusions: In order to improve the satisfaction level in dental prosthetic treatment, the insurance coverage for the dental prosthetic treatment is necessary. The palliative supportive measure for the prosthesis is also required.

약학대학 실기시험 문항개발에 대한 제언 (Proposal of Pharmacy School Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Contents and Test Methods)

  • Competencies of entry-level pharmacists are evaluated by multiple-choice questions (MCQ) examination and objective structured clinical examination (OSCE). OSCE helps to evaluate student's communication skills and attitudes, which are difficult to evaluate by the MCQ exam. In Korea, pharmacy OSCE is not implemented; however, the needs of OSCE is growing. This study proposed OSCE exam contents and exam methods that can be implemented in colleges of pharmacy. Further study is needed to develop OSCE scenarios and questions, validate examination questions and evaluation methods by performing a pilot study, and provide feedback on the curriculum and study methods.

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 수학교과서에서의 발문을 분석하고 초등 수학에서 창의성의 의미와 창의성 신장을 위한 효과적인 발문의 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구를 위하여 창의성의 정의를 고찰하고 2007개정 교육과정에 의한 한국의 3학년 1학기 수학교과서에서의 발문 분석을 통하여 창의성 신장을 위한 효과적인 발문의 성격을 고찰해 보았다. 초등학생들의 수학 수업에서 창의성 신장을 위해서는 제시하는 과제의 성격뿐만 아니라 실제 수업에서 교사의 학생의 수준에 맞는 적절한 발문이 필수적임을 제안하였다.

Study on the Awareness and Demands of Korean University Students Majoring in Physical Therapy: Focus on Women's Health Physical Therapy

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the awareness and demands for Women's Health Physical Therapy (WHPT) of university students majoring in physical therapy. METHODS: From September to October 2020, questionnaire surveys were distributed to students majoring in physical therapy using a convenience sampling method. Data were collected via an internet form from 300 students in eight universities. The survey consisted of three parts consisting of five general characteristics, four questions for awareness, and five questions for the demands. The numerical values for the questions were calculated using a Likert-type scale and descriptive statistics. An independent T-test, ANOVA, and Dunnett T3 test were performed, and the significance level was .05. RESULTS: The demands (3.88) level of the WHPT was higher than the awareness (2.32). The awareness was similar in both genders (p > .05), but there was a significant difference in the demand between genders (p < .05). Female students knew better and had more demands of WHPT than male students. Similarly, a difference in the awareness level by grade was found. The 4th grade had the highest awareness comparing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, but there was no significant difference in awareness and demand according to clinical practice (p > .05). CONCLUSION: The students have high demands compared to awareness, suggesting that the university and association need to prepare diverse and deeper education on WHPT.

Effect of nutrition education received by teachers on primary school students' nutrition knowledge

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to assess the effect of nutrition education received by fourth- and fifth-grade teachers in state schools in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus, on their students. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The aim of this study is to assess the effect of nutrition education received by fourth- and fifth-grade teachers (n = 27) in state schools in Famagusta on their students. Participants (n = 718) were selected through a regional pilot scheme. The teachers were instructed on nutrition by the researcher and provided with a researcher-prepared nutrition education book "I Am Learning about Healthy Nutrition". Before receiving their nutrition education, the teachers were pretested to assess their baseline nutrition knowledge. Following receipt of their nutrition education, a posttest, which included the same questions as those in the pretest, was administered to the teachers to assess the effectiveness of the training session. Similarly, students were asked pretest researcher-prepared questions to evaluate their baseline nutrition knowledge level. The teachers were then given a period of three to four weeks to instruct the students in nutrition education. Following this instructional period, a posttest that included the same questions as those in the pretest was administered to the students. RESULTS: The results showed that there were significant differences between the pre- and posttest scores of both teachers and students; in both groups, the nutrition knowledge level increased (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: These results show that the provision of nutrition education training to teachers positively affected the nutrition knowledge level of both teachers and students.

CIPP모형을 활용한 R&D과제기획 선정평가 도구 개발 연구 : K연구원 중심으로 (A Study on R&D Project Planning Selection Evaluation Indicators based on CIPP model)

  • 본 연구는 K연구원의 상향식 R&D과제기획 차원의 신규 연구기획과제 선정평가를 위한 평가도구 개발에 목적을 두고 진행하였다. 이를 위해 CIPP모형과 연구기획평가를 위한 선정평가 및 평가지표에 관한 선행연구를 중심으로 R&D과제기획 선정평가 항목과 문항을 개발 한 후, 2회에 걸친 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 개발된 평가도구는 13명의 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 내용타당도, 합의도 및 수렴도를 검증하였다. 최종 선정된 R&D과제기획 선정평가 도구는 8개 항목에 총 21개 문항으로, 상황평가 5 문항, 투입평가 2문항, 과정평가 8문항, 산출평가 6문항으로 구성되었다. 개발된 평가 도구는 상향식 기획 과정상의 문제점을 해소하고 연구자들의 기획역량을 제고하는 데 기여할 것이다. 또한, 선정평가 시 평가에 대한 일관성과 효율성 제고에 기여할 것이다.

치과위생사의 노후 준비 (Preparation for old age of dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the need for the preparation of old age of dental hygienists and happy life. Methods: This study is a descriptive study. A self-reported questionnaire in Likert 5 scale was completed by the dental hygienists in Korea through online report or written report from December, 2012 to June, 2013. Except incomplete answers, 200 data were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of 10 questions of preparation for old age and awareness for old ages, 9 questions of physical preparation, and 9 questions of emotional preparation. Cronbach's alpha of old age preparation and awareness of old age was 0.634 in the study. Cronbach's alpha was 0.709 and 0.757 in physical preparation and emotional preparation, respectively. The final analyses of 200 copies were conducted using SPSS 11.5 software for Windows(SPSS Inc., Chicago, lllinois, USA). Results: Awareness toward preparation for old age of dental hygienists was 3.72 points, physical preparation was 2.94 points, and emotional preparation was 2.91 points. Awareness toward preparation for old age of dental hygienists showed the relationship between birth date, marital status, education level, and subjective health condition. Physical preparation was closely related to birth date, marital status, education level, and the workplace. Emotional preparation was closely related to birth date, marital status, education level, and the workplace. Conclusions: This study suggested that preparation for old age of dental hygienists was very important and the preparation must be connected with the social welfare policy.

수원지역 초등학교 고학년 아동의 급식 위생지식과 수행수준의 평가 (Evaluation of Food Hygiene Knowledge and Health Practice for Elementary School Students in Suwon)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine food hygiene knowledge and health practice levels of elementary school students at foodservice in the Suwon area. Of the 500 upper graders from three elementary schools, 486 students (97.2%) participated in the study. The questionnaire was composed of general characteristics including experience of serving food at school, food hygiene knowledge (25 questions), and health practice (18 questions). The results were as follows: The education experiences of food hygiene were below 40% though most students (88.1%) participated in providing food at foodservice. The percentage of correct answers in food hygiene knowledge was over 70% in most questions, but relatively lower in food preservation temperature (44.7%) and food poisoning bacteria (43.2%). When we examined food hygiene behavior of elementary school students in 5scales, the level of personal hygiene management was 4.04, sanitary management in food product was 3.62, environmental hygiene was 3.92, and foodborn disease and food microorganism was 3.81. Each level in each subarea was significantly related in the frequency of hygiene education experiences. Finally, the food hygiene knowledge was positively correlated with its behavior level in elementary school foodservice. These results suggested that the knowledge of food hygiene may affect its behavior, and therefore, regular education of food hygiene at home and school would be needed to improve food safety in foodservice.
