  • 인터넷에 이동성을 부여하기 위한 기술은 호스트 이동성을 넘어 네트워크 전체에 이동성을 부여하는 이동 네트워크 기술로 접어들고 있다. 네트워크 이동성은 Mobile IP 기술을 확장한 MR­HA 간 bidirectional 터널을 통해 지원될 수 있다. 그러나 다수의 이동네트워크가 중첩될 경우 각 네트워크의 MR­HA 터널이 중복되는 dog­leg routing 문제가 발생하게 되고, 이것은 결국 심각한 패킷 전송 지연과 네트워크 트래픽 증가, 불 필요한 시그널 메시지 증가라는 문제를 발생시키게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Mobile IPv6 기반의 이동 네트워크에서 계층적 알고리즘을 적용하여 경로최적화를 하는 프로토콜의 설계에 대해 논하고자 한다. 계층적 접근방안은 중첩된 이동네트워크 구조와 잘 부합되며, 기존의 Mobile IPv6 기술을 사용하여 쉽게 구현될 수 있다.

  • A non-equilibrium powder metallurgy processing such as an MA/SPS (Mechanical Alloying / Spark Plasma Sintering) process is examined in a Ti-48moll%Al. TiAl intermetallic compound is a potential light-weight/high-temperature structural material. One of the major problems, however, limiting the practical use of the material is its poor workability. From this point, the powder metallurgy (PM) processing route has been attractive alternative of the conventional processing for such material The MA/SPS process is able to apply to a LIGA process. Optimization of the pseudo-superplasticity enables to fabricate micro-parts made of fine grained ceramics composites of TiAl by the LIGA process.

  • Frame structures have been traditionally represented as an assembling of components, these last described within the beam theory framework. In the case of frames involving complex components in which classical beam theory could fail, 3D descriptions seem the only valid route for performing accurate enough analyses. In this work we propose a framework for frame structure analyses that proceeds by assembling the condensed parametric rigidity matrices associated with the elementary beams composing the beams involved in the frame structure. This approach allows a macroscopic analysis in which only the condensed degrees of freedom at the elementary beams interfaces are considered, while fine 3D parametric descriptions are retained for local analyses.

  • 인터넷 프로토콜의 이동성 지원(Mobile IP)은 단말의 이동성(host mobility)뿐만 아니라 네트워크의 이동성(network mobility)까지도 지원하도록 확장되고 있다. 그러나 이동 네트워크(mobile network)의 내부에 이동 단말(mobile host) 또는 이동 네트워크가 존재하는 경우와 칼이 중첩된 이동 네트워크(nested mobile network)의 경우 데이터가 전송되는 경로가 삼각형 또는 그 이상으로 복잡해지는 Triangular Routing 또는 Pinball Routing 문제가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 대응 단말(Correspondent node) 또는 Home Agent에서 위치 정보가 갱신(Binding Update)되는 과정을 재귀적으로 수행하게 함으로써 중첩된 이동 네트워크에서 최적의 경로로 데이터를 전달할 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문은 Proxy Mobile IPv6 환경에서 모바일 노드의 통신이 경로 최적화 기법을 적용한 상태에서 다른 MAG로의 이동성을 보장하는 경로 최적화 기법에 대해 연구하였다. Proxy Mobile IPv6 환경에서 삼각 라우팅 문제를 해결하기 위해 경로 최적화를 수행할 때 빠른 처리 속도와 안정성을 가지는 방법을 이동성과 함께 보장하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 경로 최적화 기법 중 Liebsch의 기법과 Dutta의 기법들의 문제점인 높은 시그널링 비용이나 이중 소비가 발생하는 비효율적인 측면이 있다. 본 논문에서는 적은 시그널링 비용으로 Local Mobility Anchor와 Mobile Access Gateway로부터 메시지를 받을 경우 모바일 노드의 다른 MAG 간 이동성을 보장하는 경로 최적화 기법에 대해 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문은 캐쉬 정보를 활용하여 Proxy Mobile IPv6 환경에서 삼각 라우팅 문제를 해결하기 위해 경로 최적화를 수행할 때 빠른 처리 속도와 안정성을 가지는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 기존의 경로 최적화 방법 중 Liebsch의 방법은 모든 경우를 확인하기에 어떤 상황에서도 동일한 시그널링 코스트가 사용되지만 경로 최적화를 위한 프록시 바인딩의 시그널링 코스트가 많고, Dutta의 방법은 경로 최적화를 위한 프록시 바인딩의 시그널링 코스트는 효과적으로 감소시켰으나 Mobile Access Gateway 사이의 프록시 바인딩 과정이 없음으로 인하여 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 간과하였다. 본 논문에서는 시그널링 비용은 증가시키지 않으면서 Local Mobility Anchor와 Mobile Access Gateway로부터 메시지를 받을 경우 응답 메시지를 전송하여 신뢰성을 향상시킨 경로 최적화 방법을 캐쉬 정보를 활용하는 방안에 관하여 연구하였다.

Prediction of ship power based on variation in deep feed-forward neural network

  • Fuel oil consumption (FOC) must be minimized to determine the economic route of a ship; hence, the ship power must be predicted prior to route planning. For this purpose, a numerical method using test results of a model has been widely used. However, predicting ship power using this method is challenging owing to the uncertainty of the model test. An onboard test should be conducted to solve this problem; however, it requires considerable resources and time. Therefore, in this study, a deep feed-forward neural network (DFN) is used to predict ship power using deep learning methods that involve data pattern recognition. To use data in the DFN, the input data and a label (output of prediction) should be configured. In this study, the input data are configured using ocean environmental data (wave height, wave period, wave direction, wind speed, wind direction, and sea surface temperature) and the ship's operational data (draft, speed, and heading). The ship power is selected as the label. In addition, various treatments have been used to improve the prediction accuracy. First, ocean environmental data related to wind and waves are preprocessed using values relative to the ship's velocity. Second, the structure of the DFN is changed based on the characteristics of the input data. Third, the prediction accuracy is analyzed using a combination comprising five hyperparameters (number of hidden layers, number of hidden nodes, learning rate, dropout, and gradient optimizer). Finally, k-means clustering is performed to analyze the effect of the sea state and ship operational status by categorizing it into several models. The performances of various prediction models are compared and analyzed using the DFN in this study.

  • As the traffic grows rapidly in the Internet, the QoS guarantee of the flows and the traffic engineering problems have become very important issues. MPLS has more advantages to solve the problems than existing IP routing because of its use of multiple paths between the source and destination pairs Particularly, the availability of Constraint-based Shortest Path First(CSPF) algorithm and explicit route in MPLS made the problem referred above to be solved efficiently. However, the CSPF algorithm has the characteristic of selecting the shortest path of all paths which meet the traffics' QoS constraints Therefore, even though there are alternative paths to route traffic, alternate QoS paths may not be found and best-effort traffic will be dropped during congestion period In this paper, we present the network resource optimization method related to the traffic engineering by using load balancing through routing in MPLS network.

  • The inventory location is the mos important factor which decide the efficiency of picking orders. According to the inventory location, it is possible to optimize the route for picking order, and then it makes us to expect the cost reduction and efficiency improvement. However, it is practical situation to make decisions where to keep the products based on manager's intuition and experience, not based on the systematical or analytical approach. In this research, with the practical order data of cropper product and layout for the storage yard, the association rules have found, and then the new methodology has been devised to make the decision where to keep the inventory. By utilizing the practical order data for a year, it has been proved that the proposed approach can reduce the total distance of the all routes for picking order and solve the problem of delayed delivery.

  • A design method of fuzzy modeling is presented for the model identification of route choice of traffic problems.The proposed fuzzy modeling implements system structure and parameter identification in the eficient form of""IF..., THEN-.."", using the theories of optimization theory, linguistic fuzzy implication rules. Three kinds ofmethod for fuzzy modeling presented in this paper include simplified inference (type I), linear inference (type 21,and proposed modified-linear inference (type 3). The fuzzy inference method are utilized to develop the routechoice model in terms of accurate estimation and precise description of human travel behavior. In order to identifypremise structure and parameter of fuzzy implication rules, improved complex method is used and the least squaremethod is utilized for the identification of optimum consequence parameters. Data for route choice of trafficproblems are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed fuzzy modeling. The results show that the proposedmethod can produce the fuzzy model with higher accuracy than previous other studies -BL(binary logic) model,B(production system) model, FL(fuzzy logic) model, NN(neura1 network) model, and FNNs (fuzzy-neuralnetworks) model -.fuzzy-neural networks) model -.
