Plato and Aristotle examined what the true spirit of physical education is and what kind of relationship it is, from the perspective of dividing into two parts of the body and mind. And the relationship between human body and mind, knowledge and behavior. Plato and Aristotle examined the harmonious combination of body and mind and what is the desirable relationship setting. In Plato's soul and body in philosophical centered ideological aspect, human education center emphasizes poetry education, but physical education is recognized as essential education for human education. Plato's body contour emphasizes the harmony of soul and body, not the superiority of the body to the mind. In Plato's education room, physical education should be preceded and then mental education should be done. I thought that there could be no independent souls without bodies. It is not an independent entity but a unified entity. Because there is a body, there is a soul. There is a soul, so a body exists. Aristotle thought that the body was more important than Plato, and that the body should be preceded by the soul.

In Korea tumors occurred frequently, and the tumor medicine used to treat them developed. Because tumors due to Koreans' physical constitution and environment and there has always been an impeding need for a cure, traces of such efforts can be found throughout Korean medical history. During the mid-Chosun dynasty, the government founded a government office that specialized in curing tumors. This study observes the establishment and operation of this institution.

Uibanyuchwi, published in 1477, includes the contents of many lost ancient Korean and Chinese medicine documents. Through studying Uibanyuchwi, the ancient Korean pediatry medical document Bodongbiyo could be restored. Bodongbiyo was Korea's representative medical document of the pediatry field that was used until early Chosun dynasty. It was influenced by China's Big medical text, Taepyungseonghaebang and many mineral and animal medical stuffs are listed there. This was influenced by its contemporary factors.

The term Moja(毛子) is the name of Jilson(質孫), the traditional costume of Mongolian own meaning one colour. Mo generally means woolen or worsted fabric, so most scholars also regarded Moja as the same. This paper studied the kind of fabric of Moja by using the way of studying the cultural exchange between ancient Korea and China. This study showed that Moja is ramie instead of woolen or worsted fabric. It also showed that its name was born the long history of the cultural exchanging process between China and Korea. Moja was written as Musi(木絲) or Mosi(沒絲) at China in early period, and changed to Mosi(毛施) in ancient Korean. It was changed to Chinese Maozi in later period.

Granite is commonly used in the construction of the ancient stone pagodas of Korea. The material has excellent weathering resistance and durability, as well as high compressive strength. Most of the stone-made state-designated architectural heritage of Korea is made of granite. Therefore, the understanding of the structural feasibility of stone-made architectural heritage is crucial. Even though, until now, experimental studies for the reinforced stone have been rarely performed. This study intends to suggest a new methodology for the reinforcement of granite using a threaded titanium bar. Through the experimental study, the flexural behavior of the reinforced granite depending on the reinforcement ratio is investigated. Based on the test results, a moment-displacement relationship for the design of reinforced granite is suggested.

Objective : This study was carried out to clarify the origin of 94 genus for 125 species of herbal woody plants. Methods : The examined herbalogical books and research paper which published at home and abroad. Results : The generic names of 30.85% by ratin ; Ancient Greek and other language, 14.89% by the personal name, 12.77% by the growth characteristics, 8.51% by the shape of fruit and other related shape,, 6.38% by the place names, 5.32% by the colors have been named. Conclusion : According to the investigation which Origin of the Herbal Medicinal woody Plants Genus from Herbalogy textbook, The number of genus names which are originated from ratin ; Ancient Greek and other language by 30.85% was the most of all.

The court dancing suit, so-called "JeongJae(呈才) suit," has been worn by court dancers. Since the court dancing suits in the age of the ancient Three Kingdoms and Koryo Dynasty have already been studied previously, this study discussed the change of dancing suit styles created in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty, such as GaInJeonMok-Dan(佳人剪牧丹)ㆍGoGuRyeo-Mu(高句麗舞)ㆍGongMak-Mu(公莫舞)ㆍManSuMu(萬壽舞), and the thought of Yin-Yang and five elements(陰陽五行思想) that the colors of the court dancing suits imply. The purpose of this study is to understand the thoughts contained in the ancient suits as well as their styles in order to inherit and uphold our traditional culture properly. properly.

This study considered stools not just as a tool for sitting but with their symbolicity as well. Regarding the changes and meanings of general stools and X-stools, this paper studied their images and explanations as well as literatures by quoting as it limited their range from the ancient times till Neo-classicism. In conclusion, the origin of stools exists in consciousness and also the social hierarchy of authority. There still remain the elements of X in any way along with the functions. This proves that furniture has reason for existence even today not just for its functions but something beyond that. Along with the historic flow of X-stools, we should know that there is diversity of thinking in the area of stools. In understanding furniture design or furniture, now is the time to approach to it in various ways, and it is expected that new design can be born through that thinking.
