Current loads acting on offshore vessels are important for predicting the hydrodynamic and structural responses of the vessels. It is also true for analyzing the behavior of moored systems under the action of ocean current. Unfortunately there are few standardized current load coefficients for offshore vessels and it is extremely difficult to be applied to arbitrary hull shapes, if any. Therefore current load coefficients for three hull shapes are calculated in this study using a CFD code, which is well known in the shipbuilding industry. In order to validate the present approach, a typical VLCC is taken as numerical example and resulting current coefficients are compared with experiment together with the OCIMF data. The comparison shows a good agreement in the qualitative sense. Two additional models considered herein are a shuttle tanker and a FPSO under deepwater condition $(WD/T{\geq}6)$. The present numerical approach may be utilized for practical design of offshore vessels.

How can business ecosystems be a source of firm's competitiveness? Is corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an investment activity for building sustainable business ecosystems? The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between CSR, social value, sustainable business ecosystems, and firm's competitiveness by introducing a mediating role of social capital. We conducted in-depth interviews with seven informants from two domestic firms and four oversea firms. Three propositions were drawn by analyzing qualitative data collected from the interviews and literature review. Various activities creating social value including CSR and CSV (Creating Shared Value) are positively associated with sustainable business ecosystems. Firm accumulates social capital of the business ecosystem through creation of social value. Finally, the social capital of business ecosystem has a positive influence on firm's competitiveness. Implications were suggested for academics and practitioners.

This study was to describe the process on experiences of self-leading leisure activities and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in middle-aged office workers. The participants were 12 persons who had participated in self-leading leisure activities. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin. Through analyzing process, 28 concepts, 14 subcategories, and seven categories were deduced. The periods of process were divided four stages, plateau, the phage of recognition in social duties, the phage of strengthen in competency, and the phage of reconstruct in successful lifestyle. The core category, 'disclosing of self-esteem' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. The findings indicate that self-leading leisure activities helped to their own health and developed their social activities. Therefore, we would consider in developing health promotion program about favoring leisure activities factors for the middle age office worker.

Knowledge based fault diagnosis has a limitation in determining the cause and scheme for the fault, because it detects faults from signal pattern only Therefore, model-based fault diagnosis is requested to determine the fault by analyzing output of the equipment from its dynamic model. This research shows a method how to devise the automaton of system as a model for normal and faulty condition through the reduction of handling data by quantization of vibration signals and the example which is concerning to the bearing of ATM. The developed model based fault diagnosis was applied to detect the faulty bearing of ATM, which results.

The purpose of this study was to obtain a deeper understanding of didactic processing in the class that unified with engineering by analyzing on the types of the teacher's instumental orchestration and schematizing it as an activity system. In order to do so, a qualitative study of a 5th grade class for math-gifted students in Y elementary school with ethnography was conducted. Interviews with the students were held and various document data were collected during the participational observation of the class. The collected qualitative data were gone through the analytical induction while the instrumental orchestration of Drijvers, Boon, Doorman, Reed, & Gravemeijer as well as the secondgeneration activity theory of Engestrom were using as the frame of conceptional reference. According to the result of this study, there exist 4 types, such as 'technical demo' 'link screen board', 'detection-exploring small group' and 'explain the screen and technical demo'.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide foundational knowledge on nursing tasks performed on patients with COVID-19 in a nationally-designated inpatient treatment unit. Methods: This study employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative method investigated the content and frequency of nursing tasks for 460 patients (age ≥ 18 y, 57.4% men) from January 20, 2020, to September 30, 2021, by analyzing hospital information system records. Qualitative data were collected via focus group interviews. The study involved interviews with three focus groups comprising 18 nurses overall to assess their experiences and perspectives on nursing care during the pandemic from February 3, 2022, to February 15, 2022. The data were examined with thematic analysis. Results: Overall, 49 different areas of nursing tasks (n = 130,687) were identified based on the Korean Patient Classification System for nurses during the study period. Among the performed tasks, monitoring of oxygen saturation and measuring of vital signs were considered high-priority. From the focus group interview, three main themes and eleven sub-themes were generated. The three main themes are "Experiencing eventfulness in isolated settings," "All-around player," and "Reflections for solutions." Conclusion: During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is imperative to ensure adequate staffing levels, compensation, and educational support for nurses. The study further propose improving guidelines for emerging infectious diseases and patient classification systems to improve the overall quality of patient care.

This study developed a prediction model using machine learning technology and predicted the success of health consulting by using life log data generated through u-Health service. The model index of the Random Forest model was the highest using. As a result of analyzing the Random Forest model, blood pressure was the most influential factor in the success or failure of metabolic syndrome in the subjects of u-Health service, followed by triglycerides, body weight, blood sugar, high cholesterol, and medication appear. muscular, basal metabolic rate and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol were increased; waist circumference, Blood sugar and triglyceride were decreased. Further, biometrics and health behavior improved. After nine months of u-health services, the number of subjects with four or more factors for metabolic syndrome decreased by 28.6%; 3.7% of regular drinkers stopped drinking; 23.2% of subjects who rarely exercised began to exercise twice a week or more; and 20.0% of smokers stopped smoking. If the predictive model developed in this study is linked with CBR, it can be used as case study data of CBR with high probability of success in the prediction model to improve the compliance of the subject and to improve the qualitative effect of counseling for the improvement of the metabolic syndrome.

As business environment has become more competitive, the R&D strategies of firms have been regarded more important. Patent has information about technology which affects a firm's profit and it is considered as resources which have provided appropriate data for research of innovations and trends in technology. And patent indicators are known as qualitative representation of technology quality in an objective view. Also, they are available for the continuous and systematic analysis. However, most previous studies have focused on developing patent indicators to investigate patent value and characteristics. Furthermore they have limitations that most results is not significant that patent indicators have effect on firm performance-Tobin's q, Intangible assets based on balance sheet, sales and etc. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to propose proper a factor to represent a firm performance and to analyze causal relationship between patent indicators and firm performance. Intangible assets based on market value are employed as one of most significant firm performance indicator. The results indicate that intangible assets are appropriate for analyzing causal relation between patent and a firm performance with 7 significant indicators among 10 patent indicators. Considering firm's exogenous factors, regression analysis of each data for five years is performed. This result is similar to regression analysis of full data for all years.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to describe the decision making of nurses in a VIP ward. Method: The methodology of collecting and analyzing the data was based on the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin (1998). The data were collected through an in-depth interview, which were audio-taped and transcribed. The data were collected from 10 nurses from July to November 2007. Results: The core category on VIP ward nurses' decision making was named as "adjusting with flexibility and deepened insight". The causal condition was established by 'the patients who wanted to be treated specially'. The contextual conditions included 'caring patients from various departments', 'differences depending on the nurses' clinical experience', and 'client-centered atmosphere in the VIP ward'. The intervening conditions included 'problem solving styles of nurses', 'attitudes of patients and family members', 'nurse-doctor relationships', and 'accessibility to information'. It was confirmed that nurses changed their action-interaction strategies depending on the intervening conditions, thus resulted in the nurses' role conflict and the need to expand their consciousness. Conclusion: The result of this study indicates that nurse's decision making depends on their experiences and the nature of social context in which nursing occurs.

Purpose: This research explores the development of music business distribution channels to attract potential customers based on the current and prior literature. As a result, the research will provide solutions for practitioners in the music distribution channel how they create effective channel in new industry phase which has experienced significant changes due to technological advancement and consumer behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: To obtain textual data in the literature storage, the author conducted content analysis. Even though there are numerous textual resources, selecting only high-quality text data that is only peer-reviewed journal articles and books consistently indicate a high degree of reliability and validity to keep the advantage form content analysis approach. Results: The present study figured out that there are five strategies to attract potential consumers in the music distribution channel, such as (1) 'Marketing Mix', (2) 'Streaming Platforms and Online Music Stores', (3) 'Brick and Mortar Stores and Concerts, and Events', (4) 'Platforms Exclusives and Limited-Edition Merchandise', and 'Partnerships and collaborations. Conclusions: In sum, the practitioners need to consider include building relationships with the fans, studying and understanding their target market, utilizing multiple available distribution channels, embracing new technologies, and analyzing the effectiveness of the adopted distribution channels.
