This Paper examines analytic studies of the evaluation system used for evaluating government-supported R&D Institutes (GSRIs), and designs a new model for analyzing the evaluation system's effectiveness. The analytic models in existing studies use the meta evaluation and balanced scorecard (BSC) models. However, theses studies focused on the structure and elements of the evaluation system for examples, the appropriateness of the elements within the evaluation system and the balance of the evaluation index. Accordingly, the effectiveness of the GSRI evaluation system, that is, the evaluation's influence on GSRI performance improvement was not analyzed. This study uses the institution theory and contingency theory perspectives as related to government organization management to develop an analytical model of GSRI evaluation system effectiveness. The new model proposes an analytical approach for improving the effectiveness of the GSRI evaluation system in an institutionalized environment.

Although business Intelligence system is introduced to many companies over the past decade, The result of business benefits from BI investment are not so significant than expected. But still successful BI system can provide the ability to analyse business information in order to support and improve management decision making across a broad range of business activities. In recently, Business Analytics System(BA) is emerging as advanced alternative of outdated and inefficient BI System. This study is focus on constructing procedure of BA system in KB card company, which is major credit card company in South Korea. In practice there were just few works that mentioned well-designed environment of KMS system, and other contribution of this study is to make a platform which invoke revelation of collective intelligence in data analytic professional users group.

본 연구는 ANP법을 이용하여 수색구조선의 우선 배치순위를 평가하였다. 이러한 평가를 위해서 본 연구에서는 퍼지추론 및 계층분석법을 이용하여 인명피해, 선박피해, 환경오염피해에 대해 위험성을 평가하였다. 또한 DEA 법 및 리커트 척도법을 이용하여 수색구조선의 정량적, 정성적 운영효율성을 평가하였다. 마지막으로는 위험성 평가와 운영효율성 평가를 ANP법을 이용하여 종합 평가치를 산출하였다. 그 결 과 MP, YS RCC/RSC 구역이 수색구조선의 우선 배치순위가 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다.

This paper deals with the analysis of the PC communication service system performance which will be installed as a gateway between PSTN and PSDN. Firstly, we classify the data traffic pattern into interactive, conversational, and file transfer type from the actual statistics. Secondly, we model the system structure as a closed queueing network model with multiservers and multiple customer classes and derive the analytic method to be able to measure the system performance using Mean Value Analysis. Finally, the simulation results indicate that the analytic method obtained is a good approximation method to measure the system performance of the PC communication service system as a gateway between PSTN and PSDN.

We suggest a Business Performance Information System with Knowledge Discovery in Databases(KDD) as a key component of integrated information and knowledge management system. The proposed system measures business performance by considering both VA(Value-Added), which represents stakeholder's point of view and EVA(Economic Value-Added), which represents shareholder's point of view. In modeling of Business Performance Information System, we apply the following KDD processes : Data Warehouse for consistent management of a performance data, On-Line Analytic Processing(OLAP) for multidimensional analysis, Genetic Algorithms for exploring and finding dominant managing factors and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) for applying expert's knowledge and experience. To demonstrate the performance of the system, we conducted a case study using financial data of Korean automobile industry over 16 years from 1981 to 1996, which is taken from database of KISFAS(Korea Investors Services Financial Analysis System).

본 연구는 확장하연서도 적용하기 어려운 계통인 인천국제공항 배전계통에 대하여 전력공급제한을 포함하는 종합적언 선협도평가를 하였다. 우선, 계통의 선로제약 및 전압강하를 고려한 평가를 하기 위하여 확정론적인 방법과 고장모드-효과분석법에 지반을 푼 PLOC지법을 도입하고, 신뢰도지수를 계산하었다. 또한 계통의 능력을 평가하고, 신뢰도를 개선하기 위하여 ANP를 도입하였다. 이와같은은 결과로 정확한 신뢰도를 계산하교 취약부분을 찾아내고, 계통의 확장계획을 수립하는 것올 가능하게 하였다.

This paper is shown that the impulse and unit step response of second-order system can be computed by the analytic methods using Laplace transform. Also, the transient response specifications are explicitly formulated by the peak undershoot and maximum overshoot of the step response. Three different second-order systems are investigated: prototype system, system with LHP(left half plane) real zero, and system with RHP(right half plane) real zero. Based on these analytic results, this paper presents the sufficient and necessary conditions for the second-order linear SISO(single-input/single-output) stable system to have the nonovershooting or monotone nondecreasing step response.

Although manufacturing cost is a major part of profit in a company, it is difficult to be calculated by an analytic method. Besides, the manufacturing cost gained by simple financial structure dose not have an important meaning in market place. Therefore, an analytic method of computing the manufacturing cost is very necessary in manufacturing system. In this study, we suggested the direct cost analysis model which are able to measure accurate cost analysis of product in manufacturing system. The direct cost analysis model is made up of directly used expenditure for unit product. Also, system performances are put in the manufacturing cost analysis model so that it could be possible to analyze the change of manufacturing cost as system performances change. At the end of this paper, it verifies its relevancy and practicality of the suggested direct cost analysis model through the case study, using real data for direct labor cost.

In this paper, we propose a data envelopment analysis (DEA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) integrated model to improve the selection process in the acquisition of a weapon system which is the key component to the success of the project. In particular, we applied DEA in the first stage to choose a frontier group among the candidates in the selection process of the next-generation fighter system (the 3rd FX) in Korea. Then, by using the Delphi technique, we surveyed military experts and applied AHP to determine the best choice among the candidates. The results of the study match the actual decision made by the Korean government in the weapon system acquisition. The results of the proposed DEA-AHP integrated method in the selection of the next-generation fighter systems in Korea demonstrate the usefulness of the method. In this paper, we also discuss the future implications of the proposed model.
