CO2형 폐주물사를 콘크리트용 잔골재로 재활용하기 위한 연구 (A Study for Recycling CO2 Silicate Bonded Waste Foundry Sand as Fine Aggregate for Concrete)

  • 우리나라의 주물공장에서 발생되는 폐주물사는 연간 80만 톤 정도로서 90 %이상이 매립되고 있으므로 토양 덴 지하수 오염 문제로 인한 피해가 우려된다. 또한, 폐기물관리법이 크게 강화됨으로써 폐주물사의 재활용 방안에 대한 대책 수립이 절실히 요망된다. 본 연구에서는 폐주물사를 콘크리트용 잔골재로 재활용하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 폐주물사의 품질 및 폐주물사를 대체한 모르타르 및 콘크리트의 물성에 관한 실험결과에 대하여 고찰하였다. 폐주물사의 비중은 천연골재와 비슷하였으나, 단위용적 중량 및 실적률은 작았으며, 흡수율이 다소 큰 문제점이 있었다. 폐주물사의 입도는 천연골재로서 적정비율로 대체, 유해원소 및 유기불순물은 세척처리 함으로써 콘크리트용 잔골재로 사용 가능하였다. 폐주물사 대체 모르타르의 유동성은 보통모르타르와 비교하여 약간 떨어졌으나, 압축강도는 대체율 20 %에서 크게 나타났다. 한편, 폐주물사 대체 콘크리트의 응결시간은 보통콘크리트보다 약간 빨랐으나, 블리딩률은 오히려 작았으며, 슬럼프 손실률이 다소 큰 문제점은 있었다. 그러나 폐주물사를 30 % 대체한 콘크리트의 압축, 인장강도 및 탄성계수는 재령에 관계없이 좋은 결과를 나타내었다.

강도수준별 순환골재 콘크리트의 염화물 확산특성 (Chloride Diffusivity of Concrete using Recycled Aggregate by Strength Levels)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서 생산되고 있는 콘크리트용 순환 굵은골재를 사용하여 콘크리트의 압축강도 수준(20, 35, 50 MPa)에 따라 순환 굵은골재의 혼입률 변화가 콘크리트의 염화물 확산특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실험결과 순환 굵은 골재의 치환율 변화에 따른 유동성(슬럼프)은 순환골재를 혼입하지 않은 경우에 비해 동등하거나 양호한 유동성을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 영향은 국내에서 생산되는 순환골재의 양호한 입형이 유동성 개선에 기여한 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 순환 ?은 골재의 치환율 변화에 따른 압축강도는 순환골재 혼입률이 증가할수록 약 9~10% 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 염화물 확산계수는 순환골재 혼입률이 증가함에 따라 최대 144%까지 증가하는 결과를 나타냈으며 낮은 강도 수준의 콘크리트 일수록 순환골재 활용에 따른 내염성 저하 정도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 강도가 증가할수록 순환골재 혼입에 따른 영향은 감소되어, 고강도 영역에서는 일반 콘크리트와 유사한 염화물 확산 특성을 발현하는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 순환골재를 콘크리트용 재료로 대량 활용하기 위해서는 콘크리트의 내염성 개선을 위한 혼화재료의 적용 또는 배합설계상 조정을 통한 강도의 개선 등이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Diff-Sew는 개별적으로 구분된 다른 트레픽에 대해서 다른 종류의 네트워크 서비스를 제공하기 위한 메카니즘이며 이용자들에게 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법을 제시하고 있다. DS는 토큰 버켓 방법을 사용하여 고정된 호스트들에게 제공되기 때문에 이동성을 가지는 서비스나 개별적인 트레픽에 대한 차등적인 서비스를 제공할 방안이 존재하지 않는다 본 논문에서는 트래픽컨테이너(TC)를 위해서 WFQ 방법과 변방 노드들과 경계 라우터들 내부에서 제어가 가능한 AggF(Aggregate Flow)를 모니터링하여 스케쥴링하는 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 트래픽 비율(traffic rate)을 유동적으로 제어가 가능하며 대역폭의 효율적인 이용성을 제공하고 있다.

  • Tailing Material (TM) and Fly Ash (FA) are obtained as waste products from the mining and thermal industries. Studies were carried out to explore the possibility of utilizing TM as a part replacement to fine aggregate and FA as a part replacement to cement, in concrete mixes. The effect of replacing fine aggregate by TM and cement by FA on the standard sized specimen for compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strengths are evaluated in this study. The concrete mix of M40 grade was adopted with water cement ratio equal to 0.40. Concrete mix with 35% TM and 65% natural sand (TM35/S65) has shown superior performance in strength as against (TM0/S100, TM30/S70, TM40/S60, TM50/S50, and TM60/S40). For this composition, studies were performed to propose the optimal replacement of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) by FA (Replacement levels studied were 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%). Replacement level of 20% OPC by FA, has shown about 0-5% more compressive strength as against the control mix, for both 28 day and 56 days of water curing. Interestingly results of split tensile and flexural strengths for 20% OPC replaced by FA, have shown strengths equal to that of no replacement (control mix).

Combined effect of lightweight fine aggregate and micro rubber ash on the properties of cement mortar

  • Exterior walls in buildings are exposed to various forms of thermal loads, which depend on the positions of walls. Therefore, one of the efficient methods for improving the energy competence of buildings is improving the thermal properties of insulation plaster mortar. In this study, lightweight fine aggregate (LWFA) and micro rubber ash (MRA) from recycled tires were used as partial replacements for sand. The flow ability, unit weight, compressive strength, tensile strength, thermal conductivity (K-value), drying shrinkage and microstructure scan of lightweight rubberized mortar (LWRM) were investigated. Ten mixtures of LWRM were prepared as follows: traditional cement mortar (control mixture); three mixes with different percentages of LWFA (25%, 50% and 75%); three mixes with different percentages of MRA (2.5%, 5% and 7.5%); and three mixes consisting both types with determined ratios (25% LWFA+5% MRA, 50% LWFA+5% MRA and 75% LWFA+5% MRA). The flow ability of the mortars was 22±2 cm, and LWRM contained LWFA and MRA. The compressive and tensile strength decreased by approximately 64% and 57%, respectively, when 75% LWFA was used compared with those when the control mix was used. The compressive and tensile strength decreased when 5% MRA was used. By contrast, mixes with determined ratios of LWFA and MRA affected reduced unit weight, K-value and dry shrinkage.

DR 기반의 건물 공조 부하관리 알고리즘 (Building AHU Load Control Algorithm based on Demand Response)

  • This paper presents an advanced energy saving algorithm in building. It is important to aggregate a various demand side resource which is controllable on demand response environment. Previous demand side algorithm for building is restricted on peak power. In this paper, we suggest duty cycle algorithm for AHU on demand response to reduce the quantity of building power consumption. The test results show that the proposed algorithm is very effective.

  • This paper presents an advanced energy saving algorithm in building. It is important to aggregate a various demand side resource which is surely controllable at the peak power time to reduce the energy cost. Previous demand side algorithm appropriate for building is based on peak power. In this paper, we develop the new energy saving algorithm to reduce the quantity of power consumption. The simulation results show that the proposed tem is very effective.

  • Pullout test known as Lok test among the test methods to evaluate concrete strength strength is a test method which is used to decide the form removal time by assessing the early strength of concrete in a new construction, or to control the quality of newly placed concrete. This method has inconvenience to place inserts on the form work in advance, however, the placing work is quite simple and it has advantage that the strength can be measured at field as long as the inserts are placed. In this study, the first step is to investigate the properties of test method itself, by performing the laboratory test which covers deviation of the method and factors affecting the results, etc. The second step is to correlate the result with cylinder strength and other NDT methods such as rebound hammer, ultrasonic method, etc. And that, the results are compared with foreign results to find the differences between the two. In this research, new factors such as moisture content, area of aggregate failure cross section and area of aggregate separation cross section, etc as well as wate-cement ratio and age are investigated.

  • This study is an experimental research for the dispersion behavior and impact characteristics of debris flow according to change of slope. Large scale experimental setup for the debris flow was established to simulate the artificial rainfall and control the ground slope. Parameters such as materials of debris flow, slope, and length of slope were used for the experiments. After the experiments, it was found that the speed of ground material components was increased about 28~47%. It was found that speed can be increased by increasing the particle size. Furthermore, maximum/final loads for ground material components were increased 89% for the coarse aggregate and 68% for the fine aggregate comparing with sand.

남강댐하류의 물리적 하천교란 평가 (Assessment of Physical River Disturbances in the Namgang-dam Downstream)

  • To assessment the disturbances of the Namgang caused by dam construction, upstream area was selected for the reference reach and downstream area was selected for the comparison reach. And these reaches were surveyed and analyzed according to the assessment criteria of the river disturbances.The artificial factors of river disturbances were classified as river improvement works, dam construction and aggregate dredging. The indexes were physical factors as like epifaunal (bottom), embeddedness, velocity/depth regime, sediment deposition, channel flow status, channel alteration, frequency of riffles, bank stability, vegetative protection, riparian zone etc.The assessment results showed 46% of the assessment criteria which was serious status in dam downstream area and 89.5% of it which was excellent status in dam upstream.Finally, the results showed that physical river environment in downstream area was disturbed by the discharge control and the interception of sediment discharge by dam, consequently this disturbance give rise to impact of ecosystem in river.
