  • One hundred and eighty two lactic acid bacteria, isolated mainly from kimchi, including reference strains were examined for their ability to utilize 95 carbon sources. The test strains were assigned to 5 major, 1 minor and 12 single-membered clusters based on the $S_{SM}$, UPGMA algorithm (at similarity of $80{\%}$). These aggregate clusters were equivalent to the genus Leuconostoc (aggregate cluster M and N), the genus Lactobacillus (aggregate cluster Q and R), and the genera Lactobacillus and Leuconostoc (aggregate cluster O and P) according to the database of the Biolog system. This study demonstrates that rapid identification and classification of isolates originating from kimchi can be achieved on the basis of such carbon source utilization tests.

  • Advancements in deep learning have enhanced vision-based aggregate analysis. However, further development and studies have encountered challenges, particularly in acquiring large-scale datasets. Data collection is costly and time-consuming, posing a significant challenge in acquiring large datasets required for training neural networks. To address this issue, this study introduces a simulation that efficiently generates the necessary data and labels for training neural networks. We utilized a genetic algorithm (GA) to create optimized lists of aggregates based on the specified values of weight and particle size distribution for the aggregate sample. This enabled sample data collection without conducting sieving tests. Our evaluation of the proposed simulation and GA methodology revealed errors of 1.3% and 2.7 g for aggregate size distribution and weight, respectively. Furthermore, we assessed a segmentation model trained with data from the simulation, achieving a promising preliminary F1 score of 78.18 on the actual aggregate image.

  • Two hundreds and thirty lactic acid bacteria, mostly isolated from Kimchi, including type strains were used for analysis of cellular fatty acids. The 230 test strains were recoverd in 7 major and 1 single clusters defined at Euclidian distance of 17.5. These aggregate taxa were equivalent to the genus Leuconostoc (aggregate group A, B, C and D), the genus Lactobacillus (aggregate group F), the genera Lactobacillus and Pediococcus (aggregate group E) and the genera Leuconostoc and Lactobacillus (aggregate group G). It is concluded as evident that FAMEs (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters) profile of cell can be used as a criterion in classification of lactic acid bacteria from kimchi. Additional comparative taxonomic studies need to be carried out on well chosen representative strains to determine the most appropriate methods of value.

  • The production of waste concrete is increased continuously by urban renewal, reconstruction, remodeling, and so on. So the positive use of recycled aggregate concrete is needed. Research for recycled aggregate concrete that use recycled aggregate from the mid-80s to solve environmental problem of aggregate insufficiency and waste concrete is consisting vigorously. However, specifications and mix design about waste concrete's use are evading use of recycled aggregate concrete yet in spot being not taken a triangular position. Therefore. it analyze existing research data for recycled aggregate concrete collection to develop strength estimate program in this research. Recycled aggregate concrete's strength estimate program if specifications and mix design about recycled aggregate concrete are taken a triangular position to foundation recycled aggregate concrete's practical use to increase judge.

  • The problem of imbalance between supply and demand of fine aggregates in the southeastern region due to the decrease in collection of EEZ(Exclusive Economic Zone) sea sand has been raised. In this paper, the possibility of securing alternative aggregate as a means to solve the problem of fine aggregate shortage in the southeast region was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the alternative aggregate is easy to manufacture and its quality can be secured. And, it is suitable to use as an aggregate with less environmental burden. In addition, institutional improvement measures are needed for effective utilization and recycling of alternative aggregates.

  • In this paper. a document is represented as a weighted graph called a text relationship map. In the graph. a node represents a vector of nouns in a sentence, an edge completely connects other nodes. and a weight on the edge is a value of the similarity between two nodes. The similarity is based on the word overlap between the corresponding nodes. The importance of a node. called an aggregate similarity in this paper. is defined as the sum of weights on the links connecting it to other nodes on the map. In this paper. we present a Korean text summarization system using the aggregate similarity. To evaluate our system, we used two test collection, one collection (PAPER-InCon) consists of 100 papers in the field of computer science: the other collection (NEWS) is composed of 105 articles in the newspapers and had built by KOROlC. Under the compression rate of 20%. we achieved the recall of 46.6% (PAPER-InCon) and 30.5% (NEWS) and the precision of 76.9% (PAPER-InCon) and 42.3% (NEWS).

  • In this study, the accuracy of the assembly rate of fine aggregate and the cleavage rate of coarse aggregate was analyzed using the constructed learning data. As a result, it was possible to predict the distribution of assembly rate for fine aggregate through a simple sample collection image, showing an accuracy of 96%. The classification of the aggregates could be confirmed by analyzing the fracture shape of the gravel, showing an accuracy of 97%.

  • With the increase of decrepit facilities, construction waste increased to a certain level and now the increase is more or less stabilized. Yet construction waste still constitutes the largest portion of the overall wastes. Also, it is inevitable to spend a huge amount of the national budget due to the aggravating shortage of aggregate caused by prohibition on collection of natural aggregates as well as due to the damage to the land and environment caused by development of the sources of aggregates. As a countermeasure to the situation, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport promulgated the quality standard for recycled aggregate to manage the usage of recycled aggregate according to its quality. But use of recycled aggregate for the purpose of high added value still remains nominal. Therefore, this research aims to study the applicability of recycled aggregate concrete as structural concrete by evaluating the quality improvement effects and the performance of the recycled aggregate concrete including recycled fine aggregate and recycled coarse aggregate that have undergone carbonation for 4 days and 14 days respectively in the condition of 60% RH, 20% $CO_2$ and $20^{\circ}C$ temperature, suggested for carbonation modifying from the advance research. The result shows carbonation modify contributed to quality improvement with 0.91% decrease in absorption rate for recycled fine aggregate and 0.7% decrease in absorption rate for recycled coarse aggregate. The physical properties and durability of the recycled aggregate made of aggregate modified by carbonation showed results similar to general concrete, which confirmed the possibility of applying the recycled aggregate made of recycled aggregate modified by carbonation to structural concrete.

  • In this paper, we propose aggregate signcryption for achieving data security in UWSNs. The main challenge of these networks established in sensitive environments is offline sink visiting. Moreover, the sensors must retain collected data for long enough time to offload them onto the itinerant sink. Thus, the unattended nature of data collection intervals might offer the adversary the opportunity to apply various attacks without detection. In this paper, employing low order operations (in time and space), we propose a new secure scheme in which various security goals such as confidentiality (through encrypting), authentication and integrity (through signing) are achieved. In addition, the aggregation process of our scheme reduces the space and communication overheads both for sensors and sink, i.e. the proposed technique efficiently enables the sensors and sink to protect, verify and recover all the related data. We further compare our scheme with the best alternative work in the literature.

  • It is expected that the proportion of crushed aggregate will increase in order to fill the decreasing supply of sea sand in the southeast area. However, it is necessary to supply the least amount of sea sand to diversify the aggregate source, in order to minimize the mixing ratio of sea sand and crushed sand to minimize the structural stability of the concrete.
