  • This research employs the intelligent application form agent to help people to locate the information they would want from Internet quickly. Based on Internet GUI environment, this user-friendly online application form program uses the agent concept to provide the customized, individual information to the users who registered their application form answers, to the extent of increasing the interest and participation of users. The system helps along with the decision making process, by quickening the information gathering process.

  • 이동 에이전트는 여러 호스트를 이동하면서 사용자 대신 업무를 수행하는 객체라 할 수 있다. 또한 에이전트간 통신을 통하여 정보를 공유하고 다양한 업무도 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 이동 에이전트를 이용하여 전자 세금 결제 서비스인 e-tax System을 설계하였다. e-government의 tax agent는 홈 네트워크화된 각 가정의 계량기로부터 공과금 내역을 획득하게 된다. 이러한 공과금 내역은 tax agent에서 각 가정의 management agent에 전달되고 management agent는 이러한 공과금을 사용자 대신 납부하게 된다.

  • Firewall is not perfectly prevent hacker, Intrusion Detection System(IDS) is considered a next generation security solution for more trusted network i and system security. We propose a agent IDS model in the different platforms that can detect intrusions in the expanded distributed host environment, since that is a drawback of existing IDS. Then we implement a prototype and verify validity. We use a pattern extraction agent so that we extract audit files needed in intrusion detection automatically even in other platforms.

  • 본 논문은 Multi-agent 이론을 적용하여 저주파수 계전 알고리즘을 설계하는 방법을 제안하였다. 먼저 저주파수 계전에 필요한 사항을 알아보았다. 그 다음으로 현재 계통에 적용된 부하차단을 알아보고 이를 개선할 수 있는 Multi-agent 이론을 적용한 저주파수 계전 방법을 선택하여 그 방법의 적용 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • To enhance the automatic performance of existing predicting and planning algorithms that require a predefined probability of the states' transition, this paper proposes a multiple sequence generation system. When interacting with unknown environments, a virtual agent needs to decide which action or action order can result in a good state and determine the transition probability based on the current state and the action taken. We describe a sequential behavior generation method motivated from the change in the agent's state in order to help the virtual agent learn how to adapt to unknown environments. In a sequence learning process, the sensed states are grouped by a set of proposed motivation filters in order to reduce the learning computation of the large state space. In order to accomplish a goal with a high payoff, the learning agent makes a decision based on the observation of states' transitions. The proposed multiple sequence behaviors generation system increases the complexity and heightens the automatic planning of the virtual agent for interacting with the dynamic unknown environment. This model was tested in a virtual library to elucidate the process of the system.

  • The importance of electronic commerce system has been growing rapidly due to development of information technology and acceleration of enterprise e-business. Electronic commerce system must provide convenient interface, easy and fast searching function, and product information satisfied customer's. A study about the system that used a reasoning technique and an Agent technology for this is required. In this paper, we designs electronic commerce system with customer preference and sales agent which is composed of case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning for high customer satisfaction. Also, we were shown on an appropriateness of a proposal system by an experiment.

  • Jini architecture's Network Plug and Work provides simple and flexible network environment for distributed applications. Through the Jini technology, facilities for dynamically registering and locating mobile agent services can be easily supported, as well as the services useful for activities of mobile agents can be dynamically supported. In this paper, we describe a Jini-based mobile agent system named JMoblet, which provides the basic functions of a mobile agent system such as creation, control, transfer, location and communication among agents. To increase the reliability of the system, it also provides exception handling and persistence of the mobile agent systems for reliability.

  • To develop a ubiquitous system, several researches have been tried to apply multi-agent models to design a system. Even though current multi-agent models provide many benefits with ubiquitous system developments, there are still some deficiencies in completely supporting the characteristics of ubiquitous systems such as dynamic formation and termination of mission-oriented organizations and interrelationship between organizations. In addition, existing agent-based models only concern aboutananalysis and design of a system, then place a burden of implementation on developers. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the high-level abstraction model of a multi-agent based ubiquitous system and the development process concerning implementation as well as design of systems. In addition, we implemented a development toolkit, called as CDTK(Community computing system Development Tool Kit), then developed a small community computing system using the CDTK.
