The integration of coding and mathematics education, known as coding-integrated mathematics education, has received much attention due to the strength of Artificial Intelligence-based Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (AI-based STEAM) education in improving students' affective domain. The present study investigated the effectiveness of coding-integrated mathematics education on students' development of affective mathematics engagement. Participants in this study were 86 middle and high school students who attended the coding-integrated mathematics program. Surveys of students' affective mathematics engagement were administered before and after the intervention period. The results showed that students' affective mathematics engagement was statistically significantly improved through coding-integrated mathematics education. In particular, students exhibited increased positive affective mathematics engagement in terms of mathematical attitude, emotion, and value. These findings indicate the positive influence of coding-integrated mathematics education on students' learning in mathematics.
This study aims to explore the 'affective value' of records. Traditionally, records have been evaluated as having evidence value, information value, and artificial value. However, the 'affective turn' in the humanities and social sciences, which began in the 1990s, calls for discussion on the affective value of records. The overseas archive academia is in full swing discussing the emotional value of records after the 'affective turn'. However, there is no emotional discussion on records in the domestic archive academia. This study first conducts theoretical discussions to overcome these domestic limitations and explore the emotional value of archives in earnest. Following the theoretical discussion, a specific case will be dealt with next. As a representative storage of affect, which records the pain, sadness, and condolences of the domestic disaster era, this study investigates the record management case of the 4.16 Memory Storage. The Ferry Sewol disaster, which provided a dramatic opportunity to witness the unexpected ripple effect of affect in Korea, and the 4.16 Memory Storage as a recording activity, can be seen as a representative example of affective recording of the pain and sadness of survivors of the trauma incident. It will capture the differentiation of affet recording, which is different from the record management practice, and demonstrate empirically how this differentiation is implemented from collection to evaluation and service through the '4.16 Memory Storage'.

IT consulting is becoming a norm rather than exception in this age of smart work and information revolution. As IT consulting is one of the knowledge intensive services requiring high credence on both sides, maintaining a good trustful relationship is critical in sustenance of strategic partnership between business firms and IT service firms. Trust is known to be one of the salient constructs in service relationships. In this study, building from the social psychology literature, trust is conceptualized as two dimensions : cognitive and affective trust. Using two dimensions of trust as mediators, a research model is constructed for IT consulting specific context : relationship continuance intention as the dependent construct while expertise, service performance, reputation, relationship satisfaction and value similarity as antecedents of cognitive and affective trust. 145 data points were collected through a survey of IT service client project managers retrospectively asking their experience with IT consultants. Findings suggest that cognitive trust is associated with perceived level of expertise and service performance while affective trust with relationship satisfaction and value similarity, respectively. Interestingly, the paths from reputation are found to be statistically insignificant towards both dimensions of trust, indicating IT service context would be more practically outcome oriented than any other professional service context. Also, cognitive trust seems to maintain stronger influence on relationship continuance intention as anticipated. Implications and limitations are discussed at the end.
The aim of this study was to examine how customers perceive storytelling at a real local restaurant and to understand how consumption reflects their evaluation by understanding their values. Participants received information from a real local restaurant in the Gangneung area to examine the effects of storytelling and to evaluate their affective attitudes towards local restaurant stories, word-of-mouth intentions, and purchasing intentions using a seven-point Likert scale. A total of 310 consumers were used. A factor analysis was performed to identify consumption value characteristics and factor structure, which consisted economic value, emotional value, and epistemic value. To test whether local restaurant consumers could be classified into homogenous groups based on their consumption values, a three cluster solution was selected, and a Kmeans cluster analysis was performed. As a result, three groups were identified and labeled appropriate for their scores based on each of the consumption values; emotional value-oriented consumers to cluster 1, epistemic value-oriented consumers to cluster 2, and economic value-oriented consumers to cluster 3. An analysis of variance was used to examine the differences in the affective attitudes towards storytelling at the local restaurant, purchasing intentions, and word-of-mouth intentions across the three clusters. The epistemic value-oriented consumers had the highest score for all three variables. In contrast, economic value-oriented consumers had the lowest scores for the three variables. A regression analysis revealed that affective attitudes towards storytelling were significantly affected by these three consumption values. It also showed that positive affective attitudes towards storytelling were associated with higher purchasing intention and word-of-mouth. The significance of this study was to show how customers perceive storytelling at a real restaurant and reflect on their evaluation by understanding their consumption values. As a result, this study examined the potential power of storytelling as an effective marketing communication tool for local restaurants.

Investigating the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and their effects on affective mathematics engagement in a cultural context is critical for determining which types of motivation promote affective mathematics engagement and the relationship with cultural affordance. The investigation in the current study is comprised of two dependent studies. The results from Phase 1 indicate that attitude and emotion are better explained by extrinsic motivation, while self-acknowledgment and value are better explained by intrinsic motivation. The results of Phase 2 indicate that the Korean sample has greater extrinsic motivation, attitude, and emotion, while the U.S. sample has greater intrinsic motivation, self-acknowledgment, and value. The key outcome for this research is that disentangling cultural affordance from the emotional and cognitive structures is impossible.
Purpose -The purpose of this paper is to advance the understanding of affective commitment in employees of Korean companies' subsidiaries in Mexico. Specifically, we study the moderating effects of cultural orientation on the relationship between perceived corporate social responsibility (CSR) and affective commitment among these Mexican employees. Research design and methodology - This study was designed to explore the impact of perceived CSR on affective commitment and the moderating roles of collectivism and power distance on the employer-employee relationship. We applied hierarchical regression to survey data collected from 296 employees working for Korean company subsidiaries in Mexico to examine the proposed hypotheses. Results - The results show a significant positive effect from perceived CSR on affective commitment. In addition, this study confirms a positive moderating effect from collectivism and a negative moderating impact from power distance on the relationship between perceived CSR and affective commitment. Conclusions - Drawing upon social identity theory, this study found that Mexican employees' perceptions of their company's CSR and their own cultural value orientations influence affective commitment to the organization. This study extends the understanding of perceived CSR and affective commitment, and particularly demonstrates that the relationship between perceived CSR and affective commitment is influenced by employee collectivistic and power distance orientation.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 'problem posing from mathematical problems' on the students' affective domain of mathematics, and to conduct evaluation and management of teachers' respectively. The quantitative and qualitative approaches were combined to analyze the changes in the affective achievement of all the students and individual students in the study. The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, problem-posing class improved the problem-solving ability and meaningful experience in the learning activity itself, thus improving students' self-confidence, interest, value, and desire to learn. Second, The students' affective domain of mathematics should be emphasized, and systematic evaluation and management should be carried out from the first grade of middle school to high school senior in mathematics. Third, it is necessary to present and disseminate them in detail on the national-level to evaluation system and method of affective domain of mathematics. Therefore, the teacher should actively implement the problem-posing teaching and learning in the classroom lesson and help students' affective achievement. and teachers need to measure and manage the affective achievement of all students on a regular basis.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Portfolio applied science instruction on the students' scientific affective domain and perceptions of portfolio in elementary schools. Portfolio applied science instruction of the 6th grade science unit 'Environment pollution and Nature protection' was developed for this study. Traditional instruction was implemented to the control group and portfolio applied science instruction was implemented to the experimental group. Pretests of the scientific affective domain were administered to both groups. The treatment was given for about seven weeks for both groups. Instruments about scientific affective domain were administered to both groups. A questionnaire on perception of portfolio applied science instruction was given to the experimental group after the treatment. The results were analyzed using t-test on the students' scientific affective domain. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Portfolio applied science instruction program for elementary schools was developed. Students themselves determine the portfolio learning goal in a portfolio applied science instruction. Students construct the portfolio and they evaluate themselves and other colleagues. Also teachers go on portfolio applied science instruction considering portfolio purpose, concepts, evaluation. 2. There was not a statistically meaningful difference between an experimental group and a control group o]1 the students' scientific affective domain. In three sub categories of a scientific affective domain, the science perception, the interest on science and scientific attitude, there were not statistically meaningful difference among them. 3. As the results of the questionnaire on perceptions of portfolio, they didn't understand it very well but after learning portfolio, they showed positive attitude to perceptions of portfolio. Students in portfolio applied science instruction like more the portfolio applied science instruction than general instruction. 4. Portfolio applied science instruction has an useful value as a method of teaching and evaluation. Students and teachers can produce various portfolios products in portfolio applied science instruction. As a conclusion, portfolio applied science instruction was not statistically meaningful on the students' scientific affective domain, but it gives positive effects on perceptions of portfolio in elementary schools. Therefore, portfolio has an educational value as a method of teaching and evaluation for students' growth. In the future, teachers and students must have interaction and feedback in portfolio applied science instruction.

This study aims to clarify the implications of rapidly growing live commerce in China by examining the multifaceted aspects of social presence, in particular to help small commerce operators and platform companies. It examines the effect of cognitive and affective social presence on consumer engagement by evaluating consumption values and trust in streamers. In this survey study, the responses of 221 individuals residing in large cities of China were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results showed that cognitive social presence had a positive effect on consumer engagement by mediating the utilitarian value and trust in streamers. Furthermore, affective social presence had a positive effect on consumer engagement through the hedonic value and trust in streamers. Thus, our research provides a new perspective to approaching a multidimensional social presence and understanding consumer behavior in live commerce. Moreover, it contributes to the application and expansion of social presence theory in this field.
This study aims to develop strategies for improving the affective characteristics of Korean students based on results from international achievement tests. In pursuing the goal, different research methods are employed including a) analysis of the theories and literature regarding the affective domains included in PISA and TIMSS studies; b) analysis of the current situation and needs of Korean students with respect to the affective factors based on PISA and TIMSS results; c) case studies of best practices in relation to students' affective domains in Korea and abroad; and d) development of strategies for improving and supporting Korean students' affective characteristics. In this paper, first of all, relevant theories on affective characteristics in literature are introduced. In other words, the concepts of three affective domains in question - interest, self-efficacy, and value - are reviewed, and their definitions for the present study are made. Also, teaching strategies and support plans for improving students' affective factors are extracted from previous studies. Furthermore, this paper reviews recent trends in research on how the affective domains are related to mathematics education and how one can teach them effectively. The teaching guidelines for each affective domain are developed according to the instruction principles extracted through literature review in general for all subjects. Based on the results of the findings mentioned above, this paper establishes and suggests the guidelines on how to teach mathematics reflecting the affective characteristic.
