The navigation message is composed of the information contained in the message and the structure for transmitting this information. In order to design a navigation message, considerations in terms of message content and message structure must be elicited. For designing a Korea Positioning System (KPS) navigation message, this paper explains performance indicators in terms of message structure and message content. Most of the performance analysis of GNSS navigation messages already in operation was performed only for Time-to-first-fix-Data (TTFFD). However, in the navigation message, the message content is composed of Clock-Ephemeris Data (CED) and additional information. So, this paper proposes a new performance indicator R_(Non-CED) that can be analyzed from the viewpoint of receiving additional information along with an explanation of TTFFD focusing on the CED reception time. This paper analyze the performance in terms of message structure using these two performance indicators. The message structures used for analysis are the packetized message protocol like GPS CNAV and the packetized and fixed pattern message protocol like GPS CNAV-2. From the results, it is possible to proffer how KPS navigation messages can have better performance than GPS navigation messages. And, these two performance indicators, TTFFD and RNon-CED, can help to design the minimum TTFF required performance of KPS navigation messages.

In recent years, container techniques have been broadly applied to cloud computing systems to maximize their efficiency, flexibility, and economic feasibility. Concurrently, studies have also been conducted to ensure the security of cloud computing. Among these studies, moving-target defense techniques using the high agility and flexibility of cloud-computing systems are gaining attention. Moving-target defense (MTD) is a technique that prevents various security threats in advance by proactively changing the main attributes of the protected target to confuse the attacker. However, an analysis of existing MTD techniques revealed that, although they are capable of deceiving attackers, MTD techniques have practical limitations when applied to an actual cloud-computing system. These limitations include resource wastage, management complexity caused by additional function implementation and system introduction, and a potential increase in attack complexity. Accordingly, this paper proposes a software-defined MTD system that can flexibly apply and manage existing and future MTD techniques. The proposed software-defined MTD system is designed to correctly define a valid mutation range and cycle for each moving-target technique and monitor system-resource status in a software-defined manner. Consequently, the proposed method can flexibly reflect the requirements of each MTD technique without any additional hardware by using a software-defined approach. Moreover, the increased attack complexity can be resolved by applying multiple MTD techniques.

This study analyzed the methods for representing and linking personal information in the linked data of National Library of Korea and provided suggestions for expanding the scope of identifying and linking of the personal information. As a result, the personal information as a subject has been dealt with a concept, where the personal information as a contributor has been linked with a vocabulary of personal name. In addition, there have not been assured of including additional information except existing authority data in the process of building the linked data. Therefore, this study suggested that linking personal information as a subject and personal information as a contributor was essential for the quality of linked data. In addition, we proposed to provide additional information related to the person in linked data for expanding the scope of access points in information discovery.
This study investigated the effects of smart phone usage motives and fashion brand app factors upon the intention to accept fashion brand applications. Data were collected from 250 female college students living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. 220 reliable data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, ANOVA,, Duncan test, paired t-test, chi-square analysis, regression. The results were as follows: Firstly, the 'information acquisition' and the'use of time' were considered to be the most important motive factors driving consumer's smart phone usage. Secondly, the motives underpinning smart phone user's intention to accept a fashion brand application were 'social relationships', 'entertainment', and 'information acquisition'. Thirdly, the frequently used factors during the usage of fashion brand application could be classified in order of frequency as follows: 'product information provision', 'store information provision', 'coordinated information provision', 'fashion information provision', 'entertainment provision', 'hobbies and life information provision', virtual wearing provision', 'SNS provision', and, 'events and coupons provision'. Fourthly, a factor analysis of these nine factors were classified into 'basic information type', and 'additional information type'. The influences of basic information type and the additional information type upon the intention to accept the fashion brand application showed the following significant result: The basic information type had a greater influence upon the intention to accept the fashion brand app.

This study presents a new system that can make up for the decrease in identification rate due to the environmental or physical factors of a fingerprint identification system, which is most actively used among existing biometric systems. Considered most usable in life among many types of biometrics due to the convenience of use, smaller initial investment, and the smaller size, fingerprint identification is widely used in diverse applications. However, a fingerprint identification system has several defects, including environmental factors, physical skin damage, and variable sensor contact, lowering the identification rate in comparison to other biometric systems. On the basis of the existing fingerprint system, this study presents a more efficient system that can improve the identification rate by getting additional biometric information and three-dimensional finger type information through the use of simple and inexpensive additional equipment, which can be used in diverse areas.

In this paper, we proposed analysis additional data transmission scheme based on T-DMB system with watermarking technique for emergency broadcasting service. By applying the proposed scheme to T-DMB system, it allows additional data transmission and improves spectral efficiency of data transmission through watermarking spreading code. In the emergency situation, we can react the emergency situation using the emergency information that generated by proposed scheme. We are certified availability of our proposed technology by using various simulation. The performance is evaluated in terms of bit error rate (BER). From the simulation result, we confirmed the performance of T-DMB system embedded watermarking scheme and it is shown that system performance is affected the watermarking level. The results of the paper can be applied to wireless multimedia digital broadcasting system.

Purpose: The present study aimed to evaluate the clinical benefit of additional toothbrushing accompanying non-surgical periodontal treatment on oral and general health in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: We conducted a doubled-blind randomized controlled trial in 60 T2DM patients between June 2013 and June 2014. The patients were randomly assigned to the scaling and root planing (SRP) group; the scaling and root planing with additional toothbrushing (SRPAT) group, in which additional toothbrushing was performed by toothpick methods; or the control group. Microbiological and oral examinations were performed for up to 12 weeks following treatment. Non-surgical treatment was conducted in the experimental groups. The SRP group received scaling and root planing and the SRPAT group received additional toothbrushing with the Watanabe method once a week from the first visit through the fifth visit. The primary outcomes were changes in haemoglobin A1c (or glycated haemoglobin; HbA1c) levels, serum endotoxin levels, and interleukin-1 beta levels. Periodontal health status was measured by periodontal pocket depth, the calculus index, and bleeding on probing (BOP). Results: Both the SRP and SRPAT groups showed improvements in periodontal health and HbA1c, but the SRPAT group showed significantly less BOP than the SRP group. Furthermore, only the SRPAT group showed a statistically significant decrease in serum endotoxin levels. Conclusions: Non-surgical periodontal treatment was effective in improving HbA1c and serum endotoxin levels in T2DM patients. Furthermore, non-surgical treatment with additional tooth brushing had a more favourable effect on gingival bleeding management. This paper deals with a standard cell placement which is based on a quadratic programming. This paper proposes a new additional force to reduce the cell overlap and to get a uniform distribution of cells. The additional force is not concerned with interconnections between cells, but it is determined by the density of a placement area. In this paper, we modelled that the new additional force is a force which is caused by the dummy fixed cell. And it is used for the global placement. Proposed placement method is compared with TimberWolf v7.0 and Itools vl.4. Proposed placer achieved 7.5% average reduction in wirelength in non timing driven mode, 5.0% average reduction in wlrelength in timing driven mode compared to TimberWolf v7.0. And we got a comparable result to Itools vl.4.
