This study was performed to obtain data which can be applied to use of water-proof mortars. The data was based on the properties of water-proof mortars depending upon various mixing ratios to compare those of cement mortar. The water-proof agents used were retard and accelerate type which are being used as mortar structures. The water-proof agents, mixing ratios of cement to fine aggregate were 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4. The results obtained were summarised as follows; 1. The results of flow test, water-cement ratio was increased with the increasing of mixing ratio. 2. The permeability were increased in poorer mixing ratio and higher water pressure. 3. The bulk density was decreased with the increasing of mixing ratio, and compressive and tensile strength were increased with increasing of the bulk density. 4. At 1:1 mixing ratio, the highest strengths were showed and strengths were decreased with the increasing of mixing ratio. 5. The absorption rates were increased in- poorer mixing ratio 6. The correlation between W/C, permeability, bulk density, compressive strength and absorption rate were highly significant as a straight line, respectively.

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of various mix designs of concrete on the compressive strengths and corrosive rates when the concretes were immersed in sea water of the West Sea, as the part of study related to durated to durability of concrete by action of the sea water. Concrete mix designs used in this study were ordinary Concrete mix, Concrete mixes with different admixtures such as fly ash, pozzolith and vinsol resin, and pozzolan concrete mix. The concrete specimens were made and cured for 7 days and 28 days in the fresh water in accordance with the Korean Standard specification for concrete. Compressive strengths of the specimens were measured after immersing the specimens for one year in fresh water and sea water which were placed indoors. The sea water used in this test was taken from the Bay of Ahsan. Corrosive rate was also tested after immersing the specimens in the same sea water and placed indoors for one year. The results obtained from the tests are summarized as follows; 1. Compressive strength of an ordinary concrete was the lowest of the various mix desings of concrete immersed both in the fresh water and the sea water. Therefore, the uses of pozzolan cement, fly ash, pozoolith and vinsol resin in mix design of concrete had and effect on increasing compressive strength. 2. Pozzolan concrete was the most effective on compressive strength in the fresh water, but it had less effect than concrete with fly ash admixture immersed in the sea water. 3. The use of fly ash admixture in mix design of concrete showed higher strength as the immersing age is longer both in fresh water and sea water than the other concretes besides pozzolan concrete, but the concretewith fly ash admixture had lower strength than pozzolan concrete in the sea water. Therefore, concrete with fly ash admixture might be better than the pozzolan concrete as far as durability of concrete to sea water was concerned. 4. The use of pozzolith admixture in mix design of concrete had less compressive strength than the use of pozzolan cement for fly ash admixture both in fresh water and sea water. However, the concrete with pozzolith admixture was much stronger than one with vinsol resin admixture in fresh water, but somewhat stronger in the sea water. 5. Though the use of vinsol resin admixture was more effective than ordinary concrete on compressive strength both in fresh water and sea water, it was the least compressive strength among the other concretes. 6. Relation between compressive strengths and absorption rates of every kind of concrete besides concrete with fly ash admixture showed a linear regression line and the compressive strength is highee as the absorption rate is lower. Concrete with fly ash admixture had extremely high strength in comparison with corresponding adsorption rates of the other concretes. 7. Corrosive appearance on the surface of concretes was not occured significantly when exposed to the sea water for one year, However, the specimens of concretes besides ordinary concrete were a little heavier than those cured in fresh water for 28 days.

ZnO films were fabricated on p-type Si(100) wafer ITO glass and quartz glass by the sol-gel process using zinc acetate dihydrate as starting material. A homogeneous and stable solution was prepared by dissolving the zinc acetate dihydrate in a solution of 2-methoxyethanol and monoethanolamine (MEA). ZnO films were deposited by spin-coating at 2800 rpm for 25 s and were dried on a hot plate at $250^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. Crystallization of the films was carried out at $400^{\circ}C$~$800^{\circ}C$ for 1 h in air. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis transmittance spectroscopy, FTIR transmittance spectroscopy and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy measurements have been used to study the structural and optical properties of the films. ZnO films highly oriented along the (002)plane were obtained. In all cases the films were found to be transparent (above 70%) in visible range with a sharp absorption edge at wavelengths of about 380nm, which is very close to the intrinsic band-gap of ZnO(3.2 eV). The low temperature band-edge photoluminescence revealed a complicated multi-line structure in terms of bound exciton complexes and the phonon replicas.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the test-retest of plantar pressures using the F-Scan system over speeds and plantar regions. 6 healthy female subjects in 20's were recruited for the study. Plantar pressure measurements during locomotor activities can provide information concerning foot function, particularly if the timing and magnitude of the loading profile can be related to the location of specific foot structures such as the metatarsal heads. The Tekscan F-Scan system consists of a flexible, 0.18mm thick sole-shape having 1260 pressure sensors, the sensor insole was trimmed to fit the subjects' right. left shoes - sneakers shoes & dress shoes. It was calibrated by the known weight of the test subject standing on one foot. The Tekscan measurements show the insole pressure distribution as a function of the time. This finding has important implications for the development of plantar pressure test protocols where the function of the forefoot is important. According to the result of analysis it is as follows 1) Center of force trajectory in women's dress shoes display direct movement, compare with center of force trajectory in Sneaker shoes displays a little bit curved slow pronation movement. Sneaker shoes in forefoot part display very quick supination movement, therefore, this shoes effects negative effectiveness for ankle's stability Considering center of force trajectory analyzing the more center of force close straight line, the more movement can be quick movement for locomotion. For foot pressure distribution, center of force trajectory in locomotion is better to curved trajectory with pronation movement. So sneaker shoes style is good shoes considering center of pressure distribution trajectory compare with women's dress shoes. 2) Women's dress shoes increased peak pressure in medial, this is effected by high hill's height. The more increased women's dress shoes's height, the more women's peak pressure will increase, pronation can increase compare with before. Supination movement increase, this focused pressure in lateral, also, supination increased more. If the supination movement increased, foot pressure focused in lateral, therefore, it is appeared force distribution in gait direction. This is bad movement in foot's stability. 3) Women's dress shoes in landing phase displayed a long time, this is when women's dress shoes wear, gait movement is unbalance, so, landing phase displayed a long time. For compensation in gait, swing phase quick movement. 4) Women's dress shoes displayed peak pressure distribution in lateral of rearfoot part, Sneakers shoes displayed peak pressure distribution in medial of forefoot part. Its results has good impact absorption compare with women's dress shoes. In forefoot part, sneakers shoes has good propulsive force compare with women's dress shoes.
This research will be utilized as a base line data by researching on growth and the accumulation of inorganic nutrients during the cultivation period of zoysiagrass and also to establish a cultivation strategy of zoysiagrass. It involves the management such as fertilizer and mowing which ultimately led to the difference of growth and accumulation of inorganic nutrients. The accumulation of inorganic nutrients after mowing, the amount of accumulation was small when compared to the amount lost for the shoot, rhizome and root. Difference in the accumulation of inorganic nutrients, but as for K, Ca and Mg accumulation it shows similar aspects to N accumulation. The orders of inorganic nutrients in zoysiagrass were N > K > P > Ca > Mg. The characteristics of inorganic nutrients absorption of such zoysiagrass acts as the foundation of cultivation, and in the aspect of making decisions on the fertilization amount and soil management, it is closely related to the requirement on nutrients. In order to increase the productivity based on the zoysiagrass's growth and density rate improvement, accumulation of inorganic nutrients per growth period needs to be analyzed, and supplying nutrients in an efficient method suitable to the growth period is advisable, so such basic research was necessary.

Human body communication means transmitting and receiving data through human body medium or through free space along with the human body skin. Electric field distribution around the human body between the transmitter and the receiver were calculated at five different frequencies with 5 MHz interval between 10 MHz and 30 MHz. Commercial electromagnetic simulation tool was used for the calculation of E-field distributions applying the Korean standard male model including 29 different kinds of human tissues. After calculating specific absorption rate(SAR) values on back of the hand, it was compared with International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection(ICNIRP) human protection guideline. While conductivities(${\sigma}$) and relative permittivities(${\varepsilon}_r$) of the human tissues for each frequency were input as the analyzing parameters, electric field intensities near both hands were integrated along the integral line between the nearby electrodes for the calculation of the transmitting and receiving voltages whose ratio was defined as channel loss. The calculated channel losses were about ($75{\pm}1$) dB and showed nearly flat response all through the evaluated frequencies.
The purpose of this experiment intend to evaluate the quality of the image based on the orbit and basal ganglia with high radiosensitivity for the noise, SNR and dose using the five kinds patient fixing pad in brain phantom MDCT(BrillianceTM CT 64 slice, PHILIPS, Netherward). The noise had a higher values in AP than those of others, but the SNR was lower in AP than those of others. The SNR was higher in UP than those of RP, PP, SP and AP. The UP, RP and PP were no statistically significant(p>0.05), whereas it was significant difference between UP, RP, PP and SP, AP(p<0.05). This is causes of the noise difference is generated due to the differences in the radiation absorption dose in accordance with each the component of the absorbed dose level of the detector according to the reference line and each of SOML when the radiation exposured. The CTDIvol(mGy) and DLP of orbit and basal ganglia were 56.95, 911.50, respectively. There is no difference between both mean dose. In conclusion, it is possible to distinguish among a kind of 5 patient fixing pad by using brain phantom MDCT. Overall, patient fixing pad of UP, RP and PP based on a brain phantom MDCT can provide useful information.

The slow evolution of global magnetic fields and other dynamical processes in atmospheres of CP magnetic stars lead to the development of induced electric currents in all conductive atmospheric layers. The Lorentz force, which results from the interaction between a magnetic field and the induced currents, may modify the atmospheric structure and provide insight into the formation and evolution of stellar magnetic fields. This modification of the pressure-temperature structure influences the formation of absorption spectral features producing characteristic rotational variability of some spectral lines, especially the Balmer lines (Valyavin et al., 2004 and references therein). In order to study these theoretical predictions we began systematic spectroscopic survey of Balmer line variability in spectra of brightest CP magnetic stars. Here we present the first results of the program. A0p star $\Theta$ Aur revealed significant variability of the Balmer profiles during the star's rotation. Character of this variablity corresponds to that classified by Kroll (1989) as a result of an impact of significant Lorentz force. From the obtained data we estimate that amplitudes of the variation at H$\alpha$, H$\beta$, H$\gamma$ and H$\delta$ profiles reach up to $2.4\%$during full rotation cycle of the star. Using computation of our model atmospheres (Valyavin et al., 2004) we interpret these data within the framework of the simplest model of the evolution of global magnetic fields in chemically peculiar stars. Assuming that the field is represented by a dipole, we estimate the characteristic e.m.f. induced by the field decay electric current (and the Lorentz force as the result) on the order of $E {\~} 10^{-11}$ cgs units, which may indicate very fast (< < $10^{10}$ years) evolution rate of the field. This result strongly contradicts the theoretical point of view that global stellar magnetic fields of CP stars are fossil and their the characteristic decay time of about $10^{10}$ yr. Alternatively, we briefly discuss concurring effects (like the ambipolar diffusion) which may also lead to significant atmospheric currents producing the observable Lorentz force.
We present the results of simultaneous monitoring observations of $H_2O$$6_{1,6}-5_{2,3}$ (22GHz) and SiO J=1-0, 2-1, 3-2 maser lines (43, 86, 129GHz) toward five post-AGB (candidate) stars, using the 21-m single-dish telescopes of the Korean VLBI Network. Depending on the target objects, 7 - 11 epochs of data were obtained. We detected both $H_2O$ and SiO maser lines from four sources: OH16.1-0.3, OH38.10-0.13, OH65.5+1.3, and IRAS 19312+1950. We could not detect $H_2O$ maser emission toward OH13.1+5.1 between the late OH/IR and post-AGB stage. The detected $H_2O$ masers show typical double-peaked line profiles. The SiO masers from four sources, except IRAS 19312+1950, show the peaks around the stellar velocity as a single peak, whereas the SiO masers from IRAS 19312+1950 occur above the red peak of the $H_2O$ maser. We analyzed the properties of detected maser lines, and investigated their evolutionary state through comparison with the full widths at zero power. The distribution of observed target sources was also investigated in the IRAS two-color diagram in relation with the evolutionary stage of post-AGB stars. From our analyses, the evolutionary sequence of observed sources is suggested as OH65.5+1.3${\rightarrow}$OH13.1+5.1${\rightarrow}$OH16.1-0.3${\rightarrow}$OH38.10-0.13, except for IRAS 19312+1950. In addition, OH13.1+5.1 from which the $H_2O$ maser has not been detected is suggested to be on the gateway toward the post-AGB stage. With respect to the enigmatic object, IRAS 19312+1950, we could not clearly figure out its nature. To properly explain the unusual phenomena of SiO and $H_2O$ masers, it is essential to establish the relative locations and spatial distributions of two masers using VLBI technique. We also include the $1.2-160{\mu}m$ spectral energy distribution using photometric data from the following surveys: 2MASS, WISE, MSX, IRAS, and AKARI (IRC and FIS). In addition, from the IRAS LRS spectra, we found that the depth of silicate absorption features shows significant variations depending on the evolutionary sequence, associated with the termination of AGB phase mass-loss.
Simulating the clumping and stiffness of wet hair or fur is a challenging problem. The dynamics of wet hair or fur is characterized by the clumping and stiffness at the tip, which is easily seen in running animals or headbanging scenes. Existing methods address these phenomenon within pre-set scenarios. But there is no consensus on the method of depicting the details of wet hair. Hence, the present paper proposes a new method of modeling the clumping and stiffness of wet hair or fur. Previous studies focused on modeling the absorption of water into hair or fur, whereas this paper highlights a realistic simulation of wet hair. Unlike dry hair strands, wet hair strands adjacent to one another are subjected to the clumping force and gather together, while at the same time becoming stiff as the saturation of water increases. The proposed method builds on the surface tension model based on SPH (smoothed particle hydrodynamics) to simulate the clumping force and to adjust the hair elasticity by giving stiffness constraints. The present method enables a realistic simulation of wet hair by maintaining the clumping force of the wet hair even in dynamic motions, and by simulating the stiffness of hair in line with water saturation.
