A 3-stage Pipelined Architecture for Multi-View Images Decoder3 (단계 파이프라인 구조를 갖는 Multi-View 영상 디코더)

  • In this paper, we proposed the architecture of the decoder which implements the multi-view images decoding algorithm. The study of the hardware structure of the multi-view image processing has not been accomplished. The proposed multi-view images decoder operates in a three stage pipelined manner and extracts the depth of the pixels of the decoded image every clock. The multi-view images decoder consists of three modules, Node selector which transfers the value of the nodes repeatedly and Depth Extractor which extracts the depth of each pixel from the four values of the nodes and Affine transformer which generates the projecting position on the image plane from the values of the pixels and the specified viewpoint. The proposed architecture is designed and simulated by the Max+plus II design tool and the operating frequency is 30MHz. The image can be constructed in a real time by the decoder with the proposed architecture.

  • The purpose of Environmental subject in the Korean school is pretty much similar to that of international organization. Because it doesn't apply the characteristics of School Education to environmental education, this school environmental education purpose needs to be discussed. The purpose of this study is to establish the reasonable purpose of school environmental education by analyzing the educational views. This study have been done through review of research literature, which usually includes references and papers on environmental education, school environmental education, educational point of view, educational purpose. It analyzed three kinds of views on education: technological view on education, initiation view on education, socialization view on education. The results are as follows: The purpose of school environmental education from technological view on education is environmental education activity itself that educates students to put the environmental preservation value into action. Initiation view on education aims at school environmental education as activities that instruct students on intellectual ability in order to develop a comprehensive view of intelligence. The purpose of environmental education in school on the basis of socialization view on education focuses on activities that authoritative teachers transmit the social value of environmental preservation to students in school.

  • This research was done to classify lower body types by direct measurements, side and back view types from waistline to gluteal furrow line individually, and to analyze correspondence these lower body types with side and back view types from waistline to gluteal furrow line. The subjects of this study were 191 female college students from 18 to 25 years old residing in Pusan urban area. Type 1(long and slim) of lower body types by direct measurements was correspond with Type 1(slim curve) and Type 4(slim and protrusive hip) of side view and Type 3(wide and curve) and Type 4(trapezoid shape) of back view. Type 2(short and thick) of lower body types was correspond with Type 3(thick and droopy hip) of side view and Type 1(wide and straight) of back view. Type 3(short and slim) of lower body types was correspond with Type 2(slim and flat hip) of side view and Type 2(narrow and curve) of back view.

Preservice and Inservice Teachers비 Perception on the Nature of Science (과학의 본성에 대한 예비 교사와 현직 교사의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate inservice elementary teachers' view and the change of preservice elementary teachers' view on the nature of science by the science education course. The subjects were 386 junior preservice teachers in a National University of Education and 257 inservice teachers working in a metropolitan city. An instrument consisting of fifty eight items were developed on the bases of previous studies. Before entering the course, preservice teachers view was compared by gender with T-test and no significant differences were found except the category 'role of a scientist'. Preservice teachers view was also compared by major with ANOVA and significant differences were found on the categories 'scientific method' and 'scientific law'. After the course, on comparing their view by gender, significant differences were found on the categories 'scientific theory', 'scientific knowledge', and 'scientific law'. The result of ANOVA by major, significant differences were found except the category 'role of a scientist'. Inservice teachers view was compared by gender and major and the differences were no significant, the significant differences, however, were founded in comparing by career and ability.

  • Purpose: Individuals' view of multiculturalism can be varied. The purpose of this study was to survey subjective view of and attitude toward multiculturalism in first-year undergraduate nursing students who had completed a multicultural subject. Methods: The Q methodology, which integrates quantitative and qualitative methods, was used. Forty one Q-statements selected from each of the 40 participants were classified into the shape of normal distribution using a nine-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using the QUANL program. Results: Two types of view of multiculturalism were identified: 'domestic type-constructive view' and 'global type-advanced view.' Conclusion: The findings show how nursing students think about multiculturalism and provide a basis for further research and education.

  • It is not easy to find the auxiliary line to solve the problem in connection with the circle, where it is the problem finding the central angle or angle at the circumference in a circle. The purpose of the study is to give an aid for this difficulties. The angle at the circumference is closely related to the arc. And so we looked into the problem in connection with the angle at the circumference in point of view of the arc. We have got the following the results. It is not necessary to draw the auxiliary line when solving the problem in connection with the angle at the circumference in point of view of the arc. And we can find the reason to draw the specific auxiliary in point of view of the arc. We hope that the results of research are given aids to a lot of students.

  • A mediator-wrapper system, which is one of integration methods of heterogeneous databases, preserves a virtual integrated view rather than physical movement of the contents of each database. In order for a mediator to preserve a virtual integrated view, it requires the schema manager of the wrapper which communicates with local databases. This paper presents a schema manager of a wrapper that provides a mediator with XML schema which is generated from relational database schema. The XML schema manager supports a user-defined XML view. We present the view tree model which is used for materializing the use-defined XML view to generate XML schema, and the conversion algorithm based on the proposed view tree model. This model is can be uniformly applied to all schema managers of heterogeneous information sources.

  • This paper presents a 3D video content generation technique and system that uses the multi-view images and the depth map. The proposed uses 3-view video and depth inputs from the 3-view video camera and depth camera for the 3D video content production. Each camera is calibrated using Tsai's calibration method, and its parameters are used to rectify multi-view images for the multi-view stereo matching. The depth and disparity maps for the center-view are obtained from both the depth camera and the multi-view stereo matching technique. These two maps are fused to obtain more reliable depth map. Obtained depth map is not only used to insert a virtual object to the scene based on the depth key, but is also used to synthesize virtual viewpoint images. Some preliminary test results are given to show the functionality of the proposed technique.

  • The multi-view video is a collection of multiple videos capturing the same scene at different viewpoints. The multi-view video can be used in various applications, including free viewpoint TV and three-dimensional TV. Since the data size of the multi-view video linearly increases as the number of cameras, it is necessary to compress multi-view video data for efficient storage and transmission. The multi-view video can be coded using the concept of the layered depth image (LDI). In this paper, we describe a procedure to generate LDI from the natural multi-view video and present a method to encode multi-view video using the concept of LDI.

Virtual View-point Depth Image Synthesis System for CGH (CGH를 위한 가상시점 깊이영상 합성 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose Multi-view CGH Making System using method of generation of virtual view-point depth image. We acquire reliable depth image using TOF depth camera. We extract parameters of reference-view cameras. Once the position of camera of virtual view-point is defined, select optimal reference-view cameras considering position of it and distance between it and virtual view-point camera. Setting a reference-view camera whose position is reverse of primary reference-view camera as sub reference-view, we generate depth image of virtual view-point. And we compensate occlusion boundaries of virtual view-point depth image using depth image of sub reference-view. In this step, remaining hole boundaries are compensated with minimum values of neighborhood. And then, we generate final depth image of virtual view-point. Finally, using result of depth image from these steps, we generate CGH. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm performs much better than conventional algorithms.
