At these day, owing to functional limitations and cost issues, used image map in web service have a problem which can not make exactly meet the user needs. This study aims to create an individual map for user suitable purposes using HTML5 technology that implement the vector map creation and its functions with services. The results of this study, the invisible problems of the tilting and rotation functions in image-based map utilizing the existing web environment were solved in HTML5 vector map. And to access the map information, by implementing the function of expressing the background and name data to selectively derive, various results were expressed in the map. Also, as a result of a comparison of performance the time required was measured at 0.88sec which comes in the range of the first loading time between 0.78sec and 7.56sec in a commercial map service, which showed the possibility of its commercialization. compared to 180GB of image maps for the production of a national map index system, the volume to produce a vector map was 2.5GB, a decrease by over 90%, which solved the issue of costs for a storage space. As a result, this study of HTML5 vector map design and implementation presented a plan for providing information suitable for the requirements of the users who use spatial information through utilizing a variety of information and expanding functions.

When spatial data which a user requests are stored various data servers in web mapping environment, it is necessary to access one more map servers to gain data and then integrate them. This paper designs and implements a fusion map server for web mapping. The proposed fusion map server has three characteristics. First, it has customizing metadata which reflect various user's requests. Second, it provides fusion services which integrate spatial and non-spatial data. Last, it uses the dynamic liking method to support the fusion services efficiently. We design and implement a publisher client, a map server and a fusion map server for proposed map server.

This paper presents the effects of depth map quantization for multiview intermediate image generation using depth image-based rendering (DIBR). DIBR synthesizes multiple virtual views of a 3D scene from a 2D image and its associated depth map. However, it needs precise depth information in order to generate reliable and accurate intermediate view images for use in multiview 3D display systems. Previous work has extensively studied the pre-processing of the depth map, but little is known about depth map quantization. In this paper, we conduct an experiment to estimate the depth map quantization that affords acceptable image quality to generate DIBR-based multiview intermediate images. The experiment uses computer-generated 3D scenes, in which the multiview images captured directly from the scene are compared to the multiview intermediate images constructed by DIBR with a number of quantized depth maps. The results showed that there was no significant effect on depth map quantization from 16-bit to 7-bit (and more specifically 96-scale) on DIBR. Hence, a depth map above 7-bit is needed to maintain sufficient image quality for a DIBR-based multiview 3D system.

Most car navigation systems(CNS) estimate the vehicle's location using global positioning system(GPS) or dead reckoning(DR) system. However, the estimated location has undesirable errors because of various noise sources such as unpredictable GPS noises. As a result, the measured position is not lying on the road, although the vehicle is known to be restricted on the road network. The purpose of map matching is to locate the vehicle's position on the road network where the vehicle is most likely to be positioned. In this paper, we analyze some general map matching algorithms first. Then, we propose a map matching method using compensation vectors to improve the performance of map matching. The proposed method calculates a compensation vector from the discrepancy between a measured position and an estimated position. The compensation vector and a newly measured position are to be used to determine the next estimation. To show the performance improvement of the map matching using compensation vectors, the real time map matching experiments are performed. The real road experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed map matching.
This paper investigates how Mind map, Concept map, and Vee diagram facilitates learning mathematics. It also analyzes characteristics, structure, how to make a mall, the possible ways of use and its implications in detail for each map and provides how they can be used for learning mathematics. Mind map is one of most effective tools to make man's thinking power stronger and use the given time as the new way of learning mathematics. Concept map provides the various concepts learned by students more visually with a structured format. As a last, Vee diagram began with the question to explore for the given situation as the tool which is effective in doing exploring and making knowledge acquired vivid in students mind.

Magnetic abrasive polishing is one of the most promising finishing methods applicable to complex surfaces. Nevertheless this process has a low efficiency when applied to very hardened materials. For this reason, EP-MAP hybrid process was developed. EP-MAP process is expected to machine complex and hardened materials. In this research, deburring process using EP-MAP hybrid process was proposed. EP-MAP deburring process is applied to micro channel, thereby it can obtain both deburring process and polishing process. EP-MAP deburring process on the micro channel was performed. Through design of experiment method, error of height in this process according to process parameter is analyzed. When the level 1 parameter A(magnetic flux density) and level 2 parameter B(electric potential), C(working gap) and level 3 parameter D(feed rate) are applied in the deburring process using EP-MAP hybrid process, it provides optimum result of EP-MAP hybrid deburring process.
In this paper, a new saliency map generation method is discussed which extracts objects effectively using extracted Salient Region. Feature map is constructed first using four features of edge, hue of HSV color model, focus and entropy and then conspicuity map is generated from Center Surround Differences using the feature map. Final saliency map is constructed by the combination of conspicuity maps. Saliency map generated using this procedure is compared to the conventional technique and confirmed that new technique has better results.
Geological map and data are needed for land use planning, resources development, geological hazard prevention, environment protection and education, Since the nationwide geological database in Korea has not been constructed yet, there are many problems in using the geological map and data. There are many problems such a stratigraphy unestablishment, map conservation and edge matching in geological paper map. Therefore it is difficult to construct the geological map database, but the geological map database must be constructed as soon as possible as one of national thematic map. In this study, geological maps of pilot area such as Ansung geological map on a scale of 1:50,000, Busan on a scale of 1:250,000, Namchang on a scale of 1:25,000 and the whole Korean peninsula on a scale of 1:1,000,000 were designed and constructed to database using Geographic Information System(GIS). In addition the geological map management program was developed by GIS program. The digital geological maps were produced using the constructed geological database. The database could be of access through Internet World Wide Web(WWW) environment and be distributed in Compact Disk(CD).

This study aimed to elucidate anti-inflammatory activities from extracts of Asterina pectinifera on nitric oxide (NO) production, TNF-${\alpha}$ and IL-6 release in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated murine macrophage cell, RAW264.7. We prepared the methanolic extracts (60-MAP, 70-MAP, 80-MAP and 90-MAP), aqueous extract (W-AP) and functional bioactive compound fraction (He-AP and EA-AP) from Asterina pectinifera according to extract method. The 60-MAP, 70-MAP, 80-MAP, 90-MAP and W-AP were significantly suppressed LPS-induced production NO, TNF-${\alpha}$ and IL-6 secretion in a concentration-dependent manner (P < 0.05). Especially, 80-MAP by extracted 80% methanol had the strongest activity in reduction of inflammatory mediators among these extracts. Indeed, to identify active fraction, which contained potential bioactive compounds, from 80-MAP of Asterina pectinifera, we tested anti-inflammatory activity of the He-AP or the EA-AP. The He-AP was next extracted from 80-MAP and the EA-AP were extracted from the other methanol layer except the He-AP. The EA-AP demonstrated a strong anti-inflammatory effect through its ability to reduce NO production and it also inhibited the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNF-${\alpha}$ at low concentration. These results suggested that the methanolic extract from Asterina pectinifera had the potential inhibitory effects on the production of these inflammatory mediators.

To create a wind resource map, we need a contour map, a roughness map and wind data. We need a land cover map for the roughness map of these data. A land cover map represents the area showing similar characteristics after color indexing based on the scientific method. The features of land cover is classified by Remote sensing technique. In this study, we verified the application of the NDVI technique is reasonable after we created the wind resource map using roughness maps by unsupervised classification and NDVI technique. As a result, the wind resource map using the NDVI technique showed a 60% accordance rate and difference in class less than one. From the results, The NDVI technique is found alternative to create roughness maps by the unsupervised classification.
