  • Electric Power Steering (EPS) mechanism has become widely equipped in passenger vehicle due to the environmental consciousness and higher fuel efficiency. This paper describes the development of co-simulation technique and simulation integration technique of EPS control system with dynamic vehicle model. A full vehicle model interacted with EPS control algorithm is concurrently simulated on a single bump road condition. Dynamic responses of vehicle chassis and steering system resulting from road surface impact are evaluated and compared with proving ground experimental data. The comparisons will show reasonable agreement on tie-rod load. rack displacement, handle-wheel torque and tire center acceleration. This developed simulation capability can be used for EPS performance evaluation and calibration as well as for vehicle handling performance integration and synthesis.

전기자동차 충전행태분석 (Charging Behavior Analysis of Electric Vehicle)

  • 친환경 교통수단으로 주목받고 있는 전기자동차는 우리나라에서도 2011년부터 지속적으로 보급대수가 증가하고 있다. 전기자동차 보급에 따라 충전 인프라 확대를 위하여 본 논문에서는 전기자동차 보급률이 높고 충전인프라가 비교적 잘 구축되어 있는 제주도 사례를 바탕으로 충전소 이용행태를 분석하여 기존 충전소의 효율적 운영방안과 추가적인 충전시설 설치 시 고려할 요소에 대하여 분석하고자 하였다. 전기자동차 충전소가 있는 읍면동별 급속충전기와 완속충전기 이용특성과 시설의 유형에 따라 시간대별 이용특성을 분석하였다. 제주도에 설치된 충전기의 이용 빈도를 분석한 결과, 급속충전기와 완속충전기 이용 빈도 모두 특정지역에 편중된 이용률이 나타났다. 유형별 충전소 이용은 급속충전기와 완속충전기 모두 업무시설과 공영주차장에 설치된 충전기 이용률이 높았으나, 시간대별 이용률을 보면 급속충전기는 오후시간 전반에 걸쳐 이용률이 높은 반면, 완속충전기 이용은 오전시간에 집중되어 있었다. 이러한 이용특성을 반영하여 이용자들이 전기자동차 충전소를 효율적으로 이용할 수 있도록 이용률이 낮은 충전소를 안내하는 홍보방안과 충전기를 이용할 때에 주의사항 및 충전완료 알림서비스 등을 제공하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 또한, 아직 충전기가 설치되지 않은 지역을 충전기 설치대상지역으로 고려하고, 이에 더불어 충전기 이용률이 높은 지역과 시설에 추가 설치가 이루어져야 한다. 실제 전기자동차 충전행태 분석 결과를 활용하여 실질적인 서비스 향상이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Active safety vehicle devices are getting more attention recently. To prevent traffic accidents, the environment in front and even around the vehicle must be checked and monitored. In the present applications, mainly camera and radar based systems are used as sensing devices. Laser scanner, one of the sensing devices, has the advantage of obtaining accurate measurement of the distance and the geometric information about the objects in the field of view of the laser scanner. However, there is a problem that detecting object occluded by a foreground one is difficult. In this paper, criterions are proposed to manage this problem. Simulation is conducted by vehicle mounted the laser scanner and multiple-hypothesis algorithm tracks the candidate objects. We compare the running times as multi-hypothesis algorithm parameter varies.

전기자동차 충전소의 적정 용량 결정 (Determining the Proper Capacity of Electric Vehicle Charging Station)

  • The problem of determining the proper capacity of electric vehicle charging station is studied in the presented paper. Based on the expected arrival rate and the expected charging time, we calculate the proper capacity that guarantees electric vehicles get service better than a given lower bound which is termed the loss of charging probability. The problem is studied by using certain queueing models. We first formulate the problem as a queueless model of type M/M/n/n, known as the Erlang loss system. And then the M/M/n/K type queueing model is formulated to consider the parking space constraint. Results of the study may be used for designing the electric vehicle charging station.

전기자동차 구매의도에 대한 중국 소비자의 친환경적 행동: 규범활성화이론과 계획된 행동이론을 중심으로 (Environmentally Friendly Behavior of Chinese Consumers on Electric Vehicle Purchase Intention: Norm-activation Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • As a part of environmental pollution mitigation in China, the number of environmentally friendly vehicles in China is proliferating, attention to vehicles that use environmentally friendly energy continues to increase, and China's new energy vehicle market is also growing rapidly. Similar to existing research, the focus of the subsidy is to provide financial support for electric vehicle buyers and the expansion of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure. Under these circumstances, this study attempts to understand the influence of Chinese consumers' green responsibility and other psychological factors on electronic vehicle purchase intention based on norm activation theory and theory of planned behavior. PLS-SEM examined the proposed hypotheses with 369 valid Chinese consumers, and all were supported. Our findings contribute to the extension of the research scope of Chinese consumers' intention to purchase electric vehicles and provide practical information for domestic and foreign firms entering China, the world's largest electric vehicle market.

연료전지 차량의 전기적 절연 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Electric Insulation Characteristics in a Fuel Cell Vehicle)

  • Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) stack power output is needed to be approximately 100 kW to meet the requirements of automotive applications. In order to secure the electric safety for drivers, passengers and mechanics, it is very important to understand phenomena of an electric insulation in a fuel cell vehicle. In this study, we studied the electric insulation properties and the insulation resistance of stack, system and vehicle in the field of fuel cell was estimated at the applied voltage of 500 V, respectively. Also we discussed the insulation factors such as the conductivity of coolant, the element of vehicle design and the intrinsic resistance of the vehicle components.

전기자동차의 가구유형별 수요에 대한 고찰 (Demand Analysis of Electric Vehicle by Household Type)

  • 본 연구에서는 전기자동차 수요에 대해 가구의 유형 및 차량 보유별로 그룹을 분류하고 개인의 특성과 가구차량보유구조 및 구매의향이 있는 경우 등에 따른 차량 구매 선택요인을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위하여 시행한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 수요예측모형을 구축하고 탄력성을 분석 하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인특성인 연령은 증가할수록 전기자동차 구매의향이 높아졌으나 성별은 구매에 있어서 유의미함을 찾아보기 어려웠다. 주택유형 또한 아파트의 경우만 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 차량이 있는 가구의 경우 전기자동차 구입의 중요 요인으로는 연료비와 충전시간, 주행가능거리 등과 같은 실제 사용에 있어 편의성과 관련된 요인이 탄력성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 차량이 없는 가구의 경우에는 차량구매가격이 탄력성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 연구결과는 향후 전기자동차 수요예측과 보급활성화를 위한 기초적인 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

전기자동차 화재 대응을 위한 제도적 개선 방안 연구: 서울시 사례를 중심으로 (A Study of Institutional Improvements for Responding to Electric Vehicle Fires: Focusing on the Case of Seoul)

  • 연구목적과 방법: 전기차 화재에 대한 대응력을 향상시키기 위해 제도적 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울시를 중심으로 전기차 보급 및 화재 발생 현황, 관련 법 제도를 살펴보았다. 연구결과: 전기차 관련 상위법령 및 조례는 보급정책만 중심적으로 규정되어 있어 전기차 화재에 대해 실질적인 화재 대응 방안이 없는 상황이다. 각 자치단체별로 동일한 규정을 적용하기 위해서는 상위법령에서 소방 및 안전 시설에 대한 기준 정립과 제도 확립이 필요하다. 결론: 전기차 화재 특성을 고려한 소방 및 안전시설 설치 기준을 정하고 관련 제도의 개선을 통해 전기자동차 화재에 대한 시민들의 우려를 잠식시키는 것이 궁극적으로 전기차 보급률을 향상시키는 효과로 이어질 것이다.

융합된 다중 센서와 EKF 기반의 무인잠수정의 항법시스템 설계 (Navigation System of UUV Using Multi-Sensor Fusion-Based EKF)

  • This paper proposes a navigation system with a robust localization method for an underwater unmanned vehicle. For robust localization with IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), a DVL (Doppler Velocity Log), and depth sensors, the EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) has been utilized to fuse multiple nonlinear data. Note that the GPS (Global Positioning System), which can obtain the absolute coordinates of the vehicle, cannot be used in the water. Additionally, the DVL has been used for measuring the relative velocity of the underwater vehicle. The DVL sensor measures the velocity of an object by using Doppler effects, which cause sound frequency changes from the relative velocity between a sound source and an observer. When the vehicle is moving, the motion trajectory to a target position can be recorded by the sensors attached to the vehicle. The performance of the proposed navigation system has been verified through real experiments in which an underwater unmanned vehicle reached a target position by using an IMU as a primary sensor and a DVL as the secondary sensor.

고속전철 차량간 구성변화의 능동적 적응을 위한 통신규약에 관한 연구 (A study on adaptable configuration protocol for high speed electric railway vehicles)

  • Recently, The TCN(Train Communication Network} as the distributed control systems for electric vehicles, which is the international standard of the intra vehicle communication, actively recognizes variations and supports reconfiguration of the train network when a vehicle is separated or recombined. The technique of reconfiguration to take variety and interoperability of a vehicle constitution is used when the vehicle constitution is changed. At the time, each node making up vehicle network shares the information about the variation of vehicle constitutions and the state of nodes. In the hierarchical TCN structure, an exchange of data becomes available as a work to transmit information between components is performed at the node playing a role of gateway. This paper proposes a protocol to transmit the information of the train reconfiguration. The protocol gives an application to renew a list for transmitting information and to perform the transmission that can guarantee periodic and non-periodic data transmission between nodes when the network nodes changed by a variation of the network state are reconfigured. If use this protocol, can use functions that are offered in the electric railcar at the same time that composition of vehicles is completed without delay. And when driver of the electric railcar inspect before running of vehicles, can confirm state of vehicles visually through monitor in driver's room.
