Cosmetology Major The impact of college student satisfaction on the cosmetology profession (헤어미용 전공 대학생의 전공만족도가 미용전문직관에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the relationship between the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction and the professionals by analyzing the effect of the cosmetology major student's major satisfaction on the beauty professional hall. Research Results It was found that there is a correlation (p <0.001) between the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department and the beauty professionals (p <0.001), and the satisfaction of the department is "specialty" t = 4.625 (p =). .000),'Occupational recognition' t = 3.152 (p = .002), major value is'specialty' t = 2.330 (p = .021),'professional activity' t = 2.438 (p = .015), 'Occupation recognition' t = 4.843 (p = .000), university student activity adaptation is a subordinate factor of the cosmetology profession, "professional activity" t = 2.746 (p = .006), "occupation recognition" t = 4.303 ( Appearing as p = .000), it was found that the degree of satisfaction of college students in the hair beauty department has a significant effect on beauty professionals. For cosmetology college students, major satisfaction not only leads to satisfaction with the university and department, but also to self-satisfaction and cosmetology job confidence, allowing them to adapt to social life with a positive impact, and cosmetologists are hair With the values and attitude toward the beauty profession, you will be able to become a professional officer when you are a university student majoring in cosmetology. Through the research results, the formation of a positive professional hall for college students majoring in hair beauty and the satisfaction of the major will be enhanced, and the self-development of students, as well as professors and educational relations, will be established so that beauty professionals can be established through correct theory and practical education. Education and continued guidance on the professional ethics and values of the person is considered necessary.

  • This study is hair salon satisfaction and self-efficacy in major college students preparing course is to identify the factors that affect the action. The subjects of the study were 173 male and female college students attending the College of Hair and Beauty in G region from March 10 to 25, 2021, and 150 of them were finally SPSS.It used the WIN 22.0 program. First, it has been verified that the satisfaction of hair and beauty college students' majors directly affects career preparation behavior. Second, the hair salon for preparatory actions in the course of major college student satisfaction and self-efficacy turned out to be a very important influence. Third, action represents a direct impact on career preparation is college student's hair salon self-efficacy and research to do significant impact. Based on the results of this study, students with high satisfaction with their majors suggest that they are preparing for a systematic professional life for career preparation when they are self-efficacy in college.

  • This study is to investigate the factors in which self-leadership and self-efficacy influence learning outcomes for beauty college students. The subjects of the study were 115 male and female college students in the first and second grades attending beauty colleges in the D region from November 22nd to December 1st, 2021, of which 100 copies were finally SPSS.WIN 24.0 program was used. First, it was verified that the self-leadership of beauty students had a direct effect on learning outcomes. Second, it was investigated that self-leadership and self-efficacy, which influence the learning outcomes of beauty students, had a very important effect. Third, it was found that the self-efficacy of beauty college students had a significant influence on learning outcomes.

  • This study aims to investigate the moderating effect of appearance confidence in the relationship between the expected value of appearance management and beauty management behavior of college students. For data collection, 300 questionnaires were distributed among the students of a 4-year university in Gwangju, Republic of Korea from April 12 to 22, 2022; 273 copies were collected, and 259 copies were used as the final sample. SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the collected data, and the results were as follows. First, the expected value of appearance management had a positive (+) effect on beauty management behavior. Second, the expected value of appearance management had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on beauty management behavior. Taken together, the results of the study show that the higher the level of social internalization, play and sympathy values, and appearance confidence of the expected value of appearance management, the higher the college students' beauty management behavior. Taken together, the results of the study show that the higher the level of social internalization, play conformity value, and appearance confidence of the expected value of appearance management, the higher the college students' beauty management behavior. This was confirmed to act as a reinforcing mechanism.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore how the college students of the beauty department changed their perspective about jobs, career development, and self-reflection in the process of job shadowing. We selected 8 students who were enrolled in the beauty department of a college located in the capital area and conducted individual in-depth interviews with them. According to the result of the study, First, participants have learned attitude, knowledge, competence, and an important matter necessary to achieve a excellent performance in the beauty job. In particular, they figured out that a core competency for a successful beauty job is to share a social relationship with the clients. Second, they recognized that doing a beauty job is very tough and then set a criteria to make a decision of their future job. Doing a Job shadowing made them being change in the area of job and their job perspective. Finally, they looked themselves back how they are satisfying with developing their career at the beauty department. This study is significantly meaningful in that it contextually showed how the college students are developing their job careers through an indirect job experience from a constructive point of view. Moreover, this study is different from the existing studies focusing on student's direct work experiences such as the existing internship programs, which focused on exploring the student's indirect work experience and the process of their vicarious learning. The result of the current study has a practical implication in terms of providing a basic perspective for career education for students of colleges.

An Analysis of Fashion Behavior of Male College Students in Dalian, China (중국 대련 남자대학생의 패션행동분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factor of fashion behavior and to identify fashion behavior differences according to demorgraphic/physical characteristics and parents' background of male college student in Dalian, China. The data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire from 250 male college students living in Dalian, China in June 2007. Data analysis method were used to Crombach's a, reliabilty, factor analysis, frequency analysis, ANOVA, and Sheffe's test for the post hoctest. The results of this study were as follows: Fashion behavior factors were analyzed into 6 factors such as fashion satisfaction oriented, high price oriented, fashion leader oriented, practical fashion oriented, others defendence oriented. There were significant difference in demographic variables such as age, major and physical variables such as height, weight, clothing size and parents' background such as education, job, and income.

  • Recently, many graduate schools related to Cosmetic & Beauty have established, and it is very advisable. However, the following the curriculum or the teaching staff has to be made up well for making a substantial graduate school, and it will contribute largely toward to Cosmetic & Beauty industry. If it is used like a tool for only increasing the quorum of student, it is not a help to Cosmetic & Beauty industry even though many Cosmetic & Beauty courses in the graduate schools are established. The government and the industrial circles have to give thought and support to develop a university. Then special workers who train in this part will be a help to grow Cosmetic & Beauty industry. Hereafter, Cosmetic & Beauty industry is a big field of industry after medical supplies in the fine chemistry industry when we take the scale of industry and the national competitiveness into consideration. And Cosmetic & Beauty industry is a competitive field of industry with a small investment contrary to medical supplies. However, there are few educational institutions for special workers through the college of pharmacy in Cosmetic & Beauty contrary to medical supplies. Also, there is no position for managing the growth of Cosmetic & Beauty industry in the government agencies. At this point of time, it is very desirable situation that the graduate school related to Cosmetic & Beauty is established lately, and we hope that it is an opportunity for the growth of Cosmetic & Beauty industry through the interests of the university, the government, the industrial circles, and so on.

Analysis of the Composition Concept of Education Service Quality of Beauty Major University (뷰티전공 대학의 교육서비스품질 구성개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of composition of educational service quality through two integrated research methods of open questionnaires and focus group interviews for college students majoring in beauty. Participants in the study majored in beauty at 2-year and 4-year universities nationwide. The enrolled students were set as a population, and 250 people were adopted as a random sampling method and used for the survey. The series of results are as follows. First, as a result of inductive content analysis of open questionnaires, the educational service quality of beauty majors was derived into five areas: major knowledge, educational quality, professor-student intimacy, student needs reflection, usability, curriculum composition, environmental efficiency, educational equipment, and reputation. Second, as a result of the focus group interview, inductive content analysis was more reasonably pointed out and derived in depth. As a result of this study, it is believed that it can be used as basic data for the development of measurement tools for educational service quality of beauty majors.

Reliability and Validity of the Korean Version of Broad Conceptualization of Beauty Scale (한글판 미의 광범위한 개념 척도(K-BCBS)의 신뢰도 및 타당도)

  • BCBS (Broad Conceptualization of Beauty Scale) is a measurement tool designed to evaluate the standards of an individual's inner beauty. In this study, reliability and feasibility were verified for 100 female college students using the final Korean version BCBS 9 questions that were formed through the adaptation process. As a result of checking the internal consistency to verify the reliability of Korean version BCBS, it showed high reliability with Cronbach's 𝜶 0.878, subjective beauty 0.874, physical beauty 0.808 and psychological beauty 0.880. As a result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis to verify feasibility of Korean version BCBS, feasibility was secured by showing significant results in all items. Therefore, through this study, the Korean version BCBS was proved to be a useful measurement tool that comprehensively evaluates the concept of women's broad scale beauty, and using this as basic data, it is believed that it can be used for professional development and research on internalized beauty for female college students.

A Study on the Relationship between University Students' Beauty YouTube Viewing Satisfaction and K-Beauty (대학생의 뷰티 유튜브 시청만족도와 K-뷰티의 관계성 연구)

  • This thesis is to investigate the relationship between college students' beauty YouTube viewing satisfaction and the development impact of K-beauty. University students' beauty YouTube viewing satisfaction showed more than average satisfaction in terms of reviews, makeup techniques, makeup trends, agency empathy, and entertainment motives. In order to study the relationship between beauty YouTube viewing satisfaction and K-beauty, as a result of factor analysis of the K-beauty questionnaire, it was divided into factors affecting development and development of other industries. University students' beauty YouTube viewing satisfaction was found to have a positive (+) effect on the factors affecting K-beauty development, and no relationship with other K-beauty industries. Based on these research results, we expect to use reference materials for the development of K-beauty development plans using media contents along with the development of beauty YouTube contents, and we plan to continue a more extensive research.
