Based on an expanded mixed finite element method, we consider the semidiscrete approximations of the solution u of the quasilinear pseudo-parabolic equation defined on ${\Omega}{\subset}R^d$, $1{\leq}d{\leq}3$. We construct the semidiscrete approximations of ${\nabla}u$ and $a(u){\nabla}u+b(u){\nabla}u_t$ as well as u and prove the existence of the semidiscrete approximations. And also we prove the optimal convergence of ${\nabla}u$ and $a(u){\nabla}u+b(u){\nabla}u_t$ as well as u in $L^2$ normed space.

본 논문은 u-City 서비스의 활성화를 위하여 모바일 서비스와 u-City 서비스의 연관 관계를 연구하였다. u-City에서는 u-IT기술을 기반으로 도시의 효율적인 관리 및 도시민의 편의를 위한 많은 서비스를 제공하고 있지만 대부분의 서비스가 도시의 운용이나 관리부분에 중점을 두고 있어 서비스가 활성화 되지 못하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 이에 우리는 u-City의 서비스를 일반 도시민이 실생활에서 언제 어디서나 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 모바일 라이프 서비스라는 개념을 제시하였다. 또한 이에 대한 유용성과 사용의사를 수도권 거주민을 대상으로 조사하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 자료를 통하여 본 논문은 모바일 라이프 서비스가 u-City 서비스를 활성화할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

A u-city is a vision of a city with computers and sensors built in to its infrastructure, and data sharing among the various information systems. A u-City provides several u-City services to the u-City clients. The u-City services for local governments contain two types of functions: common function and specified function. It is needed a study on generation of specified service models of local governments. The proposed service model divides functions of the city into two service areas: common support service and specified support service. And we suggest the way to generate the u-services of each local government in this paper.

Let u be a function on a locally finite graph G = (V, E) and Ω be a bounded subset of V. Let 𝜀 > 0, p > 2 and 0 ≤ λ < λ₁(Ω) be constants, where λ₁(Ω) is the first eigenvalue of the discrete Laplacian, and h : V → ℝ be a function satisfying h ≥ 0 and $h{\not\equiv}0$. We consider a perturbed Yamabe equation, say $$\{\begin{array}{lll}-{\Delta}u-{\lambda}u={\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u+{\varepsilon}h,&&\text{ in }{\Omega},\\u=0,&&\text{ on }{\partial}{\Omega},\end{array}$$ where Ω and ∂Ω denote the interior and the boundary of Ω, respectively. Using variational methods, we prove that there exists some positive constant 𝜀₀ > 0 such that for all 𝜀 ∈ (0, 𝜀₀), the above equation has two distinct solutions. Moreover, we consider a more general nonlinear equation $$\{\begin{array}{lll}-{\Delta}u=f(u)+{\varepsilon}h,&&\text{ in }{\Omega},\\u=0,&&\text{ on }{\partial}{\Omega},\end{array}$$ and prove similar result for certain nonlinear term f(u).

u-GIS 국토정보 제공 기술은 차세대 웹 기반의 국토정보 플랫폼 기술을 통해서 u-GIS 데이터의 활용을 극대화하고 유비쿼터스 환경에서 사용자에게 맞춤형 국토정보를 제공하기 위한 기술이다. 최근 플랫폼으로서의 웹을 강조하는 'Web 2.0' 환경이 대두됨에 따라서 공간정보 영역에서는 Where 2.0이라는 패러다임이 확산되고 있으며, 그 중심에서 Geo-spatial Web 기술이 발전하고 있다. 또한 사용자 참여 기반의 개방형 플랫폼으로 변화되고 있으며, 지리공간정보의 수요자도 공공기관에서 일반 개인 중심으로 변화되고 있다. 이러한 기술적 변화 속에서 기존의 GIS 기술분야는 기술적으로 새로운 도전에 직면해 있으며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 기술적 수요와 패러다임에 대한 기술적 동향을 분석하고, 이를 극복하기 위한 핵심적 요소기술로 u-GIS 국토정보 플랫폼 기술, u-GIS 국토정보 시각화 기술, u-GIS 국토정보 GeoDRM(Geo-spatial Digital Right Management) 및 통합 기술, u-GIS 국토정보 모바일 응용 기술을 제시한다.

유비쿼터스 컨버전스 산업의 가능성을 확인하기 위한 시험대로서 u-City에 대한 관심이 지속적으로 커져가고 있는 시점에서, u-City의 대표적인 서비스 및 응용 분야로서 u-방재에 대한 연구도 서서히 확대되어가고 있다. u-City의 다른 영역과 마찬가지로 u-방재 서비스의 원활한 제공을 위해서는 기존에 분산되어 운영되고 있는 다양한 u-City 서비스 및 하부 인프라가 종합적으로 연계될 수 있는 방법이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 분산자원관리 분야에서 널리 활용되고 있는 CIM/WBEM 표준과 대용량 모니터링 데이터의 취득 및 활용에 적절한 모델로 인정되고 있는 GMA를 결합하여 u-방재 서비스 및 모니터링 아키텍처의 설계에 적용하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 향후 u-City 서비스 인프라의 표준화 및 확장성에 대한 요구가 더욱 커져갈 것으로 예상된다는 점에서, 본 연구에서 제시하는 통합 인프라 모델은 기존에 구축되어 있는 분산자원들과 지속적으로 추가될 것으로 예상되는 신규 서비스들의 효과적인 통합 모델로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In recent year, the u-City construction projects which integrate IT technology into urban infrastructures are being pushed forward by many local governments. These projects contain various purposes in an aspect of regional economy : to reinforce a competitiveness of region by increasing efficiency of urban managements and to revitalize regional economy by stimulating the regional high-tech industries that related to u-City construction. In this context, regional economic impact assessment of u-City construction projects is particularly important because, it give us information about effectiveness of u-City construction policy as a stimulus of regional high-tech industries and the policy feasibility of u-City construction projects that can be a base of public projects. However, it is challenging to assess the impact of u-City projects on regional economy properly due to a lack of understanding about industrial classification, and specific industrial inputs related to u-City construction. In this study, we suggest u-City industrial classifications, and specific-industrial inputs induced by u-City construction projects based on associated legislations, business report for a u-City construction, and results from previous studies. Using these classification and industrial input, we also investigate the regional economic impacts of a u-City construction project in Wha-sung and Dong-tan cities employing Input-output analysis. The empirical results suggests that u-City industries have relatively high in production inducement, and value added inducement compared to input of other industrial sectors. These results indicate that regional economic impact of a Wha-sung and Dong-tan u-City construction project are relatively high, but economic impacts of u-City construction projects vary according to the regional industrial structure, and the specific expense accounts of u-City construction projects.

Using variational methods, we show the existence of a unique weak solution of the following singular biharmonic problems of Kirchhoff type involving critical Sobolev exponent: $$(\mathcal{P}_{\lambda})\;\{\begin{array}{lll}{\Delta}^2u-(a{\int}_{\Omega}{\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^2dx+b){\Delta}u+cu=f(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{-{\gamma}}-{\lambda}{\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u&&\text{ in }{\Omega},\\{\Delta}u=u=0&&\text{ on }{\partial}{\Omega},\end{array}$$ where Ω is a smooth bounded domain of ℝⁿ (n ≥ 5), ∆² is the biharmonic operator, and ∇u denotes the spatial gradient of u and 0 < γ < 1, λ > 0, 0 < p ≤ 2^# and a, b, c are three positive constants with a + b > 0 and f belongs to a given Lebesgue space.

한국에서 유비쿼터스 도시(U-City)는 더 이상 소설의 배경이 되는 환상의 나라가 아니라 실제 진행되고 있는 현상이다. 그 동안의 많은 연구는 U-City가 시민에게 가져다 줄 수준 높은 삶과 긍정적인 효과 등 장밋빛 미래에 대한 연구에 치중해 왔었다. 그러나, U-City의 밝은 미래를 위해서는 현재까지 예측하지 못했던 U-City의 운영비에 대한 문제를 심각하게 고려해야 한다. 선순환 메카니즘이 없는 U-City는 가까운 미래에 심각한 운영상의 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 이와 같은 배경하에 본 연구는 도시의 새로운 패러다임으로 등장하고 있는 U-City가 선순환 메카니즘에 의해 스스로 운영비를 조달하여 지속가능한 도시로 한 단계 더 발전하기 위한 해법을 논의한다. 이러한 해법은 행태적인 측면, 제도적인 측면, 비즈니스 모델의 제시, 핵심 기술의 개발 측면, 자가망의 구축 등 몇 가지 측면에서 검토되었다. 이러한 초기의 연구를 기초로 하여 향후 선순환 U-City를 구축하기 위한 추가적인 연구는 U-City에 거주하는 시민들에게 보다 나은 삶을 유지하게 하여 U-City의 미래를 더욱 밝게 할 것이다.
