This paper gives a basic data of the breakdown characteristics of Dry-Air and air based on their dew point and humidity variations in experimental GIS model by applying AC voltage. The breakdown voltage of Dry-Air was increased as gap length had been increased. The characteristics of Dry-air which had low dew point were higher. In the case of air, the breakdown voltage curves were like Dry-Air' s. But the curves were slightly folded up and down because of impurities.

Recently, ozone is utilized in various fields and its needs are expanding. In this paper, glass and ceramic plate tyre ozonizer have been fabricated to investigate discharge parameter(input power, flow rate of supplied gas, electrode form, etc.) effect to discharge. And the conditions of discharge parameter have been investigated for optimum ozone generation. Ozone concentration is continuously increased with increasing input power for same discharge space, and ozone yield is also increased until maximum point after that it is saturated. Ozone concentration is inversely proportional to flow rate of supplied gas but ozone generation and ozone vield characteristics are improved.

This experimental research evaluated the length of crack extension with the measured compliances as the mutual comparison factors instead of the method proposed in ASTM E561-80. And this research measured the R-curves with the application to the concept of the strain energy release rate that was formulated from the inelastic energy absorbed during the crack growth. With the interpretation of R-curves, this research obtained the starting point of the unstable crack growth, and compared the values of critical fracture toughness with each other, and then examined the effects of variations of the maximum size of coarse aggregate and the thickness of specimen on the values of the critical fracture toughness.

모바일 RFID 는 휴대폰에 UHF RFID 리더를 내장함으로써 현재 개념 단계인 유비쿼터스 기술을 실생활에 밀접한 현재 기술로 만들 수 있는 전세계적으로 최초로 시도되고 있는 주요 기술이다. 모바일 RFID 테스트베드는 태그테스트베드와 모바일 RFID 리더 테스트베드, 모바일 RFID 미들웨어 테스트베드, RFID 코드 해석(리졸루션)을 위한 ODS 서버 테스트베드 등으로 구성된다. 모바일 RFID 테스트베드에서는 위의 시스템들이 CDMA 무선인터넷망과 유선인터넷망을 통하여 연결되고 정의된 프로토콜에 따라 통신이 이루어지도록 하여 시스템 요소 기술의 검증 및 상호 연계 테스트를 지원함으로써, 모바일 RFID 기술 및 서비스의 상용화 개발을 지원한다.

본 논문은 패러데이 효과(Faraday Effect)에 의한 초고압 전력설비에서의 광CT 특성에 대한 기초 연구를 기술하였다. 광원은 LD(Laser Diode : 830[nm])를 사용하고, 수신부는 PIN-Photodiode론 사용하였다. 광의 전송로는 파이버 내에서 편광상태론 유지할 수 있는 싱글모드 광파이버를 사용하였고, 광파이버의 양끝은 편광자와 검광자를 두어 빛의 광학적인 편파면을 이용한 전류측정이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다. 측정 결과에서는 기존 문헌상의 결과와 동일한 형태의 출력을 얻을 수 있었고 나아가서는 초고압전력설비인 가스절연개폐장치 (GIS: Gas Insulated Switchgear)에 대한 적용도 가능하게 했다.

본 연구에서는 대기압 교류방전시 비열플라즈마를 이용하였을 때 NO입자의 분광스펙트럼과 전극재질과 전극두께에 따른 신호강도를 측정하였다. 분광기를 이용하여 측정된 NO입자의 분광스펙트럼 분포를 바탕으로 측정된 파장대역 중에서 비교적 신호강도가 큰 파장대역인 226[nm], 236[nm], 247[nm], 259[nm]에서 전극의 재질을 스테인레스, 구리, 알루미늄으로 변화시켰을 때의 신호강도와 전극의 두께를 4[mm], 5[mm], 6[mm]로 변화시켰을 때의 신호강도를 분광기(Monochromator)를 이용하여 측정하였다. 또한, 측정대상 중 전극재질은 구리일때가 가장 신호강도가 높음을 확인할 수 있었으며 전극두께는 갭 간격이 작을수록 신호강도가 강한 것을 확인함으로써 NO입자의 방전 메카니즘을 보다 명확하게 규명하고 또한 방전 리액터 제작에도 좋은 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

This paper represents the characteristic analysis for the etching in $SF_6$ plasma and the plasma itself, based on the specific knowledges on the discharge mechanism of $SF_6$ plasma which is widely used for the applications of dry etching, using Radio Frequency Inductively Coupled Plasma (RFICP) by measuring electron density, electron temperature then observing their relationship to find the effect of discharge mechanism of $SF_6$ plasma to the etching in contrast to the existing method of finding optimal discharge condition by heuristic.

The present study was undertaken to investigate effects of Perillae Folium juice on the respiration and blood pressure in cats. Also studied was the mechanism of depressor action of PFJ. The results obtained are as follows; 1) Following administration of 0.2 ml/kg, 0.4 ml/kg and 0.6 ml/kg PFJ into cats the maximum depressor responses observed were 48.5+3.6 mmHg, 56.8+4.3 mmHg and 71.1+2.9 mmHg respectively. 2) Depressor responses to PFJ were blocked makedly by atropine and partially by propranolol. Therefore it is strongly suggested that depressor action of PFJ results mainly from cholinergic effect and partly from activity of ${\beta}-receptor$. 3) After administration of PFJ into cats tachypnea preceded by a short period of apnea was observed invariably.

To investigate the effect of metal back-reflective layers (MBLs) on the performance of GaAs solar cells, we fabricated GaAs solar cells on Al and Ag metal layers using the transfer printing technique. We also investigated the effect of MBL texturing on the performance of transfer printed GaAs solar cells. Transfer printed solar cells with MBLs exhibited improved photovoltaic performance compared to solar cells without MBLs due to light trapping. We demonstrated GaAs solar cells with MBLs on a flexible substrate and performed systematic bending tests. All the measured characteristics of solar cells showed little change in performance.

The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of nasalance in speakers with spastic cerebral palsy (CP) according to the types of sentence used for nasalance test. Twenty-eight speakers with spastic CP participated in this study. The experiment was conducted by analyzing nasalance of prolonged vowel utterance using the Sea sentence, the Zoo sentence, and the Mother sentence. The three sentences differ in the ratio of nasal consonants. The results show significant differences among the types of sentence for nasalance test.
