Crystals of salicylaldehyde-4-morpholinothiosemicarbazone, $C_{12}H_{15}O_2N_3S$, are orthorhombic with space group Pna21. Unit-cell dimensions are a = 11.85(5), b = 15.45(5) c = 7.18(3)${\AA}$ with z = 4. Three-dimensional intensity data were collected from the multiple-film equi-inclination Weissenberg photographs taken with $CuK{\alpha}$ radiation. The intensities were estimated visually. The structure was solved by Patterson and Fourier methods and refined by the block-diagonal least-squares methods until the final R value becomes 0.11 for the 1064 observed independent reflections. The morpholine ring has a chair form. The rest atoms of salicylaldehyde-4-morpholinothiosemicarbazone molecule excluding morpholine ring and sulfur atom approximately lie on a plane. The hydroxyl group of the salicylaldehyde and the nitrogen atom of the thiosemicarbazone form an intramolecular hydrogen bond, $O-H{\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}N$, of 2.67${\AA}$. The short intermolecular distances all appear to be normal van der Waals contacts.
Cholesteryl pentyl carbonate $(C_{33}H_{56}O_3)$ is monoclinic, space group P21, with a = 12.484(3), b = 9.043(3), c = 14.053(3)$\AA$, ${\beta} = 94.12(2)^{\circ}$ and z = 2. The intensity data were measured for the 2969 reflections within sin $\theta/\lambda = 0.52 {\AA}^{-1}$, using an automatic four--circle diffractometer and graphite monochromated Mo-K$\alpha$ radiation. The atomic coordinates from cholesteryl octanoate were used in an initial trial structure and the structure was refined by full-matrix least squares methods. The final R-factor was 0.12 for 1164 observed reflections. The pentyl group has shortened bond lengths due to the high thermal vibrations in this region. Adjacent molecules are related by $2_1$ screw axis so that they are arranged in an antiparallel array, corresponding to the Monolayer Type II packing mode. There are close packings of cholesteryl groups within the monolayers. This packing type is similar to those of cholesteryl hexanoate, octanoate, hexyl carbonate and oleate.

This paper deals with the computational work to characterize the formation and pinching of a plasma in an X-pinch configuration. A resistive magnetohydrodynamic model of a single fluid and two temperature is adopted assuming a hollow conical structure in the (r,z) domain. The model includes the thermodynamic parameter of tungsten from the corrected Thomas-Fermi EOS(equation of state), determining the average ionization charge, pressure, and internal energy. The transport coefficients, resistivity and thermal conductivity, are obtained by the corrected Lee & More model and a simple radiation loss rate by recombination process is considered in the simulation. The simulation demonstrated the formation of a core-corona plasma and intense compression process near the central region which agrees with the experimental observation in the X-pinch device at Seoul National University. In addition, it confirmed the increase in radiation loss rate with the density and temperature of the core plasma.
To clarify the geological structure of North Sobaegsan Massif in the Sangunmyeon area, Bonghwagun, Korea, where the Yecheon Shear Zone passes and the NE-SW and E-W trending structural lineaments are developed, the rock-structures of its main constituent rocks(Precambrian Won-nam Formation and Mesozoic Hornblende Granite) were examined. In this area, the geological structure was formed at least by four phases of deformation after the formation of gneissosity or schistosity of the Wonnam Formation: one deformation before D2 ductile shearing related to the for-mation of the Yecheon Shear Zone and two deformations after that. The NE-SW and E-W trending structural lineaments were formed by a giant open or gentle type of F4 fold, and their trends before D4 deformation are interpreted to be parallel to the orientation(ENE-WSW trend) of folded surface in the F4 hinge zone. The structural features of Dl-D3 deformations and their relative occurrence times are as follows. Dl deformation is formative period of the boudin structures and ENE-WSW trending isoclinal folds with sub-horizontal hinge lines and steeply inclined axial surfaces. D2 deformation is that of the mylonite foliation, stretching lineation and Z-shaped asymmetric folds related to top-to-the ENE dextral strike-slip shearing on the distinct foliations of Wonnam Formation(after intrusion of Mesozoic Hornblende Granite). D3 deformation is that of the ENE trending S-shaped asymmetric folds with sub-horizontal hinge lines and axial surfaces related to normal-slip shearing on the distinct foliations. It is expected that the result will be contributed to as valuable data for interpreting the tectonic evolution of the North Sobaegsan Massif and the Northeast Ogcheon Belt whose tectonic lineaments are changed from NE-SW to E-W trends at the Sindong-Bonghwa line.

Purpose: NEMA NU2-2001 was proposed as a new standard for performance evaluation of whole body PET scanners. in this study, system performance of Siemens CTI ECAT EXACT 47 PET scanner including spatial resolution, sensitivity, scatter fraction, and count rate performance in 2D and 3D mode was evaluated using this new standard method. Methods: ECAT EXACT 47 is a BGO crystal based PET scanner and covers an axial field of view (FOV) of 16.2 cm. Retractable septa allow 2D and 3D data acquisition. All the PET data were acquired according to the NEMA NU2-2001 protocols (coincidence window: 12 ns, energy window: $250{\sim}650$ keV). For the spatial resolution measurement, F-18 point source was placed at the center of the axial FOV((a) x=0, and y=1, (b)x=0, and y=10, (c)x=70, and y=0cm) and a position one fourth of the axial FOV from the center ((a) x=0, and y=1, (b)x=0, and y=10, (c)x=10, and y=0cm). In this case, x and y are transaxial horizontal and vertical, and z is the scanner's axial direction. Images were reconstructed using FBP with ramp filter without any post processing. To measure the system sensitivity, NEMA sensitivity phantom filled with F-18 solution and surrounded by $1{\sim}5$ aluminum sleeves were scanned at the center of transaxial FOV and 10 cm offset from the center. Attenuation free values of sensitivity wire estimated by extrapolating data to the zero wall thickness. NEMA scatter phantom with length of 70 cm was filled with F-18 or C-11solution (2D: 2,900 MBq, 3D: 407 MBq), and coincidence count rates wire measured for 7 half-lives to obtain noise equivalent count rate (MECR) and scatter fraction. We confirmed that dead time loss of the last flame were below 1%. Scatter fraction was estimated by averaging the true to background (staffer+random) ratios of last 3 frames in which the fractions of random rate art negligibly small. Results: Axial and transverse resolutions at 1cm offset from the center were 0.62 and 0.66 cm (FBP in 2D and 3D), and 0.67 and 0.69 cm (FBP in 2D and 3D). Axial, transverse radial, and transverse tangential resolutions at 10cm offset from the center were 0.72 and 0.68 cm (FBP in 2D and 3D), 0.63 and 0.66 cm (FBP in 2D and 3D), and 0.72 and 0.66 cm (FBP in 2D and 3D). Sensitivity values were 708.6 (2D), 2931.3 (3D) counts/sec/MBq at the center and 728.7 (2D, 3398.2 (3D) counts/sec/MBq at 10 cm offset from the center. Scatter fractions were 0.19 (2D) and 0.49 (3D). Peak true count rate and NECR were 64.0 kcps at 40.1 kBq/mL and 49.6 kcps at 40.1 kBq/mL in 2D and 53.7 kcps at 4.76 kBq/mL and 26.4 kcps at 4.47 kBq/mL in 3D. Conclusion: Information about the performance of CTI ECAT EXACT 47 PET scanner reported in this study will be useful for the quantitative analysis of data and determination of optimal image acquisition protocols using this widely used scanner for clinical and research purposes.

Purpose: In modern radiotherapy technology, several methods of image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) are used to deliver accurate doses to tumor target locations and normal organs, including CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) and other devices, ExacTrac System, other than CBCT equipped with linear accelerators. In previous studies comparing the two systems, positional errors were analysed rearwards using Offline-view or evaluated only with a Yaw rotation with the X, Y, and Z axes. In this study, when using CBCT and ExacTrac to perform 6 Degree of the Freedom(DoF) Online IGRT in a treatment center with two equipment, the difference between the set-up calibration values seen in each system, the time taken for patient set-up, and the radiation usefulness of the imaging device is evaluated. Materials and Methods: In order to evaluate the difference between mobile calibrations and exposure radiation dose, the glass dosimetry and Rando Phantom were used for 11 cancer patients with head circumference from March to October 2017 in order to assess the difference between mobile calibrations and the time taken from Set-up to shortly before IGRT. CBCT and ExacTrac System were used for IGRT of all patients. An average of 10 CBCT and ExacTrac images were obtained per patient during the total treatment period, and the difference in 6D Online Automation values between the two systems was calculated within the ROI setting. In this case, the area of interest designation in the image obtained from CBCT was fixed to the same anatomical structure as the image obtained through ExacTrac. The difference in positional values for the six axes (SI, AP, LR; Rotation group: Pitch, Roll, Rtn) between the two systems, the total time taken from patient set-up to just before IGRT, and exposure dose were measured and compared respectively with the RandoPhantom. Results: the set-up error in the phantom and patient was less than 1mm in the translation group and less than 1.5° in the rotation group, and the RMS values of all axes except the Rtn value were less than 1mm and 1°. The time taken to correct the set-up error in each system was an average of 256±47.6sec for IGRT using CBCT and 84±3.5sec for ExacTrac, respectively. Radiation exposure dose by IGRT per treatment was measured at 37 times higher than ExacTrac in CBCT and ExacTrac at 2.468mGy and 0.066mGy at Oral Mucosa among the 7 measurement locations in the head and neck area. Conclusion: Through 6D online automatic positioning between the CBCT and ExacTrac systems, the set-up error was found to be less than 1mm, 1.02°, including the patient's movement (random error), as well as the systematic error of the two systems. This error range is considered to be reasonable when considering that the PTV Margin is 3mm during the head and neck IMRT treatment in the present study. However, considering the changes in target and risk organs due to changes in patient weight during the treatment period, it is considered to be appropriately used in combination with CBCT.
The crystal and molecular structure of acetone 4-benzylthiosemicarbazone, $C_{11}H_{15}N_3S$, has been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The crystals are monoclinic, space group $P2_1/c$ with unit cell dimensions, a = 10.249(7), b = 11.403(9), c = 10.149(7)TEX>${\AA}$, ${\beta}$ = 90.9$(1)^0$ and z = 4. The intensities were collected on an automatic four-circle diffractometer with graphite-monochromated Mo-$K_{\alpha}$ radiation. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full matrix least-squares methods. The final R was 0.045 for 1554 observed reflections. S-C(8)-N(2)-N(3)-C(9)-C(10) atoms make a zigzag planar chain. There are no unusual bond lengths and angles. There are two independent hydrogen bonds in the crystal structure. One is N-H${\cdots}$S intermolecular hydrogen bond with the length of 3.555${\AA}$ and makes dimer-like units. The other is N-H${\cdots}$N intramolecular hydrogen bond with the length of 2.568${\AA}$. The structure was compared with those of other thiosemicarbazone derivatives.

A 2D/3D complex optical system and its vision inspection algerian is proposed and implemented as a single probe system for high speed, precise vision inspection of the solder pastes. One pass un length labeling algorithm is proposed instead of the conventional two pass labeling algorithm for fast extraction of the 2D shape of the solder paste image from the recent line-scan camera as well as the conventional area-scan camera, and the optical probe path generation is also proposed for the efficient 2D/3D inspection. The Moire interferometry-based phase shift algerian and its optical system implementation is introduced, instead of the conventional laser slit-beam method, for the high precision 3D vision inspection. All of the time-critical algorithms are MMX SIMD parallel-coded for further speedup. The proposed system is implemented for simultaneous 2D/3D inspection of 10mm${\times}$10mm FOV with resolutions of 10 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for both x, y axis and 1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for z axis. Experiments conducted on several nBs show that the 2D/3D inspection of an FOV, excluding an image capturing, results in high speed of about 0.011sec/0.01sec, respectively, after image capturing, with $\pm$1${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ height accuracy.
The purpose of this study is to measure the 3 dimensional dose distribution of Gamma knife $Perfection^{TM}$, make a comparative analysis of the result and establish the measurement method for the procedures using EBT3 film. The dose distributions of the Gamma knife $Perfection^{TM}$ installed in two hospitals were evaluated in accuracy and precision. For accuracy, the difference between the mechanical center axis and the dose center axis was assessed on a 4 mm collimator. The allowed difference in accuracy is within 0.3 mm and it was measured as 0.098 mm, 0.195 mm for A hospital and 0.229 mm, and 0.223 mm for B hospital. For precision the difference between the FWHM(Full Width at Half Maximum) of Gamma Plan and measurement in the 4, 8, and 16 mm collimators was calculated. The allowed difference in precision is less than ${\pm}1mm$. The value of the hospital A was -0.283 ~ 0.583 mm, and the hospital B was -0.857 ~ 0.810 mm. When analyzing the dose distributions using the image-j program, it is necessary to establish a clearer reference point of the measurement point, and it is considered that the comparison of the dose distribution should be performed in actual treatment irradiation dose with a high dose usable film.
