For the purpose, this study surveyed perception on Youtube on national certification education, characteristics of the programs, selection standards, continuance and recommendation intention and supplementations. The results are: The perception on Youtube was very positive(75.5%); Among characteristics, the mean value of informativeness was 3.54, that of play speed control as an advantage was 4.07 and that of feedback limit as a disadvantage was 3.64. In respect to selection standards, 44.5% of the subjects selected a program based on professionalism; 82.0% had continuance intention and 82.6% had recommendation intention. As for the needs of supplementation, the mean value of sanitation education was 4.20, that of updated regulations was 4.13 and that of feedback was 4.0. Therefore, it is suggested that if an interactive education system is supplemented in exact information and feedback, Youtube makeup certification programs will be further facilitated as useful education materials for makeup development.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether character education program using Youtube PSAs affect psychological and social maturity of pre-service teachers. For data collections, questionnaires and semi-structured interview are used by 23 sophomores majoring in teacher education. The results are as follows. First, the participants showed highly significant improvement on each of two maturities as well as entire psychological and social maturity. Second, the score of factors of social maturity was lower than that of those of psycho maturity. it could be estimated that college students live in nuclear family and individualization is valued more. Third, while pre-test scores of entire psycho-social maturity are not statistically significant, post-test scores of each of psycho-social maturity indicated statistical significance. In particular, unlike pre-test, there is a strong positive correlation in post-test due to mutually positive impact of two factors. Fourth, there was no statistically significant sex difference. Lastly, according to the result of interview, participants had strong views on the effects of personality education associated with use of Youtube PSAs on motivation and focus in class, caring for others, and leading to positive behaviors.

  • This study is a qualitative case study of secondary science teachers who are doing educational activities in YouTube. In particular, this study attempts to interpret this case based on Foucault's concept of 'Heterotopia', which means a space that allows for private freedom or deviance by reflecting various utopias without the norms and constraints from every day or real space. Five secondary science teachers who voluntarily opened a personal channel on the YouTube platform and actively uploaded their own videos related to science education participated in the study. In order to understand the experiences of five secondary science teachers, data were individually collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, and the collected data were analyzed using qualitative case study method. For valid interpretation of the study, we also referred to the video contents, teacher training materials, and teaching and learning materials produced by the participants. As a result of the study, seven themes were revealed: 'Desire for one's own unique educational activities,' 'Youtube as an extended classroom space,' 'Expanded network of relationships beyond the classroom barrier,' 'Satisfaction of desire for recognition and experience of identity as a YouTuber,' 'Tension between the educational space and the YouTube,' 'Space to be reborn as a craftsman,' and 'Finding one's own direction as a Teacher-YouTuber.' Given those findings, we found that the identity and desire of secondary science teachers, which were limited in the existing secondary schools and classrooms, was expanded in a new space called YouTube. In addition, we suggested that YouTube could be a space where science teachers can realize their own ideals and feel the joy. And simple regulating teacher's behavior in Youtube space only based on norms and standards shared in traditional educational space would rather hinder their healthy construction of identity and growth.

  • The purpose of this study is to present various examples of collaborative learning based on the Instruction of Internet in the 6th grade elementary school mathematics class. So we introduce the design method of classroom environment for classroom Internet and give example of various teaching methods. This study was conducted for nine months from March to November, 2016, one sixth grade of elementary school in D area. During this period, we conducted Instruction of Internet-based collaborative learning to classify typical teaching cases. We classified into 5 type collaborative learning. First, collaborative learning in the classroom. Second, remote collaborative learning between classroom and classroom. Third, Live participation classes. Forth, project collaborative learning. Fifth, using virtual reality in collaborative learning. In addition, we could identify that there is a difference compared to the conventional learning. It became possible to conduct collaborative learning with other students simultaneously or have opening class with both parents and teachers by using Youtube. These examples can be presented as a case to depart from traditional mathematics class in one classroom. In this regard, we will be able to provide several implications about teaching methods utilizing smart device and Internet in future classroom.

For this study, an online survey was conducted from July 16 to 30, 2021 for adult learners living in the metropolitan area. A total of 428 people participated in the survey, and a total of 409 copies of the results were analyzed, excluding 19 insincere responses. The main analysis results are as follows. First, The fitness of the research model was verified to be suitable for all analysis. Second, as a result of confirming the coefficients and statistical significance of each pathway in the research model, the motivation to participate in YouTube lifelong education was learning flow and academic self-efficacy, and academic self-efficacy also had a positive effect on learning flow. Third, it was confirmed that the effect of participation motivation in YouTube lifelong education on learning flow through academic self-efficacy was a statistically significant partial mediation. This study is meaningful in that it verified the structural relationship analysis between participation motive, academic self-efficacy, and learning flow in online lifelong education using YouTube reflecting the digital transformation of lifelong education due to COVID-19. Reflecting the need for re-regulation of lifelong education formed after COVID-19 and the flow of digital transformation through the research results, we discussed how lifelong education can enhance learners' motivation to participate and strengthen learning flow through academic self-efficacy as a medium.
